First Cast has all the amenities you would expect (and more) in a beautiful location. I really appreciate all the extra thoughtfulness they have put into making this such a premier place on the lake. I was looking for a location to stop with my dogs on our way to our new home. I wanted a location that was safe and quiet, and Richard's home surpassed that. They have thought of every detail for you and your fur baby. I felt completely safe, and slept amazing. Would recommend for anyone to stay.

We have stayed at Debra and Raymond's a few times and it is always wonderful. They're great hosts, don't invade your space to relax and are always right there when you need them. We can bring our pup and you can see deer morning and night. My husband left my clothes in a drawer one stay and I drove out there to get them as soon as I was able to. Debra had her friend meet me there to retrieve my items. The house is always clean and we will absolutely stay there again. Fantastic views and fishing on Lake O' the Pines with a floating dock that is perfect for fishing, listening to music or reading a book, and just chillin! We love this place!

If your coming to spend time on the water or at the beach. it's the perfect location with gas food and dollar store right by the house. 2 boat ramps at state parks right down the road. 15 miss from Jefferson.

Elaine is an awesome host. My wife and I originally booked this for ourselves because we loved this place when we stayed here before. We recently found an apartment to rent in the historic district so we no longer needed it for ourselves and my wife’s parents used it in our place. Elaine made the name switch for us and my wife’s parents fell in love with the place. Everything about their stay was perfect. As a matter of fact I just booked it again and this time my parents will get to enjoy this beautiful place in May.

The cottage was very peaceful and so convenient to the town. Loved the quirky ambience. So much to discover. Anna was nice enough to let me check in early. I would definitely stay here again.
