Vacation rentals with lake access in Androscoggin County

Extremely peaceful and relaxing! The rental is more like a home than a cottage/camp with its recent tasteful, pleasing, and very functional renovations (the flooring was well done and looked great; the mini-split system made it very comfortable even when it was in the 90’s; and, the new furnishings were attractive and comfortable). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

House was great, and our guests had no complaints at all, we very much appreciate the accommodations.

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

We spent three nights at this beautiful camp. Lovely views of the lake, very comfortable home with everything you'd need to cook, play games, and enjoy the setting. Steps down to lake access are very steep, as advertised and may not be accessible to all. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome after Christmas getaway with our 4 adult children. Plenty of room to be together and apart. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen and plethora of towels! Old school fun with the many game choices. Beautiful sunrises over the lake and enjoyed numerous walks ON the lake. Will be sure to recommend to others looking for a lovely, comfortable stay.

This is a lovely spot on a beautiful lake. The house was quiet, clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The beds were very comfortable and you could control the heat in various parts of the house. I would definitely recommend this place for a cozy stay!

Super cozy house very comfortable for our family of 6. Spent a nice weekend enjoying the beautiful foliage and stunning sunsets on the pond. Close to a grocery store and local attractions. Cooked dinner both nights had everything we needed and more!

Elizabeth made us and our 2 year old dog feel right at home. Despite brisk winter conditions and a heavy snow storm on our last night/day, she welcomed us and made sure that everything was as we needed. The location is beautiful (on a lake in Maine) and in a quiet area. The bedroom is very comfortable as is the living room. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked many of our meals there. Overall great stay. We highly recommend Elizabeth's place.

Lovely, cozy, and warm despite the cold weekend! The communication was perfect. The roads were plowed early in the morning after the snow so getting in and out was no trouble. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! Lisa is very responsive and so nice. We quickly made friends with Bella, the resident dog, and she is the sweetest pup. We were surprised with a Thanksgiving snow storm and the town lost power but there is a whole house generator, so we didn’t skip a beat or notice the power outage, which was so nice! There is a coffee pot on site (not a Keurig) and Lisa provided coffee grounds, which was amazing because we brought coffee pods. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom but there is no door, so if you need more privacy, I’d plan to tack up a blanket. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the property is peaceful. A gas station with a Dunkin is just a just a minute or two down the road and very convenient. We would definitely return.

Christopher’s cottage is amazing! Me and my boyfriend went for the weekend during peak fall, and the views were amazing! It was super peaceful and exactly what we were looking for! Christopher was also very responsive and gave clear instructions. Would love to come back!

Our stay at the beach house was great! You couldn't be closer to the water! So much fun kayaking, floating and swimming in the lake! House is much better than the pictures do it justice. For a 2 bedroom house its very big and spacious, beds were extremely comfortable. The no wifi was a little bit of a downer but there were plenty of board games to play. There is some street noise but not bad at all. Would most definitely recommend if you are looking for waterfront property. The access to the resort pool was a plus too for the kiddos!

This is a great place to stay, very clean and everything we needed was provided for a great stay. The cabin is very private with a peaceful view of the lake. Every room is fully equipped with everything you need and lots of space. and very clean.The yard is very cute and private has a nice deck, a fire pit and a bbq grill. Drew is very responsive and worked with us with everything, and even let us check in early which made it very convenient for us! Drew responds very quickly to answer any questions. This cabin is a very nice place to stay and so clean!

This house worked out great for us. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. We put the grill to good use. Also appreciated tying our boat up at the private dock. Our afternoon guests had plenty of place to park their cars. We had a great stay at Lakeside cottage!

The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature and offering stunning sunset views of the pond along with kayaks to go out and enjoy! The cottage itself was cozy and clean and we felt at home! Darlene was welcoming and attentive ensuring everything was just right for our stay! I highly recommend this charming retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful stay! It was a bit chilly so we were able to enjoy the fire pit outdoors with the wood that was provided! I can’t wait to return and stay longer! We can clearly see why this cottage has so many positive reviews!!

Loons Rest was the perfect get away spot for our 40th anniversary. We were lucky to enjoy the swimming dock in mid September as the daytime temperatures were in the upper 70's to low 80's. The lake was pristine and was warm enough for swimming still. We enjoyed watching and hearing the loons as well as the eagles and kingfishers. We loved the outdoor fire pit when the evenings turned cool as well as the indoor fireplace which is a work of art! Also the was plenty of well seasoned firewood. Everything about this place is very well thought out. If they don't have it you don't need it! The kitchen was well equipped and we were happy to find that there was everything we needed to prepare pizzas to cook on our solo stove pizza oven that we had brought along! John is a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend Loons Rest to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot to vacation.
