What a fabulous stay we've had. The location is great. We were 3 generations and loved the accomodation, perfect both inside and out. It was great to have the field to play on and a patio front and back. Also the access to Holsworthy and the beach were easy, as stated. The hosts were very welcoming and happy to chat and give suggestions,eg. best beach for ... We were already speaking of another visit on our drive home .

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Owl's Retreat, hosted by the wonderful Lee & Julie, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment of arrival, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality, making us feel right at home. The retreat itself is a charming, secluded escape surrounded by beautiful farmland, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The attention to detail in the accommodation was impeccable—everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable stay. The space is full of character, blending rustic charm with modern conveniences. Lee & Julie were fantastic hosts, always available if needed but never intrusive. Their local recommendations were spot on, helping us make the most of my time in the area. Whether it was exploring nearby countryside walks or simply relaxing in the serene surroundings, our stay was nothing short of perfect. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway with top-notch hospitality, Owl’s Retreat is the place.

We stayed at Heather’s place with a group of six plus our dog, and had a great experience! Heather was super responsive and friendly throughout. The home had a really unique and peaceful view overlooking a pond and a hill, which made for a lovely setting. The garden was beautiful and well-kept, and the bedrooms were a good size — very comfortable for all of us. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If we had to suggest one improvement, it would be to update some of the cookware, but overall, everything was great. We’d definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!
