We had a lovely time in this amazing cottage. The place is very big but also super clean! It's also the perfect encounter between old and new, and every kitchen or cleaning product is organic and sustainable. The inside is beautiful but what really surprised us was the garden and the BBQ, which we tried for our dinner! The fireplace helped make the atmosphere even warmer. A much appreciated addition was a bed for our puppy with toys and treats! Price is 100% fair. We also loved meeting a bunch of lovely spaniels, that was the highlight of the holiday!! We'll definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area

Annelie's beautiful cottage was a pleasure to stay at. Great pub across the road. The place was spotlessly clean and everything worked well. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the fire was a joy in the chilly nights of March. Annelie was very kind and friendly, she bought us more wood down and we had a lovely chat, she was kind enough to give us some recommendations too. The areas is very beautiful and ideal for walking, there are various walks you can do straight from the cottage. The cottage is pet friendly. Thank you Annelie for enabling a lovely weekend away with my sister. xx

We loved our stay in this stunning home! Two fab pubs just outside which had been recommended to us by the host, along with lots of other helpful tips. Parking wasn't too much of an issue for us, but be warned the village was quite crowded with tourists, even at this time of year. Didn't bother us too much but we weren't really expecting it! We loved the house and really loved that there were some logs left so that we could have a cosy fire in the log burner. Stairs are a bit of a death trap (this was to our amusement) but host had warned us about those so we were aware of what we were getting ourselves into! People with limited mobility would need to take this into account when booking. Really appreciated we were able to bring a dog too, and there were some lovely walks around the area, umbrellas and wellies were at the property which was also really helpful. Overall a really beautiful unique property, ideal for a cosy winter stay!

Absolutely stunning place to stay, beautiful location, very peaceful, the cottage is finished to a high standard, fully equipped kitchen. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in the area. Unfortunately I was on a work trip and didn’t get to explore locally, but would love to return for a peaceful escape with my family.

We had an amazing weekend at the lake side cabin, the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. The lake and cabin were exactly what we were hoping for. The grounds are really well kept with so many animals from ducks, goats, pea hens, chickens and a lovely Avery. The fishing was great, I caught 15 carp over the weekend along with many roach and skimmers too. The fish are all in great condition. We travelled as a family and our dog. We will definitely book again.
