All we wanted was a peaceful quiet weekend in a nice place and Carmel's place at the Maltings didn't disappoint at all. Along with all the local attractions we were lucky enough to pick the weekend for christmas light switch on and christmas fair in the town centre so plenty of things to do and see. Would definitely stay again and the only thing one thing we would change is we would ask for two wine glasses instead of the single one supplied. Great place, lovely town fantastic weekend.

what a gorgeous place in a truly beautiful location. I could not have been happier to spend nye here. Beautifully remote and the place has everything we could ask for. The hosts are very friendly and supportive as well.

This was our second stay in this lovely peaceful cottage - we especially like the wood burner and well thought-out accommodation. Highly recommended. We also really enjoyed visiting nearby Lavenham.
