Beachfront vacation rentals in Apalachicola Bay

Perfect family vacay! We rented a golf cart that was super helpful getting our chairs and canopies to the beach and was extra fun all around. The house is positioned well for views and beach access. Loved it!

Very good location! Host was responsive when we had issues. The coffee maker is a regular black and decker pot coffee maker. No en-suite but the bathrooms are right beside the bedrooms. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on one side and the other bedroom and bathroom are on the opposite side of the house. Perfect for two families! The couch in the living room wasn’t particularly comfortable and it was squeaky. We found the bed very comfortable but our son said his bed was uncomfortable.

We stayed here last year with our dogs and loved it, so we booked it again. It’s a great house in a great location. We were a little disappointed because it seemed like some things were not as well kept up as last time. The lift was not working and it seemed a few kitchen essentials were missing. But, overall was a wonderful trip once again!

I loved staying here! It feels like you’re on a boat. Throughout the day I would move to different balconies to chill. The beach felt very private. Enjoyed the restaurants and general stores close by. Everything was so peaceful.

Unfortunately Hurricane Helene cut our trip short but we enjoyed all 38 hours we were there. The condo is just as pictured and described. The beach is a beach lovers haven. Walk for miles, not built up, dog friendly, and ideal for star gazing at nights (pretty serious about no light/protecting turtles). We didn’t get to do this but I would get bikes so that you can bike to the “town” (handful of restaurants) to eat without needing a car - I think its 3mi or so so it’s not walkable. Thanks for a good time - hope that the storm is kind to the island!

This place was a DREAM! You know when you're at the beach and you see some condos and you think, "I wish I was staying there..." THIS IS THAT PLACE! My kids AND my husband were pumped that it had a Monopoly theme so of course, we played. :) This place is super charming...also, everything you need is there...we didn't buy charcoal or even a lighter. Kitchen stocked great, excellent spot for the kids to hang out...and this condo is right in the middle of everything...walk everywhere! Yay! My boy played basketball every day (30 steps from the condo) grocery 3-4 minute walk, the lighthouse, the shopping, the food, I parked when we got there and never got in my car again! Note, if you have an electric car there is a spot to charge less than1/4 mile walk at the buccaneer inn. My husband drove separate, EV no problem! We had a great time! It was clean and perfect and right on the beach, the BEST!

We had a lovely stay at the Lazy Pelican. The place is cozy and comfortable. Our host, Dee, was wonderfully responsive. We hope to return soon.

Well stocked kitchen...best I've seen! Plenty of paper products! Easy walk to the beach! Loved the porch swing! The pool was nice, but the weather was too cold! Plenty of beach chairs and sand toys! We enjoyed the hot chocolate left for us! Coffee bar was well stocked! We enjoyed our family Thanksgiving holidays!

This was the perfect place for our mini Thanksgiving vacay.

I loved this place! Perfect home base to explore the area, or even chill at home beside the beautiful pool and hot tub. Doug was super responsive and offered great suggestions. I hope to be back!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! We went for our anniversary and the hot tub and pool was the highlight—spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. It truly felt like our private oasis! The host was exceptional—thoughtful, attentive, and quick to respond to any questions we had. Kevin went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for a memorable stay. The property was exactly as described and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and hope to return soon!

What a wonderful place to create lifelong memories with family and friends! The home was very spacious and was furnished with almost everything you need for your stay! Our family throughly enjoyed our time!

We were extremely comfortable in this home away from home. The description was spot on. The walk to the beach was easy. The amenities with this place exceeded our expectations! The golf cart was so fun, the kayak was a big hit with our grand children. We also loved the sun protection at the beach provided by the Ninja. One of our favorite places was the pool!

Great location. Very easy to get to the beach. Just make sure you go to Walmart before you get there if you need anything that's not at Dollar General or Piggly Wiggly

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Mimi’s place. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There were so many extra “homey” touches that we appreciated such as pool and beach toys (even kayaks and golf clubs). The location was just what we were looking for and I would go back in a heartbeat!!

The condo is beautiful!! Everything is decorated so pretty and the location is perfect. It was so peaceful and had everything we needed. It was nice to have the beach chairs, kayak and paddle board there for us to use .

Loved Allison's place, the decor, furnishings, and all that goes with it, very nice. Everything was as described and in working order. The place was very clean and provided a lot of little things some places don't, like hand soap, coffee filters, spices, foil, detergent, dish soap, cleaning supplies, just to name a few. She even had some popcorn for us. The only thing we had to buy was garage bags. The bath towels were fresh and clean and the bathrooms were spotless. She is a very thoughtful host. The only thing we had an issue with was the thermostat is set by the host, and I totally get why, but it was very hot the week we stayed and would liked to have bumped it down a notch or two. It got hot upstairs a few times but the ceiling fan helped some. We are just used to having it really cool in our own home and it was warmer than we are used to. Everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay! Would stay there again!

Amazing view!! So peaceful & relaxing! It was so easy to access the beach! The sunsets from the upstairs balcony were stunning! Thanks so much and would love to return with friends next time!

The house looked just like the pictures . The beach is spectacular and a quick walk . There is a great restaurant , smokehouse , for meat eaters in walking distance . The town of port St. Joe also offers a grocery store and other restaurants. The house has everything you need for a wonderful beachfront vacation. If you did not bring your own umbrellas and chairs there is many company’s that offer it for a small fee. We took advantage of this service and worked well for us. The house is equipped with all the information you need to make your stay comfortable.

It was a memorable Thanksgiving. We were able to travel to Tallahassee with ease for UF vs. FSU to cheer for a house divided. Beautiful setting and the dog loved not having to be on a leash. The dock provided a magnificent sunrise location.

Kimberly was very easy to work with. She was accommodating and very helpful. The house was spacious, well appointed and clean. I would definitely stay again. I think they are installing a pool which will be a nice enhancement, but either way a great place given that the beach is so close.

We had a great time here! We loved that we were right by the pool but it was still quiet! The location is great. It’s close Port St. Joe/Cape San Blas or PCB if you need more touristy things to do one of the days (we did a really fun pirate cruise in PCB). Just be aware that if you have young children that you do have to cross a busy road to get to the beach and unfortunately not everyone slowed down or acknowledged the crosswalk flashing lights. There is also construction directly across the street to walk around too but I know they are rebuilding so that didn’t bother us at all. We never heard any noise from it either. There is definitely plenty of room and we felt safe staying here! We brought a lot of beach stuff with us but it was nice to have an extra umbrella. There are also plenty of beach towels and chairs and floats! It had plenty of dishes and pots and pans to cook with which we did most days we were there. Overall, it was a great place to stay!
