Family-friendly vacation rentals in Westcliff-on-Sea

Flagpole cottage and the Summerhouse provided an excellent retreat for our family to spend a memorable Christmas and New Year. The hosts Robin and Francine were excellent communicators proactively providing us with advice and responded to any queries within an hour. The handbook provided clear instructions on how to use the facilities on offer as well as a guide to the local area. The cottage was clean and tidy with ample bed linen and towels. Despite it being December we were able to make use of the large garden and woodland and the children particularly enjoyed the amenities which included a trampoline and hot tub. The combination of all this made our family holiday feel like home from home. We could not have asked for more.

Had an absolutely brilliant time the host was so lovely she baked us cupcakes and bread on arrival and let the kids feed the animals with her she honestly was the best !! The cottage was absolutely beautiful and she had thought of every last thing that we could've possibly needed !! I've recommended this Airbnb to family and friends who are now looking at booking and we will be back next year to see how alpaca friends Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back! The whole experience from start to finish was made so easy by the hosts and they had so many great recommendations and local information. The apartment itself was really clean and tidy and we felt right at home! the hot tub is awesome and spacious and was setup ready to go when we arrived. Highly recommend staying with SoHot here, they are a credit to the Airbnb community thank you guys!

We stayed here for my wedding weekend with the bridal party and it was everything we needed! The beds were comfy, plenty of space to put all of our stuff out, great dining room for all of us to catch up! 10/10 recommend anymore coming to Herne Bay area to stay here. Lisa was very good at communicating and had super fast responses!

Sally was an incredible host and the barn is absolutely beautiful. We had an amazing stay. It is so peaceful, beautifully designed and the small details like the robes and the toiletries provided that extra special touch. We all agreed it was 5 star through and through! Beautiful property and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. If you get the chance to book, do it! You’ll have the best time.

We had a great vacation at Brett’s place, conveniently located in a peaceful neighborhood. We really enjoyed walking to Katherine’s Dock for coffee and food. The home is well maintained, everything is equipped. We three of us enjoyed privacy with plenty of spaces!

We've stayed at this accomodation a few times & never been disappointed. It feels very homely & we really appreciated the beautiful christmas decorations on display when we arrived. The hot tub was a great addition to our stay.Big thanks to Marc & Sarah.

Stunning cottage just moments from the high street. Lots of gorgeous shops, restaurants, and pubs a short walk away. Moments from the water. The cottage itself has everything you could need and the beds are super comfortable. We had the best time.

Sophie’s place is exactly what says on the tin, really beautiful, peaceful and well equipped. We’ve spent a lovely weekend there with friends, cooking and doing beach walks. It has 5 comfortable double rooms, a big dinning table and some great lounging area.

Frank and Jo were great hosts. Always ready on hand had we needed anything but not in any way intrusive. the cabin was perfect for the two if us and the two dogs. It was a pleasure to open the door for the dogs knowing they could safely be allowed to enjoy the garden and the squirrels certainly kept them happy!! No tree rats were harmed 😍 Thwre was everything we needed to relax for a few days. Whitstable is vibrant and interesting with endless places to eat. Very dog friendly and welcoming. We badly needed a rest and I am sure we will stay here again ❤️

This is my second stay at Jane’s place. My dogs love the secure garden space. Beach walks they love too. Love the changes with the kitchen since my last stay and look forward to next year when hopefully I can book again x thank you Jane

The house was very very nice and pretty large which we needed and in a superb location. Very nice quiet street but also very close to Church Street and all its amen. The kids playroom basement was a real bonus for our kids. Kaz was very friendly and really helped us out by letting us drop our 4 suitcases when we arrived in Stoke Newington otherwise we would have had an awkward few hours! She also let us move into the house early which was also very appreciated. Overall it was probably our best Airbnb experience to date.

We had a lovely stay. The caravan was perfect and the beds super comfortable. The view was beautiful,the pictures dont do it justice. We were lucky with the weaher,it was lovely sitting on the decking in the beautiful Autum sunshine. Just wish we stayed longer. Thank you.

What a luxurious, secluded and cosy cottage. Tim & Maite are wonderful and generous hosts. Lots of thoughtful touches – a welcome hamper, sweets left on our pillows. The cottage has been furnished to an outstanding standard – everything we needed and more! We especially loved swimming in the outdoor pool and then warming up by the wood burner! A fantastic lodge which had everything we needed for our stay and was spotlessly clean. Michelle was lovely and met us on arrival to explain everything. Would highly recommend.

Great house to spend time with friends for a 50th. Very close to Canterbury which has lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. Also close to Chapel down and a couple of stellar pub do lunch out dinner. The house was everything we needed it to be and the pool was perfect!

Maggie’s property is really special. It’s a marvellous old house in a fabulous seaside location. The interior is charming and very comfortable. The kitchen area is well equipped and is a fantastic space to hang out in. I imagine the house is even more wonderful in summer, with its beautiful garden and pool to enjoy. Personally I could enjoy just sitting for hours in the “observation room” at the top of the house watching the shipping go back and forth on the Thames Estuary. My family and I LOVED this house.
