Was a great stay and a great location close to the lake

Super comfortable and homey cottage located in quiet neighborhood, though with frequent train whistles. Many amenities were provided in kitchen and bathroom, so if you've forgotten something you are probably in luck. Though the cottage is old, is updated well and appliances are newish. Located near the edge of the main residential area, the main downtown commercial area is about a 10-15 min walk though the rich historically fascinating center of Jefferson. Would definitely stay again.

Not adequate words in the English language to describe how blessed and thankful I am to have been able to stay in such a beautiful home in such a beautiful part of the Texas hill country! The lovely Civil War town of Jefferson is close by with lots of antique shops and great eateries. My dogs and I will miss being on the farm. I will especially miss "Miss Jenny", who welcomed me every morning with a loud "bray"! Hosts David and Sharla, although not on the property, are very "hands on" and the comfort of their guests are a priority with them. Thank you both for a wonderful peaceful week! God bless!

The amenities were spot on, house was beautiful and spacious with a fantastic price! We will rent again, as we visit Jefferson 3-4 times a year.
