Just over the dune line road from quiet east end beaches. Great fishing and uncrowded relaxing . Excellent for families or couples (4 person maximum) with private spaces indoor and out. Two master bedrooms with kings and pillow tops. Second floor cottage recently remodeled and decorated. Shared pool and gulf views from front room and master. Front Deck. Large furnished screened porch. You will be hard pressed to find a better spot for your vacation dollars. Beach wagon, umbrella and chairs.

Plenty of room for boats and trailers on this 1/2 acre. You and your guests share a private entertainment area which converts to a bedroom. A private bedroom is also provided. Bathroom includes a shower. Small kitchen area with mini refrigerator, sink and microwave.

The location of the house was perfect for our family. It was only 5 minute walk to the beach and a couple of restaurants. The house was clean and the beds were very comfy. The neighborhood is very kid friendly. The host is very responsive, we had two bikes that only worked and she went out of her way to have some deliver.

The location was excellent, a few minute walk thru the community to the beach. The townhouse overlooked a pond, enjoyed watching the numerous turtles and birds from the decks while relaxing or barbecuing on the gas grill. Everything needed for a beach day was provided, we used the umbrella, chairs, and a beach wagon to easily get it to the beach. The unit was nicely decorated, the kitchen was well equipped to make cooking easy. The king sized bed was very comfortable. We had a great vacation relaxing on the beach, fishing, exploring the state park, riding on the bicycle trail., and eating oysters at the numerous oyster bars in the Port Saint Joe area

I wanted a getaway for Fall Break with my youngest daughter at the Beach. My oldest daughter recommended Barbara’s place and it was perfect for us. It was bright, clean and cozy. We were mere steps away from our favorite place- the beach! The town is quaint and quiet and not over run with college kids. The people we met were warm and welcoming. We enjoyed a stroll down Main Street and wandering into the little shops. The White Marlin offered us a magnificent view of a stunning sunset along with a top tier dining experience. This a MUST if you want a quiet escape.

The place was exactly as described and we were so comfortable! Everything was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the amenities were helpful. I really appreciated the beach gear Sarah provided, as it saved us so much space in the car to not have to pack beach towels and chairs. We didn’t need the cart and umbrella this time, but they would be very helpful to families with small kids. It was nice stuff too- sturdy and in good shape. The location to the beach was perfect- right across the street! It is a beautiful stretch of beach too- white sands and not too crowded. This was just the relaxing getaway we needed and we’ll definitely come back to Sarah’s place again. My teenagers enjoyed the pool too- they said it was nice and clean. I wouldn’t know because I spent my time on that lovely beach. I can’t think of a single improvement I’d suggest!

We had a great stay! The location was perfect and house was clean. Highlights were the heated pool, beach, and ice cream shop all within walking or biking distance. The fire pit was a bonus for evenings. The host was very kind and quick to respond to any questions. They even set up a Christmas tree for our holiday stay! Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Barefoot Escape. Our view of the Gulf and Bay were beautiful the walk to the beach so quick and easy. The mature palms around the pool area were so relaxing. The large seating areas on the blaconies and in the home made the experience wonderful. We have been to the Cape many times and so far this home has been our favorite.
