Vacation rentals with breakfast in West Hobart

I stayed for five weeks and had a great time! If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful place in a rural location, look no further. The unit is as advertised. The hosts Christiane and Walter were very friendly and welcoming and graciously included me on some social outings, giving me a chance to see some of the surroundings, as well as generously making recommendations. The dogs Holly and Otto are also very nice; although, keep in mind that they bark loudly the first time they meet someone (or encounter a strange car). I finally got to see the Southern Lights (Aurora Australis) while staying there. I also enjoyed meeting the neighbors. And both a grocery store and beaches are within easy driving distance. The next time I visit Snug, I know where I will be staying!

During our campervantrip, before we spent 2 nights in Freya's house, the 'credo' was: "Expect the unexpected". The credo for Freya and her house is: you do not have to expect something unexpected, because literally EVERYTHING is there... Thanks a lot, Freya!!

Outstanding! You will not be disappointed. Every year five of us girls get together to celebrate two of our birthdays, and this would have to be the best by far! The spa is an absolute hit, we definitely made the most of it. This house has absolutely everything you need and felt like home… it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. All the beds were comfortable, and warm. And the bread, milk and continental breakfast was a lovely touch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely residence! Very well provisioned kitchen and a great range of cooking utensils and essentials. The view is stunning from the lounge and dining room, and nice to have some native wildlife sightings from the balcony. The three bedrooms also have great privacy from one another, so ideal for those that want a bit of space. Would really recommend a stay here, especially for large groups!

Tony's Monaray House is an arcade gamers paradise. So many pinball machines, arcade machines free to play. Smart TVs in every room. Projector with High quality sound system for movie nights. Very conveniently located newly built house with all facilities needed for a comfortable stay. We spent 4 nights and it was fabulous. A lot of entertainment for children (especially boys). Electric BBQ. Heated blankets and comfy beds. Huge clean Bathroom. Nice small deck and patio. Highly Recommend.

We loved staying at Eve’s place, it is beautiful with a home vibe. It was well equipped with amenities which meant that we could go out or stay in if we wanted. Eve was very prompt with replying to messages and gave us some great recommendations on what to see, where to go and where to eat! We will definitely stay again next time we are in Hobart.

Fantastic place, clean and well maintained. Great location, very near to Moonah Central where you can get food and groceries.

I can only join the accolades for this top notch accommodation. We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs and Felicity and Andre’s place is way up there - pretty much a template for what you would hope for from a stay and what gives great Airbnb properties the definite edge over hotel accommodation. Felicity’s communication. - including great local recommendations - throughout, was perfect. Location - enormous tick. Wonderfully comfortable and every possible thing you could need - tick, tick. The totally distinguishing factor with this property was the sense of warm, hospitable welcome that was a hallmark of some of our early Airbnb stays, but seems unfortunately rare these days. Obvious in the crazy amount of provisions made available to guests, but also there in the thought that has clearly gone in to this property. Many thanks for your hospitality. This will be somewhere I’ll always check for availability when coming to Hobart!

We absolutely loved staying here. It was in a gorgeous location, close walk to shops and quiet. The unit is spacious and spotless with tv, fridge, washing machine, air fryer, kettle etc. Macy was so communicative, and helpful. She answered any questions we had and allowed a late checkout. I would highly recommend to others looking for a lovely place to stay while in Hobart. We will be back!

We loved our stay here, thank you so much for having us- we would definitely stay again! The place had amazing views and such a cool style! It was in a great location close walk to everything or a short Uber away. There was also good coffee and lots of different activities. Thank you for all the delicious breakfast items also.

Very comfortable and thoughtful extras provided - bread,milk, eggs,wine, fresh flowers. Pantry had good selection of tea, coffee, oil, spices etc and there were fresh herbs in the pretty garden. Colourful decor - very homely.We enjoyed watching birds in garden from bedroom. Had everything we needed. Location - not far to walk to the signal station.Short drive down hill to Sandy Bay, Salamanca, CBD.

Yvette's place was great - a lovely space for us to spend a few days and very well located to walk into and around Hobart. On top of being well equipped, Yvette has included lots of thoughtful additions that made our stay even more comfortable.

Anja’s place is lovely and cosy, and both she and her husband were very friendly and gave us some great tips for places to eat etc.

Lovely unit that is clean and comfortable for our week long stay. Quiet neighborhood with gardens filled with beautiful flowers. 15 mins walk to woolies and 35 mins walk to the city center. We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed our time in Hobart.

Hilary’s place was a super cozy place in Hobart. We were greeted with a warm welcome, fresh bread. We received helpful instructions on where to find things locally and providing your happy to walk the Hobart centre is not far away. Thanks for a very comfy stay!

This place is perfect for a tranquil getaway. Gaze at the creek, watch for the platypus and listen to the bird symphony. Barb and Peter are wonderful hosts, very responsive yet respectful of guest’s privacy. The studio is flooded with light though the electric blanket will certainly be needed in the cooler months. Highly recommended.

Nicky’s house was very spacious, well maintained and fitted out, and lovely space to come back to after a day out. For a heritage house it maintains it heat well in the middle of winter and has been thoughtfully renovated. It is in a great spot for getting around town and near to some great restaurants and cafés . Nicky was very responsive and helpful when we messaged, and organised our check in and check out around our arrival and departure in Hobart.

Our stay at Donna's was absolutely fantastic! Not only were Donna and her dogs incredibly discreet, welcoming, and delightful, but the entire place was impeccably clean and stunningly beautiful. It's easily one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had, and if we find ourselves in Tasmania again, we'll definitely be returning.

We stayed at Penny’s for 3 nights and she made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Checked in was easy and the bed was so comfy in the bedroom. The accommodation is walkable from the main city but there were buses available if we had done too much walking that day. She gave us plenty of local recommendations for around Hobart and was very informative. We had a pleasant stay and would book again if we are back in Hobart.

Sue and Roger were absolutely fantastic hosts: went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The ambience of the heritage listed house was amazing, the light and refreshing breakfasts superb, and the conversations and local insights very helpful. Thank you so much - we will be back!

Had a lovely stay at Graham's place and would highly recommend. A nice 10-15 minute stroll down to Salamanca/ wharfs where you'll find a lot of the best attractions/ food & drink in Hobart. An easy check-in process, very relaxed atmosphere, nice private rooms, and Graham himself is a genuinely friendly and hospitable host.
