Dennis place was spectacular for what we needed. We were In Monterey to dive the Bay and it was perfect. Plenty of space to dry our gear in the garage and the home was well appointed for our every need. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Sandra's home was really comfortable and clean. good size bedrooms and bathrooms. very clean and well maintained. the kitchen is newly remodeled and well stocked. ample parking spots were useful for our friends. the property is located close to various attractions. we loved our stay.

Clean, comfy, and conveniently located for our road trip to Santa Cruz and the coast. We walked to shops, the marina, and the beach during our stay. The large dining table was great for playing Yahtzee while Alexa served up our favorite tunes on demand. Al, the maintenance guy who lives next door, introduced himself the first day of our stay, gave us his card, and offered to support whatever we needed—but we didn’t need much. A previous guest left a broken corkscrew, and I could've called Al. Instead, I walked to Day’s Market Liquors & Deli and bought a $5 replacement, along with freshly made chicken tamales that were absolutely delicious.

In the words of our toddler: "I love this place!" and "Today, a perfect day." Clean and comfortable for the grown-ups, with lots of fun toys to explore for the kiddos. Thanks for a great weekend!

Really nice place to enjoy the weekend with the kids and dogs. It had clear instructions all around the house etc. The backyard was fenced up and secured for the dogs to run in. And the fire pit was fun to just stay warm and do smores . We’ll be back for sure!

My wife love the house and the proximity to the Santa Barbra board walk. We came out here for her birthday and she loved the house. It’s very spacious and the owners can easily host more than two people if they wanted to. The house was nice, warm, and we were able to walk to all the things my wife wanted to go do. The house comes with one parking spot and a nice small outdoor yards to take pictures in. Great place for a couples get away.

John was proactive at giving local recommendations from the moment we booked. Jen, his daughter, met us at the unit to hand over the keys and give an overview of the unit, very responsive, and gave clear check-out instructions. Unit was perfect for 4 adults - spacious, clean, well-stocked kitchen (remember to bring your own oil) for baking/cooking/serving, warm & comfortable beds and bedding, stocked bathrooms (shampoo/conditioner/body soap) with quick hot water, 5 minute walk to Avila Beach, convenient W/D in unit, and even coffee for the coffee maker! Well-stocked, simply furnished bungalow-type attached residence in the Seabright neighborhood, convenient to the northeastern residential sections of Santa Cruz and to supermarkets and natural food stores. Many new, easy-to-operate small appliances and good laundry set-up. Ample kitchenware and condiments. Quiet city surroundings, easy parking. Overall, staying at the unit (and interacting with owner) was a pleasure.

We are returning guests at Corey’s Grover beach units. Always a pleasure booking with Corey. He was able to offer early check in for us. He is also very responsive. The location is close to the Oceano dunes and Pismo pier. The area has great restaurants around as well. This unit was cozy and prefect for our family.

Having traveled around the world and stayed in numerous Airbnb homes, I can confidently say this was one of the most beautiful and impeccably clean properties we’ve ever stayed in. Our experience with Airbnb has often been that, while guests are granted access to the property, hosts rarely go above and beyond to make their guests feel genuinely comfortable, as hotels typically strive to do. On top of that, with additional California fees, it’s easy to leave feeling shortchanged. Unfortunately, this seems to have become a common culture on Airbnb. However, that was absolutely not the case here. David anticipated every little amenity a guest might need, and the attention to detail was remarkable. The towels and bedding were luxurious, and the property was immaculate. It was the perfect start to 2025 for us. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

This is a great condo in a central location walkable to many restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops. The layout is efficient with all the amenities you need (bonus steam shower too!) There is a small park within the condo complex as well as a large park walkable on the railroad path.

My wife and I stayed at Jason and Leigh Ann's place for three nights in October 2024. The unit is part of a nine building condo complex (Pajaro Dunes Resort) which is separated from the wonderful Seacliff beach by low dunes, and the passageway to the beach is right next door. The kitchen was well-equipped (no yard sale rejects) and organized. The amount of space was perfect for a couple and everything was spotless and tastefully decorated. Renters who plan to do cooking may want to bring all the spices, oils and other accessory components they need since only spray oil, salt and pepper was provided. When we visited, the ocean view from this ground floor unit was largely obscured by dune grass, which was higher that that shown in the photos. I noted that the rental price for comparable units on the second or third floors was much higher and, for the price difference, we'll look at dune grass. Maybe when we book again it will be lower.

If you are considering this place, look no further and book it now!! It is gorgeous, super functional, cozy, and so convenient to the beach. We had a magical weekend celebrating my mom’s birthday, enjoying cozy times by the fire, multiple walks on the beach, and feeling a million miles away. Thank you, My, for sharing your home with us!!

This property has an awesome location - just steps from the beach. What really stood out was how responsive the host is. We checked in just before midnight as we were stuck in traffic but she stayed up to make sure we got in all right. Whenever we had a question, she was quick to respond. Thank you for a great stay!

We love staying in Avila and will absolutely book with Vince & Emily in the future. The condo was clean, spacious and well furnished. The location is perfect to walk to restaurants, shops, the beach or a bike ride to the port.
