House vacation rentals in Zanzibar

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went over the Xmas holidays in December, and it was very, very hot and humid. The pool was a refreshing oasis, meticulously taken care of with regular water refills. Regular power cuts meant that we were sometimes left without fans at night, which made it a little bit more difficult. The house's perfect location allowed easy access to the beach and the charming Paje area. The local house manager, made sure we got all the needed supplies with ease, for cooking, eating, drinking, bbq'ing. Karin and Co are wonderful hosts. Their home is exactly as described, and we highly recommend it for families with kids.

Cynthia's home was perfect for our family. Home was exactly as what was in the picture. Upstairs area of home was open, bright, and welcoming. Ester rhe housekeeper was very accommodating, what ever we needed, she would make it happen. The clear glistening pool was my getaway spot. The home was in a quiet area, but only a few minutes from shopping, this was the perfect location for us. I would definitely recommend this home.

The villa is in immaculate condition, the service provided by the Host and the staff was excellent 👏 i will recommend everyone to book this place when visiting Paje.

The house is amazing, bedrooms , bathrooms and pool. The staff is also amazing, making everything possible to help, the chef service was very good and Patrick helped a lot managing to get our transfers during the stay.

City center accessible in less than 10 minutes on foot, accommodation as described. Diana and Omary were very flexible with our check-in and check-out times, in addition to being always available to answer our questions. Thanks!

This villa was amazing although my only complaint was the comfort of the beds mattress was a bit stiff and uncomfortable. Staff was really nice! Celebrated my birthday and they did an amazing job decorating! Thanks again!

Staying by the beach is magical! The terrace is super cozy. Inside it is a bit dark but all the more reason to spend time on the terrace.

We were in the villa for 4 nights. It was just perfect. The house is new and it is really cozy. A nice external area with a delicious shower. Roger and the team are really supportive and nice, always available to respond to our requests! Jambiani is a great place to stay on the island! We will love to come back in the future! Absolutely recommended.

Maria's place was lovely, peaceful and relaxing Easy close walk to beautiful beach and plenty of good restaurants. The two dogs were friendly, sweet and calm and despite other reviews did not follow us out of the complex. We always felt safe and secure as the local staff was always on hand if we needed anything and Maria was always very responsive if we had any questions. If you don't keep a car I would recommend you stop on your way for any needed groceries (Coffee, Tea, snacks, soaps etc.) and ATM as many restaurants prefer cash. We would definitely recommend Maria's place if you are looking for a relaxing peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle.

Hanna, Inès and I thank you very much for this unique welcome. The setting is sublime, Paulette and Didier took great care of us. We felt like we were at home. Paulette was able to meet our needs and prepared an excellent feast for us (Congolese/Swahili specialty) with fresh produce. Her kitchen is done with love and care. The decoration of each bedroom and shared living room is beautiful. We will come back without hesitation and we recommend this guesthouse. See you soon!!

Magnolia Villa liegt perfect. Right on the wide white beach of Matemwe and yet quiet and private. The rooms are large and spacious. The kitchen equipped with everything you need. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and can recommend the place.

Amazing place ! Still in awe ! Kizimkazi is a beautiful place filled with beautiful souls and this house was the perfect place to enjoy all of this. Very private and calm! Orit is an amazing host, helpful and nice (even brought us to a local bar the first night !!) I totally recommend !! Would go back in a heartbeat

We were 3 friends (aged 32-40) and really enjoyed our stay, especially the beautiful garden and the amazing hospitality from the Massai Emmanuel. He supported us with everything we needed / questions we had. The entire property was incredibly clean and we had a good night sleep due the ceiling fans, the main road in front wasn't an issue for us. Be aware that the location is not directly at the beach and you need a TukTuk, Scooter or Cab if you want to reach e.g. Paje (5 minute drive). Check-In and Check-Out was super easy, too. We could leave our luggage before our departure and it was in good hands with Emmanuel. 2 nights were really too short, we would definitely book the Airbnb again :). Asante sana!

Me and my family had a wonderful stay at Maksud’s house. On arrival, we were unable to find the location due to getting mixed up to which Fumba the house was in. However Maksud was easy to reach and we were able to get directions. On arrival, we were met by Shaban the caretaker who was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed about the house. Shaban too gave us a tour around the gated community which was helpful. The house had all the supplies needed such as cutlery, toilet roll, washing powder and electric to last a few days. Within the gated community there is great security, supermarket and other stores and restaurants. Throughout the stay, there were entertainment each night which we were made aware of and other extra curricular activities. Whenever we needed any help or needed questions answered, Shaban was easy to reach and super helpful and friendly. The house itself was modern, clean and just like the photos! As was the pool! We would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time at Pano's Beach Villa! The location was perfect, we rented our own car and it was easy to find. We loved driving to Stone Town but being able to go back to our secluded and safe villa. Check in was simple and the book of instructions was very clear. We had one question and Pano picked up his phone immediately. The beach in front of the villa was amazing. Was paradise walking along the water every morning and evening. We were lucky to be here during a full moon, the nights were amazing! I highly recommend going to Zanzibar, and if you do, I highly recommend Pano's Beach Villa. Very clean, comfortable and safe. What else can you want.

Wonderful large airbnb in prime location just few minutes from all needs. One minute from the beach is an understatement as it practically sits at the back door.
