Beachfront vacation rentals in Androscoggin County

If you are looking for a quiet place off the beaten path to unplug and get away from the rat race of life this is a perfect spot to do just that.

We just returned from the most outstanding stay at Castle Rock Lodge. My large group of 10 people, 3 generations ranging in age from 4 to 80 years, thoroughly enjoy themselves. From the gorgeous and comfortable cabin, to the waterfront with fire pit and small boats, to the vast woods with trails for adventures, no one wanted to leave. The setting was so serene and peaceful, we felt totally removed from the world (no worries, Walmart is 25min away). We truly hope to return to Castle Rock Lodge.

Great place to stay. Cozy cabin with privacy with plenty of trails to walk and a nice swim dock. will definitely return.

Really good place for relaxing. Cabin was very clean. Host Kelly is really good and friendly person. Hope will come back in the future.

This house worked out great for us. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. We put the grill to good use. Also appreciated tying our boat up at the private dock. Our afternoon guests had plenty of place to park their cars. We had a great stay at Lakeside cottage!

Everything about this house was fantastic. The pond was great for kayaking, fishing and swimming. I couldn't ask for more. My family had a wonderful time and would love to return at a future date Love the song of the loons and bald eagles.

Vicky saved our college graduation weekend after another Airbnb host cancelled our reservation a week before. That reservation was made nearly four months ago. That host lied and left us in a awful position with little to no options. Vicky empathized immediately and helped us determine if her property would work late on a weekday while she was away. She was responsive, helpful and flexible. The property was great with awesome lake views, wildlife, and just a serene beautiful environment. Vicky saved a critical weekend celebrating our son’s college graduation from Bates.

We had an excellent stay at Lakefront Bliss! We had 6 adults and 2 kids and it perfectly accommodated everyone. No issues with the listing at all and the owners were very prompt responding and nice. We met the neighbors across the street who were also very kind. Peaceful mornings and amazing views!

Three level cozy cabin on historic Bear Pond near Turner. Spacious primary suite on the second floor. Canoe and kayaks available for use on the clear cool waters. Picnic table, grill and bonfire area looking over the water.

Would definitely recommend. Very nice and clean and a lot of nature.

Had a fantastic week staying at this house, the lake was so beautiful and we loved seeing AND HEARING the loons that lived there. The house was perfect for our group, it was very comfy and clean and big enough for us all to have our own space. It had all the amenities we needed and plenty of dishes and towels as well. Everything was very clean and couldn’t recommend enough!

The home was lovely and comfortable. There were seven of us and we cooked and ate breakfast every morning together. There was plenty of room. The backyard was right on the lake and was beautiful and peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay! Lisa is very responsive and so nice. We quickly made friends with Bella, the resident dog, and she is the sweetest pup. We were surprised with a Thanksgiving snow storm and the town lost power but there is a whole house generator, so we didn’t skip a beat or notice the power outage, which was so nice! There is a coffee pot on site (not a Keurig) and Lisa provided coffee grounds, which was amazing because we brought coffee pods. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom but there is no door, so if you need more privacy, I’d plan to tack up a blanket. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the property is peaceful. A gas station with a Dunkin is just a just a minute or two down the road and very convenient. We would definitely return.
