Pilot Cove offered my family of 4 (plus dog) a wonderful experience at the doorstep to Pisgah and Brevard. Loved being close to the Hub and the food and coffee truck at the bottom of the hill were great. I enjoyed drinking an Americano from the coffee truck on my way into the Forest or after a long trail run on the Art Loeb trail. The walking trails on the property were the perfect place to walk the dog (though several downed trees cross the path). The house was simple but fit ours needs as we spent most of our time outdoors. Overall we loved Pilot Cove and will be back!

Cute little cabin in a peaceful spot just outside of Pisgah National Forrest. Close to delicious food trucks and even downtown Brevard. We were able to rest and enjoy equally with this stay.

This year was the second year my group and I stayed with Lake Norris Chalets. They were completely painless to work with both years and are very responsive to any questions you may have. Their homes are precisely as described in the descriptions. One huge perk about renting with Lake Norris Chalets, if you are in one of their homes with a dock, and you rent a boat from them they will deliver the boat to the home, fueled up and ready to go. This is a great service that frees up a lot of time you would spend going to the marina, filling out all the paperwork and getting the boat back to your place. I would recommend Lake Norris Chalets time and time again for anyone looking to have a great weekend on the lake!

The Pilot Cove cabin was a wonderful spot; we visited the Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, and the Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville! I highly recommend this lovely location!

This space was amazing! It was the perfect lowkey retreat that isn’t tooo isolated. The cabin was spotless and modern. Pre-communication was very detailed and the instructions were clear to find the place. We will definitely be returning for another weekend away!

My husband and I recently stayed at Pilot Cove, seeking some much-needed relaxation and a chance to connect with nature. This retreat was everything we hoped for and more. The room was incredibly comfortable, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that made our stay truly rejuvenating. One of the highlights of our stay was the fully equipped kitchen. It was fantastic to have the option to cook our own meals, which not only added a homey feel to our stay but also helped us save money on dining out. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was a wonderful surprise. While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and the floors needed a good vacuuming. However, these were minor issues in the grand scheme of things. Overall, Pilot Cove provided us with a perfect getaway. We left feeling relaxed and reconnected with nature. We will definitely be returning and recommend it to others.

Was upset at first because they informed us the day of our arrival that the hottub broke but they were very caring and accommodated us for it and took action to fix it right away. The only thing is make sure you bring extra supplies like garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. as they only supply one of each. Also lots of geese droppings walking down to water but goes with being on a lake. Make sure you check your GPS settings so it doesn't take you backroads, learned that one. No garage so vehicle gets very hot, sunshade helps and deck is hot, no umbrella for shade to sit out at table. Overall beautiful place and Gunner was pleasant and pleasure to deal with any issues we had.

Katie, the exceptionally friendly and highly responsive host, ensures a smooth and enjoyable stay. The surrounding mountains and streams provide a serene backdrop, while the snow adds a magical touch to the experience. It’s truly a perfect getaway! To top it off, Katie even gifted us a bottle of her very own Barn Door Cider, which was a delightful surprise. When our work assignment unexpectedly ended early, Katie went above and beyond by working tirelessly to help us figure out the remaining days of our stay within 24 hours. If you’re seeking a real-life Hallmark movie town, this is the place to be. I highly recommend visiting again on my next vacation.

John's place was perfect for my purposes! I was looking for a place in which I could cook if I wanted to, do laundry, watch tv, etc, during my down time. There was even a heated pool and jacuzzi less than 50 yards away. The main thing for me was proximity to the ski slopes and I was less than 2 miles away. I had several questions all of which were answered promptly by my hosts. For my purposes the place turned out to be perfect and I know it saved a lot of money compared to most other places in the area. I would recommend it and would certainly stay there again.

Comfortable stay with two large living areas, great kitchen, adequate sleeping. Huge, beautiful deck. Split level home (upstairs has 3 BRs & 1.5 baths- lower level has another full bath). Great host who is very responsive & friendly.

Our stay was wonderful! The place was very clean and cozy, the beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The heating and cooling quickly gets the home to a very comfortable temperature. The place is at the end of a lot of long winding roads and was a little challenging to find at night and ended up being a bit further away than we anticipated because of that, but otherwise it was beautiful!

Fantastic House at Lake James! You will be hard pressed to find a more spectacular view. the house sits near the top of a hill overlooking the lake. The view is amazing, and lots to do in the local area. Andrew was a great host, very proactive and everything was just as he said it would be! The house has a boat dock, great for anyone bringing or renting a boat. The stairs up and down to the dock are a journey for most of the homes on Lake James, but they are worth the effort! My family loved the home and the area, I hope we will be back!

Broadview was spectacular! Mark Anthony’s place felt right at home. You can tell there has been much thought put into the space and it has been well cared for. We enjoyed looking at all of the unique things around the house. The kitchen had everything and more you could want, the beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great, and the view was unmatched. The neighborhood is serene and we enjoyed our daily walks and everything in Highlands is super close. Mark Anthony was a joy to communicate with and was so helpful throughout the process.

Maureen was very friendly and communicative. The place was spacious and clean and we felt very comfortable there. The bed was also comfortable, which is a plus. Happy to have no complaints!

My family of 14 enjoyed every minute of their stay at this home. They were visiting from out of state for thanksgiving and everyone had a wonderful stay. Even with a large group, this home was perfect and walkable to a lot of restaurants and bars to keep everyone entertained. I highly recommend this property to any large group visiting Johnson city and the host is wonderful!

Great place to stay. Very private, easy access. Nice little screened in porch! Loved that there were even chilled glasses in the freezer! Will definitely be back when I’m in Spruce Pine!

Very clean, comfortable house on a beautiful large creek. Lovely, rustic surroundings.

The apartment is clean, spacious & comfortable. Everything we needed was available & it's nicely decorated. We appreciated the hospitality. (Even treats for our pups!) The view is amazing! Even though it was cool & rainy during our stay, we found time to sit on the deck & watch the birds with the lake & mountains in the background. This was a great place for a peaceful, relaxing get away.

We had a great stay! The location was perfect- easy to get to, private and safe and still very close to slopes. The unit was clean and stylish. It was also completely stocked with any kitchen appliance you could want, plenty of blankets, extra pillows. It was also a great touch to provide laundry and dishwashing supplies, as well generously stocked bathrooms. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Excellent place to have a pleasant vacation with your family! With an excellent location! 100% recommended! Absolutely everything in perfect condition, cleanliness! Utensils! Instructions! The only thing you could worry about is the weather, the rest you can enjoy it.

Beautiful views overlooking the Smokies, Ober Mountian Trams, and downtown Gatlinburg. Easy access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas. Zack was very responsive with any needs we had throughout our stay. Instructions and recommendations were very thorough, which we were thankful for. Kids had a great time in the game room and hot tub almost every night. Cabin was well stocked and very clean. Would highly recommend staying in this cabin !!

We have stayed at Riverstone several times and this was by far our favorite condo! The linens were high-end and comfortable. There were items provided that we normally have to purchase. The location was great and the view of the river was beautiful!

I can say enough about how great the stay at Van’s was. The house has everything you could need, the space is great and the views are amazing. Van is also a great host with quick responses and clear instructions s. If you’re in the area you should definitely book a stay.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The Airbnb was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had such a cozy, homey feel. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, making our trip so convenient. Candace was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to assist me when I realized I had left an item behind after checkout. She was incredibly attentive and made retrieving it so easy. Her kindness and communication truly stood out. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone!
