Guesthouse vacation rentals in West Hobart

This location suited us because it was a 2 min drive from the family members we were in Hobart to visit. It was also only 8-10 mins drive from the city centre. It's a slightly odd setup for a couple, as there are 3 single beds in a lineup, but we were aware of this from the pics and just pushed 2 of the beds together. It is spacious. It's looking a little dated and tired and could do with a bit more character, but has air con, iron, vacuum cleaner, a free-to-air TV and other amenities. (No coffee plunger though). Apart from a checkin message from Thao we had no other contact with the host in the 10 days we were there. Because of its useful location, we would probably stay there again if we came to Hobart.

Amazing view. Bring your binoculars and watch the boats in the harbour. Really enjoyed the cockatoos stopping by daily to snack on the nearby fruit tree. The space is both cosy and spacious because of the big windows. The photos are accurate.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Mieke's place. It is so cozy and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and forest, yet close to the city. Loved the bluberries from her farm too!

The Mill Cottage is perfect! The location is great. We spent some days enjoying picturesque Richmond and other days visiting Eaglehawk Neck, Chauncy Vale, kunanyi and Maria Island. The cottage is very beautiful with lovely decor, high quality linen and lovely surroundings. It had all the facilities we needed for a 9-night stay. Rob and Susan are amazing hosts. We felt welcomed from the very beginning. It was easy to contact them if needed but the cottage was very private at all other times. Susan and Rob are so generous with their welcome basket and the extras we received because of our long stay. Overall, a phenomenal place to stay!

A fantastic space that was perfect for my visit to the area. It had everything I needed and I was comfortable through the changing weather of Tassie. The loft was easy to get to and private and I really appreciated Natasha’s and Alex’s information about the loft, the area and their considerate touches. The wallabies in the garden were a bonus joy in the mornings.

We had a wonderful time in the Boat House. The views are amazing, it’s very nice and quiet and the house is exactly as described. We would definitely book it again!

We loved our stay in the loft! It had everything we required with some nice extras left for us, which were greatly appreciated. Mel is a great host who communicates promptly. We felt like the loft was a perfect stay for our time in Hobart.

A peaceful place to sit and watch the world go by. We enjoyed walking down to the bay each afternoon to explore what may be on the shoreline. The kayaks were an awesome extra that I would've loved to use, if only it was a bit warmer. The pictures showcased the pod perfectly. Anna was very helpful with her instructions prior to our stay. She was spot on with reminding us to gather supplies before hitting the island.

This Airbnb was nice and cosy, everything was as described. Great price, and good location to get around Hobart and surrounds. Private and peaceful after long days exploring. I would recommend this to anyone looking for accommodation with everything you need while travelling on a budget!

A stunning stay! The view was amazing and we loved all the little Christmas details, let's not forget the beautiful cookies! We love this peaceful location and will definitely be sending this to our friends and family when they next head down to Tassie. Looking forward to coming back on day.

This place and the hosts were a 12/10! The air bnb itself was gorgeous and had an incredible view with awesome amenities. The hosts, Pip and Pete were THE BEST. So kind and accommodating. We loved sauna-ing and swimming in the pool. It was dreamy. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return in the future!

We had a wonderful stay the house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing family trip. The location was perfect nestled in a beautiful, peaceful area . We loved exploring the sights and coming back to such a cozy, welcoming space. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart. Private unit with great architectural features, high-end furnishing/appliances and a magnificent harbour view. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was super quiet. So much was provided, we felt extremely pampered. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

A fantastic location in the bush with lots of wildlife around. Peaceful, clean and very spacious chalet, one of the biggest AirBNB's we have stayed in, with a super comfortable bed. Rosie is a friendly owner with lots of useful information. We were only a short drive from Hobart or Sandy Bay. Nice bushwalks directly from the property. Highly recommended.

Charming and comfortable property in lovely natural surroundings 15 minutes from Hobart Airport. We only had one night as we were collecting family from the airport but would have happily stayed longer. Very peaceful area with access to beaches and walks. Opportunities for birdwatching and visiting mammals. Well-appointed with all necessary facilities. Friendly and helpful host.

Very nice and welcoming hosts. Local area is very quaint and close driving distance to the CBD and local landmarks. Studio is very cozy and clean with high quality amenities provided. Will definitely recommend 👍

Absolutely lovely place to stay, we walked into Richmond easily, had a picnic by the bridge one day, using the picnic hamper and blanket provided; beautiful linens, comfortable bed, superb coffee machine, definitely one of the best airbnb s we’ve ever stayed in- and we’ve stayed in a lot!

This property is beautifully appointed with modern renovations internally. Very well presented and lots of thought given to the presentation internally . We had a peaceful stay in a nice area close to everything in the town all within an easy walking distance. The house was very clean and we will stay there again when visiting Richmond

Michaela's place is adorable! Gated home with electric gate. Beautiful area! Michaela offered suggestions on restaurants, local attractions and groceries. We loved it and would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

We started the trip in Tasmania Hobart and ended our trip in Hobart, both stays were at Tracey’s place. It’s such an amazing place that my children love it so much. Wifi is strong, lots of treats and goodies, perfect privacy, clean and neat, new utensil and truly felt like home!! Thank you Tracey.

We loved our stay in sandy bay! The location is unbeatable in Hobart especially for some day trips to national parks. The guest house felt private and well taken care of and was extremely clean and comfortable. Prue as a host was great. She gave us some awesome local recommendations and was responsive during our stay. I’d definitely recommend to any friends coming to Hobart!

A well appointed and comfortable home, in a secluded relaxing location. The there are amazing views from every room overlooking the bay; and from the large entertaining deck. All of the spaces are functional and considerately setup, down to the spare power point for guest devices and labeled hdmi cable in the entertainment unit. I’d stay again tomorrow. The family found it hard to leave.

we found the apartment spacious and very comfortable, well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet and well appointed. Simon was a great host And would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Hobart. Hopefully we will come back.
