Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Androscoggin County

Extremely peaceful and relaxing! The rental is more like a home than a cottage/camp with its recent tasteful, pleasing, and very functional renovations (the flooring was well done and looked great; the mini-split system made it very comfortable even when it was in the 90’s; and, the new furnishings were attractive and comfortable). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Alexis was very nice and welcoming, the house was clean and as described. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

All you will need are groceries and your clothes. Excellent accommodation inside and out! They have 4 "adirondack" chairs outside, but they are very comfortable and chubby people can get out of them! Highly recommend, Eleanor has thoughtfully stocked this home so you just have to relax and enjoy.

Had a fantastic week staying at this house, the lake was so beautiful and we loved seeing AND HEARING the loons that lived there. The house was perfect for our group, it was very comfy and clean and big enough for us all to have our own space. It had all the amenities we needed and plenty of dishes and towels as well. Everything was very clean and couldn’t recommend enough!

The family love this home and location. Christy and Joe were very pleasant to deal with and always responded to our concerns no matter how small. The location was very beautiful this time of year, perfect and very quiet. Instructions to the home were straightforward and easy to understand. Such a wonderful spot to stay for any occasion. Absolutely amazing views of the lake, which was so gorgeous to wake up to! Rhonda was so lovely, she came up to introduce herself and gave a little overview of the place! I would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great time and we are very satisfied. This place was clean, well put together, convenient, and so comfy we felt at home. The TV even had Disney plus which the kids loved. The park is right around the corner. This Air BNB had everything we needed and then some. I personally like to clean and do laundry so the big washer/dryer was a plus. Had a Walmart order delivered and they found the place with no problem. Nice porch and yard. We felt very safe with our kids (even with autism) thanks to the surveillance system, the cleaning cabinet was locked up which needed a code to be unlocked, and the code that locks/unlocks the door. Ours host/s we’re very responsive even when I thought they wouldn’t be. I highly recommend this space wether you have kids or not if you need a three bedroom, this is it! Make sure to check out the shower head my kids were astonished! Thank you for providing a home away from home I hope this helps for future renters. We are 100% happy with our stay! :)

Auburn Roots is a very clean and comfortable stay! The owners are very responsive and helped us within 10 minutes when we locked ourselves out and also quick to help when the other guests locked us out of the laundry room. The spot was convenient to where our events were for the weekend and felt safe morning and night. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay, love the scenery at Cathy’s place. The pictures doesn’t do it justice everything was beautiful. Both her and Mr Toby were very pleasant and knowledgeable about any questions I had during my stay. It’s a lovely apartment I highly recommend it to anyone I’ll definitely be staying again next time I’m in the area.

It was just what we needed. It was so relaxing. It was Homie quaint it was nicely dated very convenient full kitchen drawing room or sitting room. The lake is literally maybe 45 steps away which brings you three docs and any color kayak you want lifejackets you know safety first and great bass fishing. It was beautiful. I enjoyed the R&R honestly it was for anniversary/Mother’s Day so it was very peaceful. The bed is so comfortable. It was just a wonderful time. Beautiful couch very comfortable. You can fit too. You wanna lay down and watch a movie. Plenty of places to eat little stores to run to. It was really nice. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back.

We had a wonderful stay! Lisa is very responsive and so nice. We quickly made friends with Bella, the resident dog, and she is the sweetest pup. We were surprised with a Thanksgiving snow storm and the town lost power but there is a whole house generator, so we didn’t skip a beat or notice the power outage, which was so nice! There is a coffee pot on site (not a Keurig) and Lisa provided coffee grounds, which was amazing because we brought coffee pods. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom but there is no door, so if you need more privacy, I’d plan to tack up a blanket. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the property is peaceful. A gas station with a Dunkin is just a just a minute or two down the road and very convenient. We would definitely return.

I was just passing through for the night to get a good night's rest. Couldn't have asked for more peaceful, comfortable home. Super comfy bed and the house is just so charming as well as the neighborhood. Also love all the flowers and the bird feeders. Elizabeth is a great communicator and is available if you need her. All around just a perfect spot.

We stayed here to be near Bates college for graduation weekend. We felt right at home! The cabin was warm and inviting... cozy, clean and safe! It was so secluded, with a gorgeous view over the water. We would love to return when we can simply stay in the cabin and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We had a great stay at Leah's cabin. The place was warm and cozy, and we enjoyed the lookout onto the beautiful frozen lake. Leah was very proactive and responsive. A great stay!

David is an incredibly helpful and gracious host. He is clear in communicating how to find the camp, provided us help to make pizza dough (bringing us equipment!), had great cookbooks, had drink making equipment, and when my husband lost his hearing aids in the water, spent 30 mins with his snorkel looking for them. You can't ask for nicer host. The camp itself is well equipped and very comfortable. Did I mention it has A/C and a dishwasher? Conveniences not normally found when you're so close to the water. The well water was great and the beds comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. We look forward to coming back!

This cabin is one of the most wonderful places I have been. My partner and I stayed just under a week and we enjoyed every second! It was so peaceful and relaxing to be away in such a beautiful home in an amazing area!
