Sweet Spot

This is the smallest of 4 apartments in a beautifully restored, turn of the century home that was turned into apartments in the 1920s. Three huge sycamore trees surround the house. The fully fenced back yard is a nature retreat complete with pond and sometimes frogs. Large decks surround the back of the house with each tenant having their own share of deck and a BBQ. Whitetail Cottage is a lovely spacious home surrounded by manicured lawns and natural wooded acreage in the heart of farm country. Zana made sure we were comfortable in the Cottage with plenty of paper goods and coffee to get us started on our week's stay. The linens were bountiful and of high quality. Wi-Fi worked great, AC was cold, hot water was hot! Not a spec of dirt or stray hair was found. This sounds pretty basic, but it's the little things that make a place wonderful! Every detail was accounted for including turning on the ice maker for us, providing mints in the candy dishes, and detergent for the washing machine. Cows across the gravel road (behind a secure fence) and deer greeted us each morning and evening. The stars visible in the night sky are impressive at this location. That being said, Wal-Mart was just a 20-minute drive away so stocking-up on food was easy. I hope we will be able to return again to this beautiful location and kind hostess.

The house was very comfortable and full of character. The decor through the house is unique and fun, and all areas of the home, inside and out, are very accommodating for any level of hang-out. The hosts and co-host have quick and effective communication and made us feel very welcome. An excellent home to stay in, and wonderful hosts. We travel the country a lot for work, and stay in many houses. This is one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had so far. Zero complaints.

The apartment was clean, comfortable. Kitch well stocked. I appreciated that drinking water was provided. Its in a very convenient location just off the square. The apartment is beautifully decorated with many art pieces. Wifi internet would make it even more convenient. We had a great stay!

I cant say enough About my experience other than above expectation. David and his group were amazing, kind, friendly, and very responsive to all questions. Home was very clean and full of vibrant accessories, it was most certainly all that was defined in the description and so much more. By far my best Airbnb Stay thus far. I would live here! So peaceful & quiet! Being on the back deck is wonderful! Close to the golf course and town. I took a ton of wildlife & nature pictures. My husband fished a lot as well. It is small (but perfect for the two of us), buggy at times, the tv has 6 channels & there's no wifi, but none of this bothered us one bit since we were outside most of the time anyway. We can't wait to return! Thanks for everything!
