Beech Mountain vacation rentals

We had a great stay at the Plumtree Cabin, it was nice to journey through the mountains and find ourselves in a private Cabin next to a farm. We were also welcomed by a family of 7 deer each night of our stay. Very affordable and comfortable cabin. Will definitely keep in mind for future travels.

quaint easy to find cabin, 10 minutes from the world and far enough away to feel alone in the woods. House had everything we needed. Instructions were great and you can tell the host care about the property

We had a great time at Buttermilk Acres. The place is beautiful and a lovely get away into nature. The showers were awesome and bathroom was close to the cabin so going outside wasn’t a bother at all (even at 8 months pregnant!)

We had a great stay! The directions that Rachel were perfect and helped us have no issue finding the cabin - even when we arrived at night. We were prepared with a 4WD vehicle due to predicted snow while we were there, and it worked out well with the 1”-2” they got. The “driveway” and road leading to the cabin is a narrow, curvy, steep, one-lane gravel road, but for us (from a small rural town) it was no big deal, and it wouldn’t be for anyone in the non-snowy months. The space was clean and had a nice view! Beds were comfortable and clean. Rachel was quick to respond to questions or concerns. We appreciate her sharing their space with us!

This place is just wonderful! The cabin looks even better in person than in the pictures. And smelled amazing haha. The area around the cabin is still somewhat recovering from the Helene floods, but they’ve done a ton of work to get it back to its original state. The springtime will bring back a lot of growth I’m sure The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, which we appreciated. There were amazingly soft robes and blankets to relax in. Easy access to Linville Gorge and its trail system, if you’re looking for hiking in the area We spent probably too much time in the hot tub listening to the water. So relaxing. We will be back again for sure!

We have never stayed at an Air BNB before. This was a great first experience! We loved staying here for our kids spring break. The boys loved the game room downstairs. It was close to Boone and Blowing Rock and lots to do. The directions were very organized. Lauren checked to see how we were doing. I would definitely recommend!

Had a very nice getaway at the Maybell house! The property was private, peaceful and very clean. The house is not far from shops and restaurants. Would definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay and thoroughly enjoyed the front yard for all day sledding! The house was spacious - perfect for our four families! Most importantly, the hosts were super friendly and responsive to any questions we had! We will definitely be back to enjoy the river in the summer!!

Adam and Debra were great hosts - they were extremely flexible and understanding when we were concerned we'd have to cancel our trip due to the snow/roads. Thankfully we were still able to visit Boone for our scheduled weekend, and we had a great time! The house is so close to downtown you could walk there (we didn't, just due to time). They're right across from App Cookie Co (AMAZING cookies and coffee), and the house was amazing. Will definitely book with them again :)

I booked this place for a weekend of solitude—to quiet the noise, clear my head, and get back to center. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had chosen well. The space is peaceful and thoughtfully designed, surrounded by the kind of natural beauty that invites you to slow down and breathe a little deeper. Mornings were quiet and still, evenings soft and reflective. It was exactly the reset I needed. If you’re looking for a space to step away from the chaos and reconnect with yourself, I can’t recommend this place enough.

Another great Winter stay at Got Rocks! We’ve stayed here many times before and we’ve always enjoyed the proximity to the things we enjoy nearby such as skiing, wineries, groceries, restaurants, etc. there is lots of space to spread out, and everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals whenever we wanted. Thanks again Wesley for letting us use your place!

The bed is amazing and location is walkable to restaurants, shops and university. Earthfare is close for groceries, etc. Denise is friendly and responsive and finding the place is a straight shot when arriving to Boone. Parking is easy and convenient to right into the cottage. Everything you need is in the house and spotless.

Beautiful home, very comfortable for groups that seek private bedrooms. Also has very comfortable mattresses (some very firm, which I like). Close to Beech Mountain ski resort & beautiful views. Kitchen, dining & living area all open with a ton of windows. We really enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful location that felt very peaceful and our daughter loved all of the amenities. We'll definitely be back.

Such a cute place! It was a perfect stay while dropping my son back off at college after spring break. Place is clean and there are portable heaters available, because it gets cold in the mountains. My son and I enjoyed playing darts. I would’ve loved to stay there a few days, but I was only in town for a short bit. The only thing I didn’t like was having to take the garbage down the road after checkout, but I understand that it’s because of the wild animals. Would definitely stay again, and it’s now on my list for favorite places near Boone.

We took a trip to the mountains for some late season snowboarding. We did 1 day at Sugar Mountain (approx 20 min drive from here) and 1 day at Beech mountain (easy walk/1min drive to from here). The space worked for what we needed which ultimately was a bed to sleep in between days on the mountain. We did not use much of the space except for the toaster for morning bagels and the fridge for storing drinks. The location/access to Beech Mountain is the real selling point for this place. I'm not a fan of Airbnb's charging cleaning fees greater than $25 AND requesting that you check off cleaning tasks beyond leaving the place is a reasonable state such as putting things back where you found them, collect used towels/linens, etc but recognize this may be a personal preference. I'm happy to pay a cleaning fee but would expect to do fewer cleaning tasks at check out in exchange.

Excellent place to stay if you want a mountain cabin vibe but with a modern twist. feels safe cuz it’s a gated neighborhood and you have a couple neighbors. great views of greenery. saw lots of elk and turkey on the property. perfect for a small family or couple getaway. close to banner elk downtown. there is a graveyard next to the fire pit but wasn’t a big concern.

Great location! It’s a very comfortable place to stay. We love the restaurants, shopping, hiking and views in the area.

Great communication, clear and concise instructions for check in and check out. Lots of thoughtful amenities provided, even treats for our pups. Kitchen is fully stocked and bathroom products are provided. Great place to get away, but close enough to all the area has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay for the night we were there. The owners were always very responsive and nice. The house was clean and the master bed was comfortable. The only downside is that we had to pay $211 for just a night stay, so I would say that it is overpriced for the place. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
