excelen place. remote, peaceful, adventurous all at the same time. I was there for two nights and it was exactly as expected. food was delicious and the hosts are such friendly and welcoming people. they do a very good job at letting you know this is not a 5 star luxury experience, it is an adventure. so make sure that's what you want. if it is, then you're in for a great experience. the coral is beautiful, cabins are great.

We loved our stay here! It was very fitting to stay in a cabin in the mountains when in a town like Monteverde. We even got some views of wildlife from the balcony like a monkey and a woodpecker! There were some bugs and spider webs inside, but that is to be expected in a place like this. The hosts were very responsive when we had questions about the hot water. Other reviews mention issues with the water, but we had no issues as long as we only had one shower running at a time. I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic and beautiful house located in the jungle in a very private land yet it’s walkable to the main road (a good 20 minutes). Very clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The location is ideal to explore the Puerto Viejo and south Carribean region of CR.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our anniversary getaway at Mel’s Botanical Retreat! Jamaica, mountains, tropics, community- the vibes are all here! You must be a little adventuresome to appreciate the drive and hike to get here. Kiara’s cooking and hospitality is excellent! The amenities are basic and sufficient, which is what we wanted. The views are amazing!

Louise really takes great care in her two cottages. Our cottage up on the hill was a beautiful and remote location with all of the discrete luxuries you could ask for. The outdoor shower and complete green panaroma were a standout! Louise is also local, having been on the island for a long time. Our conversations with her were also fun and gave insights into daily life in Antigua. Lovely stay all around and we would come back!

A lovely place, perfect to get out of the everyday life of the city. It's beautiful to see the squirrels and canyons reach the balcony of the cabin to feed. I would come back a thousand times.

Unique treehouse stay nestled in the woods, but still very close to downtown La Fortuna; we were able to walk to shops and restaurants every night!

Huberth welcomed us as we drove in the gate. Showed us our cabin and answered all our questions including recommendations for dining and activities. The cabin was perfect and the grounds were beautiful! We enjoyed so very much! Pura Vita!

We loved our stay at Andres’s. He was so helpful showing us the way when Google failed us (use Waze). The place is lovely and looks just like the photos. Amazing view. There’s even a little trail around the grounds. We appreciated the extra touches like wine and chocolate. The hot tub was perfect. A couple of tips - close the blinds before you leave for the day - the windows face West and the place can get warm. Also, the A/C unit has a heat mode, but it didn’t appear to have heat. There was a space heater above the bench in the entrance for when it cooled off in the evenings. Very minor things we learned. We’d still highly recommend this place.

ONE WORD - magical!! This place was exactly what we were looking for to relax for a couple of days! The place is beautiful, as well as the incredible restaurant on site with the BEST food! The location is ideal as it's away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy Guatape and El Penol easily! HIGHLY recommend a visit to this beautiful part of Colombia!!!

Me and my brother had a great stay and I enjoyed the Bahama Hideaway a lot. I love tropical plants and gardens and the compound is a botanical and garden and as nice as many on the island. The owners / hosts were very friendly and nice. They live in the complex of four of five stand alone cottages and are super nice and helpful. They arranged for a jet ski pickup right at their dock and have kayaks, beach chairs, snorkel and other equipment for the use of the guests. The beach is across the street through a short path and is awesome. The beach restaurant's are walking distance from the hideaway. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had and I use Airbnb frequently.

Once I saw a reel of them I heard the phrase "they are accomplices of love" so I decided to put them in test, I talked to Jeferson about how I could propose to my girlfriend and I explain a plan so beautiful and magical that I decided to follow it, on the day of the event everything was so spectacular. It's not just the service of them, the facilities are quite good and modern. The restaurant is very good and more than everything Nini, who always caters to this disposition of one and has a beautiful charisma. I would return 20 times for everything Shamabala offers! We stayed at the cabin for two days, and were delighted. Very well located in Les Anses d 'Arlet, beautiful treehouse, with beautiful decoration. Fairytale place. The pool with mountain views is beautiful, although there are a few other accommodations in the residence, we have always had the pool to ourselves. Location a little difficult to find at first, despite the clear information, but Huguette helped us and was very nice. In short, very happy with our stay in Ti Bakoua, which will leave us great memories of Martinique.

This is one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. It was down the steps from the main house and we felt very private and tucked away in our own world overlooking the valley. It was lovely waking up to the birds chirping. Watching and listening to the afternoon storms roll in from the patio and big windows was really incredible. Our hosts were also super responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommend!
