House vacation rentals in Ankeny

Beautiful large home was very clean and comfortable for our family stay. The grandkids enjoyed the pool! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you need to prepare meals of any kind - including grilling. Would highly recommend this to groups/large families.

We rented the main house and the guest house and our stay was fantastic. If you are looking for a property where you and your friends/family can have a great time without having to leave the house this is it! Robert was easy to get in touch with whenever we had questions and everything was as described. We really enjoyed hanging out by the pool and cooking in the high tech kitchen. If we come back to this area we will definitely be renting this house again!

Would definitely stay again! We had a late family Christmas (meet up in the middl states wise) and they even left a Christmas tree up 🤩 we enjoyed a hockey game in town and enjoyed having the hot tub to warm up after! Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby as well 💯.

Super clean, great area. Quiet, easy to get in and out. Bed was comfortable, nice towels. Washer and dryer on site. Great stay! Would definitely stay here again.

My father in law had surgery in Des Moines so all 5 siblings, spouses and a few grandkids stayed in the home. It was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone and very clean! We even talked about staying again in the summer to enjoy the pool and backyard!

Very comfortable bed and couch, the TVs were awesome and the living area was surprisingly spacious. Neighborhood is peaceful and centrally located in Des Moines with Beaverdale and downtown Drake a short distance away.

Easy key pad entrance. Lovely kitchen. Quiet neighborhood. No complicated check out instructions. We would stay again!

I was surprised to find a place to stay right in the small town where my son lives. Brett’s small house gave us the opportunity to spend time with family without inconveniencing them. Will definitely stay here when we visit Collins in the future.

Great location and beautifully decorated, everything worked well, and every detail thought of. Host was awesome and Winterset is a great place to visit. Great people and lots to see in the middle of farm country, but only 30 minutes from DSM airport - which most airlines serve. Walk only 2 blocks to downtown with lots to see and parks nearby. Beautiful place, check it out!!

Victoria’s House exceeded our expectations ! We loved so many unexpected treats - like the beautiful white/gold appliances - a little touch that made cooking feel special and pretty and the coffee pot made THE best coffee …it may have also been the special Christmas on the Farm 🎄 coffee that was left for us to enjoy ! The peaceful surrounding was absolutely cathartic with a view of horses grazing from the front picture window. The entire home was decorated with luxurious linens and an attention to detail was found throughout with thoughtful items like the perfectly set table, whimsical Christmas decor and fun scented candles and bathroom spray that smelled amazing! The beds were extremely comfortable. Karri was warm and responsive to our needs - even showing up with farm fresh eggs !! Our only negative was that we didn’t have time to shop at the store before heading home on our last day. The cozy warmth of this home stayed with for quite some time … bringing us such joy.

Great spot for a small group of people! The home was very clean and kitchen/bathrooms were nice and modern. Nice to walk to La Mie for breakfast. Flexible check-in was a bonus! Would stay here again!

We had a great stay! Everything was as described. The fenced in back yard was great for the dogs and we had everything we needed. Eon was great communicating with my messages and even went out of his way to make sure we were able to watch the Super Bowl! The other houses on the block are pretty old and a little off putting but we felt safe the whole time and had no issues.

This was an excellent place for my family and I to enjoy Thanksgiving together. It was very peaceful and scenic; we saw deer every morning and evening. We enjoyed having space to play games and enjoy meals...the kitchen really was a great social place!

The Trailside Inn is a fabulous addition to our AirBNB stays, conveniently located to nearby towns, great pricing and a huge space. This historic home has all of the amenities you could think of, it has plenty of rooms and space for a large group. Cup of Joy right next door is a fantastic coffee place that is convenient and affordable, check it out during your stay! The house was built in 1902 and has a ton of charm, my toddlers believe “someone else lives there” and saw “ghosts” which was a fun spooky addition to our stay 🤣. We would gladly come back when visiting the local towns again!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Angie’s place and we love it! Perfect for our family to spread out, watch movies, and have breakfast and coffee at the big dining table. We’ll be back!

Newly constructed home in Perry with large sitting area for a whole family and very nice bedrooms. The bed in the master bedroom was particularly comfortable. Nice big kitchen area and well stocked and very good amenities. Loved that they had a Christmas tree as it gave it a warm feeling. Very convenient to everything in Perry. Highly recommend this house to other families.

What a beautiful welcoming home. This place was fantastic! The location was ideal and everything we needed to have the best Thanksgiving. We loved all of the space and privacy this lot had and the dogs loved it too! I come across a lot of places that seem to be missing the necessities you need for a comfortable stay, but this place has everything you could ever need. Thank you all for being great hosts!
