Vacation rentals with breakfast in Wisconsin River

Classic Madison home in walking distance to parks and lunch spots. Conveniently located near the isthmus, but in a family-friendly neighborhood, near parks with glacial land features.

Crystal was an excellent host. The listing was in a great location for our visit and the value was great! We had my three kids under the same roof and had ample space to not be all over each other. The place was well appointed….and although we don’t have little kids, there was even items for them to play with. The house was very clean and the rest of my family when visiting us were impressed as well. I’ll certainly keep Crystal in mind the next time I travel to Wisconsin!

My husband and I planned a very impromptu trip to the driftless area with the hopes of including our adult son during our stay. Everything went amazingly smooth. Brian goes well above and beyond when it comes to hospitality. We did not lack for anything during our stay and in fact were surprised with many extras. Outdoor opportunities abound and each small town exhibits its own unique personality. Although the House on the Rock was a mind-blowing, portal traveling experience and worth every cent, Brian's house on the ridge was just as mind-blowing. The amenities, along with the beauty and peace provided the perfect setting to visit, reconnect over Scrabble (brought from home), and just hang out! Highly, highly recommend Brian's house on the ridge!

We had a great weekend full of ice fishing and family time! The kitchen and living room are quite large, giving us plenty of room for meals and games. We would definitely recommend it.

Our family needed a place with plenty of sleeping space for our larger group. We were able to easily accomodate everyone with plenty of room for sleeping and several bathrooms. We made all of our meals in the kitchen and used the large kitchen table for both dining as well as game playing. Had it been a little warmer we would have spent time outside enjoying the quiet woods, but as it was we enjoyed watching the squirrels jump from tree to tree and some woodpeckers -- all in sight from the back windows. It was a great convenience to have access to a Tesla charger as well.

Extremely clean, great location, great neighborhood.. Extremely pleased and thankful with the communication with the owner. Highly recommend the house and will request it again if i need a place within 30 minutes of the house.

Perfect place to stay if your ever in or near the Oshkosh area. So clean, and simple plenty of space and super comfy couches. Katie was a great host and very easy and quick to get in touch with. The AirBNB is little off the map, out in the country, with not much cell service or wifi, which didn’t phase our group at all so if you are wanting to or ok to get off the grid for a while this spot is perfect for you. Super cozy, extremely comfy beds and beautiful nights sky when its clear. If we come back to Oshkosh, we will definitely stay with Katie again.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this cozy, historic house. The place was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked with snacks. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and full of amenities within walking distance, making it a pleasure to explore. From the communication leading up to our stay to the smooth checkout process, everything about this experience was fantastic. I give it my highest recommendation!

Our last minute stay with Deborah was fantastic! She was extremely accommodating with our late check-in, and made a delicious breakfast for us in the morning. The pool and hot tub were a big bonus we unfortunately did not get to take advantage of, but maybe next time! The suite we stayed in was pristine with a wonderful jacuzzi.

A great place to stay if just looking for a place to crash! They are planning to do some renovations soon and we definitely will be back to check them out . The parking situation was difficult but we found a parking garage about a 10 minute walk away and all was well. Overall we had a great stay and will be back :)

Loved my stay there ! It’s close to the hospital so I stay when I have treatment I bring a book and soak an amazing bubble bath . It’s close to good restaurants and it was so clean and the breakfast is to die for so good . Love that it’s a kid free area and you can honestly relax . Definitely will be back again soon . Thanks Lisa for the great night .

My stay was nothing short of exceptional. The hosts went above and beyond to make me feel at home, and the cozy atmosphere made it feel like I was staying at my grandparents' country house—warm, personal, and welcoming. The interior is beautifully authentic and gives the place a unique charm. Every detail was carefully thought out, and there were so many little extras I didn’t expect, like snacks packed for my early departure and always available complimentary hot/cold water. The hosts adjusted breakfast to accommodate any dietary preferences or allergies, which made me feel incredibly cared for. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Steam Punk Manor is awyas a great place to stay. The rooms are amazingly decorated, the host is friendly and the breakfast in the morning is phenomenal.

Dorothy was so kind and flexible in our arrival. We enjoyed a beautiful fire in the evening and the room was so comfortable, cozy and clean. The farm area is so gorgeous and peaceful. Enjoyed our morning coffe on the front porch and she made pumpkin french toast for breakfast. A lovely getway that was very peaceful and a great value.

Cindy greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived and made us feel at home. We walked around the farm a bit and enjoyed their animals. Cindy told us about several nearby places to visit as well as local restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Grandad Bluff (one of the highlights of our trip)- it had stunning views and we wouldn't have known about it if it weren't for Cindy telling us. This is a working farm with a very old farmhouse, so the doors stick and don't always close tightly, but that added to the charm and we felt very safe there. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and filling - a great way to end our stay. We would recommend this place and think it would be really fun for families with young children.
