We had an amazing stay at this peaceful cabin in the nature. The location was incredibly quiet and relaxing — the perfect escape from the city. The hot tub was a dream, especially at night under the stars, and the smoker was top-notch for preparing delicious BBQ. The cabin was spotless and everything was easy to find. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need, including thoughtful extras for BBQ supplies. You can tell the hosts really put care into every detail. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature with all the comforts of home — and then some!

We were impressed by the cleanliness and open feeling of the place. It was a little smaller than we expected and had very limited seating but fit our group of 3 ok. I can’t imagine it being comfortable for a larger group though unless you’re only using the place to sleep! Overall it was a pleasant experience, beds were comfortable, kitchen well-appointed and the hot tub was nice, but we did feel that the price, once the cleaning fee was added on, was a little steep.

Amazing host, the cabins were incredible and the surrounding trees and lighting was beautiful. The whole experience felt magical.

My friends and I booked this for a girls trip for a weekend and it was just perfect. So quiet and cozy and we watched old Disney movies on VCR all weekend!!! The place was so cute and clean. The lake is beautiful and the hot tub is amazing. There isn’t a lot nearby, but we didn’t need to do much for our trip so it worked out nicely. Cherie is a great host and always responded quickly if we needed anything. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

Just a beautiful home with a gorgeous view! The view to the river was like being on a boat! We gathered our family together to celebrate our mother's 80th. birthday, and the accommodations could not have been better. Everything was beautifully appointed, the beds very comfortable and all our needs taken care of! They have done a fantastic job making this home beautiful yet comfortable and accessible. I highly recommend!

My sister and I stayed at this beautiful cabin on the lake for a "sisters weekend". We do this a couple of times a year and this was by far our favorite place yet! I recently had hip surgery, so the hot tub was incredible for therapy but also just to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery! You get an amazing view of the lake from anywhere in the back of the house. The place had everything we needed and more. There is a bar and grill down the road with good food and bloody marys, and a nice grocery store not far from that. If you travel into Lakewood, there are several little shops that aren't so little when you get inside! I definitely recommend going into the coffee shop! Between exploring the area and the things there are to do at the house, we wish we would have had a couple more days! Highly recommend this place! Tons of room and would be good for kids! Casey was an amazing and proactive host- one of the best I have had the pleasure to work with. I hope to be back in the near future

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! From the booking to anything we needed and Larry is an awesome host! The lake, the camp fire and the cabin, is all very nice and welcoming. Infinite stars from us! My family loved it! You can stay by the lake all day and hang out and you’ll never get bored. Creed (our four legged child), loved the place as well and he was happy as a clam the whole time. We couldn’t ask for a better lake house to go to and we are definitely coming back! Larry, thank you so much! You are truly and an amazing host!

Kathy’s place is perfect for a north woods getaway. We snowmobiled, and even though there is no trail at the end of the driveway, there is a public boat launch that provides access to the chain of lakes just a couple of houses over and easy to get to. The place has everything you need and just the right amount of tucked away but still close to town. Kathy is nearby and willing to help with anything that comes up. 10/10

Fantastic hosts with fantastic little cabin. Absolutely loved my stay. Super cozy and warm during the coldest snap of the year! Would be even better in the summer with the beautiful location, outdoor amenities, and classic cabin on the lake!

This air bnb was exactly as described in the listing. We came into town to cook an Easter meal for our son who attends a local university. We were able to execute that without a flaw! There were enough utensils and cookware. We had a nice relaxing time and also had our small black lab with us as well. As stated in previous reviews, the cabin is situated off a busy road. The traffic noise did not bother us at all. The cabin for our needs for a two nite sty and was not far from La Crosse! Communication from the host was excellent.

We loved our stay at Michael & Anna’s place—it was very accessible to local attractions but still felt super peaceful and private. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and cozy—we enjoyed relaxing indoors with the beautiful lake view and also outdoors on the spacious patio which offered an inflatable hot tub and fire pit. Michael also left great recommendations for local spots and hiking which we took advantage of. Such a relaxing getaway and would highly recommend! Thanks for the great stay!

This is a lovely place for a getaway. Very cozy on chilly days when we were there, and beautiful outdoor space when it warmed up. We loved the variety of wildlife to watch and listen to along the river and watching the tug boat moving barges across the way.

We had a nice peaceful stay. The area is beautiful. We enjoyed using the paddle boat and fishing off the pier. We saw 3 deer, black squirrels and a grouse on our walks. Laura got back to us right away when we had any questions or concerns.

The cozy cottage was exactly as described. Everything in order and very clean. I especially liked the touches of creativity artfully placed. The kitchen had everything we needed for light cooking. Keurig was awesome. Bed linens excellent! So comfy! We are looking forward to coming back to the cozy cottage. Love the farm surroundings. Very peaceful. Thank you for the pleasant stay. Will recommend and definitely book again.

very nice stay. older dated cabin, but clean, and for the price and being on a lake, you can't beat it! will definitely stay again!! Crystal is very responsive. Beautiful trees and shaded, if it's hot, which it was during our stay. Beach was nice!

Enjoyed a spectacular 4 day weekend with 3 generations at this beautiful property and would come back. For those who had concerns about the “stairs,” they are more like terraces and most can be avoided with a short detour. We enjoyed 2 fishing piers, kayaks, aluminum boat and the paddle boat. Highly recommended.

Jay was an awesome host! We booked our traveler at Jay's property last minute for her shifts at a local medical facility. He extended our traveler's check-out time, so she could sleep after she was called into the hospital for a night shift. We appreciate Jay's communication and flexibility, and strongly recommend this property!

We just spent the weekend at Rachel's home in Horicon, Wi. with our adult granddaughters. We loved it!! It was so cozy and welcoming. We felt instantly at home. Every room was immaculate. The 3 bedrooms were lovely and a very nice size! The beds were oh, so, comfortable and the bedding choices of sheets and comforters on each bed were beautiful. Wifi was great! Very clean kitchen and well stocked. We had no problem making a nice meal and eating on the large dining table. We would definitely like to stay again when we are in the area.
