Great stay! Such a cozy cabin and a gracious host!

Jeanne’s place is absolutely gorgeous ! There was plenty of space for all of us and the outside is amazing. The first two days it was raining on and off and we didn’t even see the full Mountain View but nobody complained for a second because this place is so peaceful ! Now, the dogs didn’t want to go back home. The space for them to run is beyond fantastic. We also saw deer almost every morning. Jeanne is great host and very responsive. Thank you so much!!

This is our 3rd stay and it was another fantastic visit! It's our go to spot when we are in Lynchburg and Jennifer is an amazing host.

Such an amazing stay! It is a beautiful house that felt so cozy. The views were incredible! Delores was quick to get back with all the questions I had and left very easy to follow instructions for everything! Will definitely be heading back!

What a great little retreat! It was what I would call "just enough" to get away from it all but not too far away. The cabin was not rustic in nature but sufficiently modern. The bunk room provided enough room for kids to sleep and ample hooks for gear and storage. The bed in the loft I believe had a nice foam topper and the bed frame had extra storage built in. The wood stove downstairs was more than enough to warm the house and even if you elected to not use it, the mini-split was more than effective. The bathroom was bright with clean tile work. Lynchburg and Bedford were 30-45 minutes away for exploration, while a direct path to the Blue Ridge parkway was about 15 mins away.

Dog friendly and gorgeous home. Brand new fixtures and appliances. Fully stocked kitchen only need your own groceries for a complete meal. Gated driveway for extra privacy. Bathrooms are plush and beds very comfortable! House is meticulously decorated and clean. Dwayne is a courteous host.

This is my second stay at Terrapin Mountain. After the first stay, I knew I would return. It is a beautiful home with beautiful views. If the weather is good, the roof patio has a gorgeous view of Terrapin Mountain. If the weather is chilly or wet, the picture windows downstairs provide the same view. :) The kitchen is a chef's delight. There's nothing missing, and the appliances are top notch. Knowing this from our first visit, we came planning to cook and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the kitchen. This year we hiked Terrapin Mountain - in the snow! It is a fantastic hike with an outcrop that offers panoramic views. The trailhead is accessible by foot from the property. I highly recommend for those who love cooking, hiking, and beautiful scenery.

Our 2nd stay, this says something!!! We love this farmhouse, the property is quiet and peaceful. We have used the kitchen to the full advantage both times we have stayed! This kitchen is fully stocked and they always leave us fresh farm eggs in the fridge when we stay, makes a great breakfast. I can not express enough how cozy it is, thank you Joel for being the Host with the Most!

Beautiful, peaceful spot. We walked the orchards, saw lots of geese and cows, took a paddle boat ride on the lake. All about 20 min drive from Lynchburg and Amherst restaurants. The cabin is so much more comfortable than most log cabins - a perfect blend of old world charm and modern amenities. Wil was an excellent host and we will definitely be booking here again.
