Vacation rentals in Washington County

This was our family’s second time staying at The Inn on Creeper Way and while five years have passed since our first time, it was exactly the same! Welcoming front porch, spacious, clean and comfortable. It was fun to see our oldest child remember the home and reminisce about our Thanksgiving trip and create new memories there during our spring break visit. The home is right on the VA Creeper Trail/AT which we love and rode bikes from Abingdon to Damascus outfitted by Adventure Damascus again! Make sure to eat at the Damascus Diner - delicious and wonderful staff!

We loved this charming apartment. The space was comfortable, very clean, and beautifully decorated. Dorata was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We would highly recommend staying here.

Even better than the photos! We spent most of our time on the patio with great seating, lovely view, hummingbirds visiting and in the fantastic hot tub! Our dogs LOVED the open grass to run in. The beds were comfy and cozy and the kitchen/bathroom were very well stocked.

If someone wants to come back, you know you hit the mark! We are definitely rebooking for future travel and recommend anyone looking for a nice spot near a river with easy access to outdoor activities and a place that you feel so comfortable in that you forget your traveling, go ahead and plan a stay here.

We had a lovely weekend in Damascus with family! The house was situated on the edge of town but easily within walking distance of restaurants, the park, and bike rentals for the creeper trail. It was quiet and lovely, and we loved being right by the Appalachian Trail. The house was as described, clean, and sweetly decorated. The only unexpected challenge was realizing that one of the two bathrooms was only accessible through a bedroom, which might be good for couples to know about, but overall we absolutely loved it. Hosts were proactive in communication and easy to work with. Hoping we can come back again!

The Nest had absolutely anything you could possibly need and more ready. In just a couple of minutes I was at my favorite spots on Main St. Janice was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. I loved hearing the birds in the morning and looking out at all the beautiful greenery. Thank you Janice!

We recently stayed at the Rambo house before taking off on a section hike, and it was a fantastic experience. The house itself is great, offering comfortable accommodations and a nice facility that made our stay enjoyable. Its location is perfect, with easy access to Damascus , allowing us to explore the area effortlessly. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay.

Fancy's place was an awesome place to stay.. even tho hurricane Helene just had hit them, we drove all the way from Florida to come help restore power to their town and she still was able to make home feel like home... after a long and hectic day of work, I'm glad I can have my husband come home to a hot shower, cooked meal, clean clothes and a comfy bed to lay in.. she was very helpful in ways she doesn't even know.. thanks Fancy ❤️

Christina and Vickie were amazing hosts! The property was spotless and tidy! Very modern, very cozy. Lots of space and privacy. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. One of the cleanest places we have stayed. There is a grocery store less than 5 minutes from the property. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be coming back! Damascus is a small quaint town with an old soul feel. Lots of historical sights and walking trails. For food we recommend Greeko’s in Abingdon.
