Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Wiltshire

We had an incredible stay. Ann really made us feel at home, and the house is amazing. Lots of space for a group of 7 adults and 1 toddler. The hot tub and pool really made our weekend extra special.

If you're looking for the perfect rural escape in England, Jonathon's place in the village of Shrewton, Wiltshire, is a gem. We spent three days there and honestly didn’t want to leave. Staying there felt like stepping into an episode of Escape to the Country. The cottage itself is charming and spacious, with two very large bedrooms featuring incredibly comfortable beds. The front room, complete with a working fireplace, also has a sofa bed. The showers were warm and refreshing, and the fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare delicious meals. For travelers, having access to a user-friendly washer and dryer was a huge bonus. One of the highlights is the picturesque setting. A running river right outside the front door adds to the serene atmosphere. The village of Shrewton is quaint and convenient, with a small supermarket just a five-minute walk away. Plus, the location is fantastic for sightseeing—Stonehenge is literally 9 minutes away, and the beautiful city of Bath close by.

Beautiful property. Rooms were very spacious and well equipped. Rooms are conveniently arranged around a central courtyard making it very easy to move between them. Several log burners throughout the property with logs and kindling provided, which really added to the cosiness - not to mention the wood-fired hot tub and pizza oven! Sofabeds also large (doubles) and comfortable with bedding provided. Plenty of outside space to enjoy. A fantastic stay.

Beautiful clean place with a lovely lake view. Peaceful area with lots to do nearby! Relaxing winter break! Would definitely be going back!

We loved our stay in this stunning home! Two fab pubs just outside which had been recommended to us by the host, along with lots of other helpful tips. Parking wasn't too much of an issue for us, but be warned the village was quite crowded with tourists, even at this time of year. Didn't bother us too much but we weren't really expecting it! We loved the house and really loved that there were some logs left so that we could have a cosy fire in the log burner. Stairs are a bit of a death trap (this was to our amusement) but host had warned us about those so we were aware of what we were getting ourselves into! People with limited mobility would need to take this into account when booking. Really appreciated we were able to bring a dog too, and there were some lovely walks around the area, umbrellas and wellies were at the property which was also really helpful. Overall a really beautiful unique property, ideal for a cosy winter stay!

Jan and Jamie's house is part of a great community with excellent amenities! We were here over a Christmas holiday and unfortunately many of the awesome things around (archery, the waterpark, pools, onsite gym on holidays) were closed. The appeal of this spot in the summer was well noted! House and location are great - just double check which gate Google Maps is taking you to in case you arrive in the dark!

House was lovely. We spent Christmas week with multi generational family and it was perfect. Plenty of room and very comfortable. House was exactly as expected with lots of great amenities and tidy. We were able to prepare a full Christmas meal with everything there!. Lots of beautiful villages to explore nearby. Jan and Jamie were responsive and friendly and stopped by to make sure we were comfortable and settled. Definitely recommend.

We had such a fabulous weekend at Otter's Holt celebrating my brother's 50th. The house is beautiful with wonderful views and extremely well appointed -we had everything we needed. Lorraine was very responsive when we had some problems that we needed help with. We all loved the outdoor pools at the spa and the kids enjoyed hiring canoes to paddle across Howell's Mere. We hope to visit again.

We had a great stay in this beautiful home. The house was spacious yet had a really cosy feel to it. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend staying here.

The accommodation was perfect for our family of 9, plenty of space, it was well appointed and there was a good choice of cooking utensils, pots and pans etc. Although we didn’t use the outside space much due to the weather the hot tub was great. The hosts were very responsive and sorted out a couple of minor issues swiftly.

The place matched and exceeded the description and photos. It was exceptionally clean upon our arrival and well decorated. There was an abundance of cutlery, utensils, dinnerware, etc. Management company were extremely communicative before and through-out. Would 100% recommend this house for future traveler's.

Just arrived home after a wonderful stay at this little lodge. Exactly as described in the listing/photos, and Tracey had even set out some little Christmas decorations to make it feel more festive and homely (as we were there for Christmas). The new park facilities (soft play & swimming pool) are FANTASTIC for kids, we were there with our 18 month old and he loved it, but there was loads for older children too. The shop on the site isn’t open between November & February but there’s a co-op a mile away, and we didn’t eat at the restaurant onsite because we went out to some nice local pubs, but it looked nice enough. The lodge is in a really nice position not really overlooked by anyone else, and felt very spacious & homely (with proper central heating too). The hot tub was also a winner! The kitchen is fully equipped and the TV has ALL the apps plus regular freeview TV channels too (I read an earlier review that said no normal TV but this must have been updated!).

We both had a lovely stay at Otter 4 lodge! We arrived a little earlier than the stated check in but Luke was on hand to let us in as the lodge was ready. The lodge was great and the hot tub was a fantastic extra for ultimate relaxation overlooking the pond. There are geese on the pond which can be a little noisy, but that is part of being in the countryside and we loved it and added something a little special to our stay. There is also a lovely pub a stones throw away (you can see this from the lodge) and is definitely worth a visit, the food was delicious! We didn't really leave the lodge except to go for a walk around the area. If you go right out of Hunters lodge there are beautiful nature reserves and we even spotted a Muntjac deer! There are also a few geocaches, if this is your thing. Definitely recommend Hunters moon for a relaxing break away. Thank you for having us :)

A really beautiful spot with lovely views of woodland, perfect for a calming weekend away. We came on a cold winter weekend and it was nice and cosy inside with the electric heater on. The outdoor bath was a great experience! David was a very friendly and responsive host.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Piggywood. The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful and the views around (even during a storm!) are amazing. Billie was so helpful and we’re already making plans to try and visit again in the summer. My only flag (and it’s absolutely not a complaint!) is for future guests to be aware of the hill down to the cabin. We went during a storm so the hill became very slippy and muddy which wasn’t easy when carrying all your things in a wheelbarrow due to your car being ten minutes away - pack wellies for sure! But please do not let that put you off because it’s just in winter months it’ll be like that and the place is so so worth it!

We had a lovely break. The caravan is very comfortable and clean. The beds were nice and we had everything we needed. The caravan is in a great location on the site - plenty of room around us and we didn't feel overlooked. It was also good to have parking right next to the caravan. The best part was the hot tub - really lovely to have. The park itself is really nice - clean and safe. The facilities are great - especially for the kids and there was good entertainment in the evening. There were also some lovely walks for the dog. Tracey was really quick at responding and was a great host. We will be back and really recommend the space and the site.
