Silvia was a wonderful host and the local groundskeepers were lovely as well. Silvia went above and beyond, helping us to communicate to the airline regarding our luggage that didnt arrive. the place was exactly as posted and an amazing value, and was perfect for what we needed. it was wonderfully located from all the sights, and perfectly secluded for our family with little kids. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Cosra Rica!

Jose was a fantastic host, he greeted us personally and was flexible with check in times because we got delayed on our way in. He also provided us with tons of local recommendations and booked tours on our behalf as well. The Airbnb itself was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed, including laundry. Would recommend!

This apartment is good, just as described in the listing. It's equipped with everything necessary and all appliances and WiFi work well. Good stay!

We really loved this Airbnb. The small casita was very comfortable, had great views, friendly animals that came to say hello regularly and was close to lots of activities near the lake and town. The space felt clean, super safe, and homey. We will definitely book again, our favorite place near the lake so far!!

I received a warm welcome at check-in; very friendly hosts. The location is lovely, with grand views of the surrounding valley and hills. The trees and garden make it a peaceful oasis. The apartment is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, as well as comfortable and cozy. Floor-to-ceiling windows make you feel like you are outside among the trees. The kitchen is better-equipped than you find in many Airbnb’s. As others have mentioned, you can walk to the town in about 15 minutes. There are also plenty of taxis in the town. I arrived in Atenas by bus, and had no problem getting around without a car. I would definitely recommend Cat and Yolanda’s place, and will stay there again in the future.

Barbara went above and beyond what I expected as a host based on my Air BnB experiences so far, and her husband Lawrence was amazing as well. They both went above and beyond to assure my stay was comfortable and my first time experience in Costa Rica the best. They were quite helpful in suggesting local things to do and in facilitating my success as a guest. I can't say enough about this experience with them. Their guest house was a perfect accomodation.

It was the best Airbnb ever. The property is the most amazing tropical paradise that you could imagine. Beautiful flowers, shrubs, fruit trees, and a rock surrounded swimming pool. There’s even a lovely river running along the end of the property. The hosts are the sweetest, kindest couple and gave us great suggestions for things to do and places to visit. We plan to refer all our friends to this unique and beautiful home away from home.

Our stay at Joe and Joanne was more than perfect! If we could give more than 5 stars we would. The view from the house is stunning. The sunset amazing. The perfect place to begin our trip to Costa Rica! Very serene and beautiful place. The house is beautiful, very clean, well equipped. The hosts are so welcoming and nice! Joe showed us around the property, gave us great recommandations and advice for our activities and he cooked us a delicious breakfast! We even got the chance to see wild horses ! We would definitely recommend.

OMG!!! This place is good for a couple. The small kitchen is well equipped. The most fantastic of this place is without contradist: the VIEW. Multiple photos for our wallpapers. Wonderful sunset. The only downsideis the road. Poor condition (4X4 absolutely) and motion sickness, but I would go back for the scenery and the calm of the place.

It is a wonderful place next to a River. I really enjoyed my stay. Marianela was a great host. She even went shopping with me on my first day because I had no car. The property is located off any Traffic noise… but since it is quite close to the airport you hear the airplanes starting around 4:30 am. The hot tub only gets to 35 degrees C and takes a while to get warm . But it was still nice to relax in the horrible. I would come back!

A must stay. Million dollar view. I was so surprised.

I was lucky enough to stay here for a month and have a whole Tica experience. Not only were my accommodations wonderful with views next to the tops of the trees where I saw Toucans & other birds, but also mountains in the distance. I already miss the mornings rocking in one of 2 rocking chairs off the porch of my bedroom sipping my coffee as the sun rose. Mila loves to cook & taught me some cultural dishes. She went beyond being a renter, taking me to the market, inviting me to some gatherings & we shared a wonderful day in La Fortuna together. Staying here was a whole expeirence. I was traveling alone but I felt like one of the family. Marian cooked me some yummy plantains, her dog Milo was adorable. The pool was lovely, surrounded by gardens & has a lil table area to eat at with a mountain view. She helped arrange transport to the airport. I didn't want to leave, not only because of beautiful Costa Rica but also because of the friends I left behind. I can't wait to return again.

Kevin was extremely helpful with local recommendations. Having a home cooked breakfast every morning was lovely. The pool was inviting. We enjoyed our dinner at their neighbors’ home (a true farm to table experience!) We would recommend a 4WD vehicle if exploring the areas nearby- roads are a bit tricky.

Our stay with Karol was completely perfect. Everything clean, very nice hostess. We got another delicious breakfast. Everything was very successful. We will be happy to come back. By the way, you can also get married there, we can confirm that it was so nice. And at the terrace at breakfast, butterflies and hummingbirds buzzed. Thank you!

Dani was a wonderful host! He communicated well with us since the beginning of the trip. I definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay near San Jose Costa Rica to stay at Dani’s Airbnb. One of the best airbnbs I have stayed at. Will definitely come back again!

We had a wonderful time. We stayed here because we were close to family in the area, that being said it would be a great place to stay regardless. Maribel was very responsive and an excellent host. Thank you for everything. We would definitely stay here again.

La Casita is a peaceful retreat in beautiful surroundings. Everyday we got to see the mountains in different appearances in different weathers, right from the comfort of home. The house is equipped with everything you need for a long stay: living space, fully equipped kitchen and dining space, bed with blankets and pillows, wardrobe, TV, private attached bathroom with hot shower as well as washer and dryer, car parking, good WiFi. The patio is nice for chilling, eating or even working, with the views of the lush greenery and sounds of birds. Nancy is a very nice host, friendly, welcoming and kind, always willing to help and always available whenever we needed something. She is a lovely person who felt like family. We would love to return to this place someday.

A beautiful and very quiet place, with beautiful views towards the mountains and coffeehouses, the birdsong would wake us and we were able to observe them from the balcony.
