We loved our time at the Old Fire Station! We found the accommodation to be modern, clean, and very comfortable. It’s conveniently located in the center of Benenden, yet quiet and private - and just a couple of minutes walk to the village shop and the pub.

I booked Gemma's charming cottage for two nights as I was attending a nearby Wedding. It was cheerfully and cozily decorated, cleaned to a very high standard, with all amenities provided for a comfortable stay. The warm welcome from Gemma's lovely parents Jan and John was a highlight, together with the beautiful surroundings and nature at the property. I especially enjoyed watching Jan's three Guinea Fowl and all the birds in the trees around the lake. A very peaceful and idyllic location! As a solo traveller I was a little concerned to be off the beaten track, however upon arrival it was a great comfort that their family homes were very much nearby. I would love to return and be able to truly enjoy the countryside in both the immediate vicinity and wider areas. Although a car is most definitely a must! Thank you again!
