Earth house vacation rentals in Alajuela Province

The place was great! Alexander was nice and friendly, they even went overboard and got a new pack and play for us. The baby high chair was a nice bonus. The surrounding is beautiful, but if you come in the very wet season like us its a bit hard to walk on the trails. The only con was that my husband has a dust allergy, and the place has a lot of fabric that catches dust, and we haven’t seen that in the photos. But all and all great and recommended place!

We had the pleasure of staying at Kris and Marie’s Airbnb for two nights. Marie and Kris were both incredibly responsive and helpful with recommendations. They also made delicious breakfasts for us! Additionally, we got to do yoga with Marie, and we absolutely loved it. She has a beautiful space to practice yoga. In regard to the actual Airbnb space, it was amazing! The bed was comfortable, the space was beautifully built, and the views were amazing. We loved it and highly recommend this stay!

Monteverde holds a special place in our hearts. Three years ago, we got engaged here. Coming back and staying in the hobbit house for the second time has only deepened our love for this incredible destination. The hobbit house is straight out of a storybook. From the unique architecture to the cozy, thoughtfully designed interior, every detail feels magical. The surrounding nature provides a serene and peaceful ambiance, perfect for reconnecting with loved ones or simply soaking in the beauty of the cloud forest and sun. If you’re looking for a whimsical and unforgettable experience along with amazing host, we can’t recommend this hobbit house enough. It’s truly a place that will always feel like home.

Angelica’s home is a haven in the middle of the beautiful Costa Rican country side. She is such an incredible host and was extremely accommodating to my fiancé and myself. The home is located a few Kilos from Guayabo which is an awesome town with great restaurants and hot springs nearby. Angelica is such an incredible lady and served us breakfast the morning we checked out, her property is incredible and we could not have asked for a better first night to our trip in CR.

Beautiful and unique spot with plenty of space and excellent views! A bit of off roading required but our small sedan was able to handle it just fine! Highly recommended for couples or small groups as a home base for exploring Costa Rica

This place has to be in the top three places we've stayed in. We witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets ever, a starry night (which is un common in this part of the country) and the view to the lake is magnificent. The house has everything you need, it's very private, quiet. From the outside is very cute. We can't wait to come back and stay longer. Incredible place, excellent communication with Dennis. We felt better than at home. :-)
