Wow I can’t recommend enough! THAT VIEW!! Maggie went above and beyond to make my month-long stay in BOA unforgettable. I just moved to the UK and this was the perfect start to my journey. The home was cozy, well-appointed, and ideally located for exploring the beautiful countryside and nearby towns. She shared so much local knowledge, making me feel like part of the community. Some highlights and ideas for future guests: Walk from BOA to Bath and daydream about living in a canal boat Visit the Roman Baths: Step back in time and see how the Romans used to spa day Catch a rugby game: Whether in Bristol or Bath, the energy is electric. (Bonus: American icon Ilona Maher plays for Bristol!) Indulge in Thermae Bath Spa: epic rooftop pool with stunning views (not as good as Maggie's place though) Enjoy a show at the Theatre Royal Bath or Bristol Hippodrome Campwell sauna/cold plunge: rustic, peaceful, and 5 min drive away Still more to do and I cannot wait to return! I’ve had a wonderful stay on the Barrow Farm in this barn. It’s extremely well equipped, very comfortable size & the personal touches make it feel homely right away. Perfect for a quiet stay and many local recommendations are provided!
