Nonna is a great host with good communication and she is responsive to any questions you may have. Her home is very clean, organized, nicely furnished, and has some amazing views. We really enjoyed our stay there and Nonna provided some great suggestions that made our stay even more rewarding than it would otherwise have been. We're very glad we stayed there and would be happy to return in the future!

Leon was wonderful! Great, quiet place, pleasant hottub, and big comfy beds with soft linens. We left a headlamp there and Leon went above and beyond to get it back to us. Should be arriving in the next couple days. Thanks for everything, Leon! I will stay here again if I'm ever in the area again. Love the ample taxidermy decor!

This was our first time to Damascus, VA to ride the Virginia Creeper trail Trail. athe cabin is super secluded, and spacious. We had a super relaxed vacation. We will come back.

Raven Ridge is a gem of a property. The location on the mountain is private, peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful. A unique and wonderful experience to have had. We hope to visit again to experience the rhododendrons in bloom. We appreciate Bill sharing his amazing property.

Cozy Getaway Close to Town – Loved the Hot Tub! This cabin was the perfect little escape! It’s nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. The location is great — tucked just far enough away to feel private, but still only a short drive to town for groceries, restaurants, and a coffee run. The cabin itself is clean and comfortable. The bed was surprisingly comfy, and the kitchen had just enough to cook simple meals. The real highlight, though, was the hot tub. So nice to soak in it at night under the stars — super peaceful. If you’re looking for a chill spot to unwind with easy access to town, this cabin’s a solid choice.

It was beautiful. We saw wildlife and walked to the restaurants and shopping. The Virginia Creeper Train is right at the end of the driveway. It was wonderful that they accepted our dog. Even though we were secluded, everything was within walking distance. We were right in the heart of Abringdon. The only disappointment was the fact that we couldn’t stay longer.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the week of New Years. We wanted to get away from everything for the new year and celebrate with just the 2 of us. This property provided exactly what we were looking for. You can still see the effects from the hurricane but you can see how hard they are working to get everything back to normal but nonetheless the property is still beautiful and peaceful. We are already discussing to come back in the spring or summer to experience this beautiful property in the summer. I highly recommend anyone stay here.

This was our second time staying at this property in the main house, and it was absolutely fantastic again. I plan to come back again whenever I can find the time. The hosts are very kind and helpful, and there isnt a thing I would change about the house! I only wish I had more time there.

The home was cozy and pet friendly. Loved the cottage furnishings. Theresa was a gracious host who checked on us when we got there to let us know if we needed anything to call her. Check in and out was simple and easy. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed here for a week , had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Place is quiet with no neighbors and a small stream across the street . There is a cool old confederate era cemetery located a few hundred yards behind the house that the owner Danial gave us permission to go check out . Danial stopped by to introduce himself and make sure we had everything we needed . Donna who runs the Airbnb page for him was also very friendly and helpful and gave us some local food recommendations. This was perfect for us to fish the Watauga and about 25 minute drive to head up to fish the south Holston river . Hopefully we can stay here when we return to fish the area again .

This cabin is close to everything you need in Damascus, but we were so surprised with how private and secluded we felt! The cabins are tucked away off the main road, and there is a privacy tree buffer which adds to the woodsy feel. Although we had neighbors in the adjacent cabin, we could not see or hear them - the decks have great privacy screening. The back deck was by far our favorite place! It is incredibly spacious and we loved the 3 different seating options - swing, rocking chairs, or pub chairs & table. We walked down to the creek and had fun wading. It was wonderful to see and hear the creek and the cows from the deck. The screen door allowed us to sleep with the deck door open so we could hear the creek all night. It was heavenly! The cabin had everything we needed and was super clean. The jacuzzi tub was awesome after a day on the Creeper Trail. We were here two nights in September and had a perfect stay!

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway then this is the place to go. The scenery was beautiful and made you feel at peace. I would highly recommend staying at the Buffalo Bungalow and we will definitely be going back! Also the host were very friendly and when we had an issue with the tv they fixed it right away.

Glad I found this place. The peaceful water rushing from the stream with small cascades was just awesome from the porch. The hike to the falls was challenging but worth it. The proximity to parks, things to do and places to go, it was within an hour to our top destinations. it was also close to two towns within 25-40 minutes. Will definitely be going back.

We all enjoyed our stay at the house, Jan was a wonderful host and everything was described exactly as it was. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anybody coming to town!
