A Serene A-Frame Cabin with Hot Tub

MichaelaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a great late October stay for our honeymoon. The cabin was definitely warm enough for the 30 degree temperatures. Hot tub was amazing, that was clean as well. The outdoor kitchen was very convenient, even when it rains the kitchen is still covered. We had an amazing stay, will be visiting again!

We had an amazing time, it’s very intimate. There are neighbors but everyone was friendly. Kitchen is outside, it was cool prepping outside. The hot tub was probably our favorite part, especially with the colder weather coming in. The lake is gorgeous and peaceful. We’ll be back

Just like the pictures cute and comfortable and a great time to relax. Gary was awesome and available if we needed him, email response was fast and it was just a really nice time with nature. Pond place was also close enough to hiking trails and maines department of wildlife and fisheries reserve so we got to see some additional wild life. Overall great experience.

Practically Right on the Water--Very Private

AnnaRating, 5 stars35 months ago
This place is unlike any other - book for a totally unique adventure!! It’s really 3 old buildings that have been connected by a massive screen porch, so you really feel like you’re outside most of the time. The bathroom has been very nicely updated. One thing to note: one of the Queen bedrooms is actually an outbuilding (also nicely re-done, but not connected to the rest of the complex). There’s a dock to jump off on one side, and a shallow sandy area on the other to walk in or for little kids to splash around. The lake is CRYSTAL clear, and the camp is way down on one point, so completely private. There’s really nothing else like it - you have to experience it to understand!

Panther Pond Getaway

HeidiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A delightful cottage on a peaceful lake; it really is a perfect place to unwind. We loved the sun room, views over the lake and plenty of seating for all our family. The kitchen is well equipped and Nancy and Jim left us splendid recommendations to buy local food. We loved local Farm to Table restaurant, Yolked. This is a great place for a quiet vacation and one day I would like to return when it's warmer to try the kayaks and paddle boards which are on site. Thank you for providing such a nice place for our family vacation.

Private family Cabin, Clean, w/Great Swimming area

NancyRating, 5 stars21 months ago
We immediately felt very comfortable. The cabin reminded me of the lake house I spent my summers growing up at. Upon entering, there was a musty smell; once we opened the doors and windows, it pretty much cleared right up. We spent much time on the screened in porch, or back deck, sipping coffee, reading, playing games, napping, sipping wine, etc . The "beach" area was almost non-existent, but Troy & Heather explained that it was because of the vast amounts of rain we've had in 2023. The immediate swimming area is satisfactory; mostly sandy bottom. Anywhere outside of the swim area there was lots & lots of mil-foil weed (small amounts in the swim area itself). Mostly evident when we were kayaking or fishing, sometimes getting our paddles/oars tangled in the weeks. Overall, this was a great place to stay; Troy & Heather were incredibly responsive to our minor questions. We had trouble entering through the front door with the code provided. The side door worked perfectly!
A serene view of Crystal Pond is framed by tall trees, showcasing calm waters reflecting the sky. The grassy shoreline leads to the water's edge, where lush greenery provides a natural border. A sign is visible in the foreground, indicating property or local information.

Authentic MaineCabin

This camp is Maine lake life at its best! We loved the screened in porch and our kids had a blast jumping off the dock. We had some hot days but the cabin stayed cool thanks to afternoon shade. This part of Echo Lake is quiet and serene. It was nice to have well water and a full kitchen. We will be back for sure!

Baljunor Lakehouse. Refresh your soul.

HannahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
My husband and I stayed here for a week and we could not have been happier with our trip. We spent the majority of our time in Maine at Baljunor, enjoying the house and the grounds. On the cooler September days, we snuggled into sweaters and read on one of the numerous docks or napped in the hammock under a blanket, talked on the balcony, chased the sun in the canoe or napped by the fire. On warmer days, we swam in the pristine and tepid waters of Echo Lake and just spent all of our time on the lake and the grounds. We watched a huge bald eagle drying itself off at the top of a tree for hours and said hello to a mink who stopped to check us out as it scoured the perimeter of the lake in search of food! The house was fully stocked with all the linens and kitchen supplied that you could need. There was soap and detergent provided, flashlights and even water shoes. They really provided everything. Gwenn was extremely kind and communicative during our stay. Thank so you much to the family!
