Great value for a lovely quiet retreat for the weekend, easy to get around the North Cornish coast from the location. Accomodation was spotless and very comfortable, would happily stay again as it offered all we need.

We had a gorgeous stay at Shuttaford Farm. There are so many lovely touches in the barn that you feel right at home, but it all feels very special and thoughtful. Fran was a terrific host - responsive and friendly, and even leant me a spare pair of walking boots when I realised I’d left mine at home! The surrounding area is just stunning - highly recommend a walk through Hembury Woods. Highly recommended for a family trip.

We had a beautiful stay at Sara and Rob’s idyllic place - what a find! So peaceful but plenty of things to do and the kids were delighted with being able to feed the animals and run free. Only regret is not staying longer! Thanks so much to you both.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Beautiful place to stay. Kim been very welcomed,very polite. She made home made cake for my daughter's birthday. Absolutely loved to stay there. My daughters was over the moon,seeing and feeding the chickens, that made her day for 110% Thank you for having us :))))

The cottage is in a lovely location with great views from one of the double bedrooms and the conservatory and driveway. It felt very homely with the fire very useful, comfy sofas, thick stone walls. Kitchen is a little small but has everything needed, and has a spacious dining area attached. Comfortably fits 6, even 7 with sofa bed, though the two single bed mattresses feel a bit old. It was at a discounted price however with some more work said to be needed. Lovely woodland walk on the doorstep and coast very close. Very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t find pre-warned damp much of an issue. Amy was helpful and attentive though being in a different time zone. Appreciated the private space. A good find.

Had a fabulous stay at Olivia’s Orchard cottage. Lots to do with farm animals around, Games room, outdoor games and lots of walks to relax and unwind at the property. Property was in proximity to Plymouth and Looe and found it very convenient to explore by car from here.

Hallagather Farmhouse was a very successful find for our family Christmas week. It fitted us all in nicely - 6 adults, 4 pre-teen children & 2 dogs - all had lovely bedrooms with an en-suite or dedicated bathroom - plus one downstairs. Plenty of open space downstairs and a huge kitchen with the Aga keeping it warm all the time. The wood-burning stoves kept us all cosy when not exploring the short walk down to the beach and Combe Barton Inn, the coastal path, Tintagel, Padstow & the local beaches etc. Becky provided a Christmas tree and was a good host. I'd thoroughly recommend Hallagather - it certainly suited our three families & our pets!

An absolutely beautiful stay at Pear Tree Cabin, Pete and Lucy were amazing with communication. The cabin is much bigger and even more beautiful than the pictures. We loved relaxing in the tub and all the little extra touches were greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for a wonderful birthday trip!

We loved our mini break to the cabin by the water, or the "tree house" which we called it. The cabin is beautiful, a lot of magical charm mixed with peaceful surroundings. We had an introduction to the animals and had a hand in feeding them and petting them. We highly recommend and will be back for longer next time

We have had the perfect weekend at Owl hut! The hut really is out of this world exceptionally clean very well presented with the lovely little added extras. Nat and Mark have both been so lovely! We look forward to returning we highly recommend!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this cottage. The location is peaceful, with beautiful views and it is well located to explore all of Exmoor. Everything was really clean and the cottage was cosy and beautifully decorated. We loved seeing the baby animals around the farm and enjoyed great walks and pubs in the local area. We would definitely recommend it and would love to return.

A fabulous, well-equipped house in a superb location. Very peaceful and beautiful countryside setting. Perfect for our family gathering. I would thoroughly recommend it and would love to stay here again.

Beautiful place to stay! Lovely enclosed garden for my two dogs to wonder around. Hot tub was lovely once we got the hang of it! Nice, clean and spacious inside. We went for a long walk round the area. Also drove to a beach about 40 mins away. Thank you again!

We had the most wonderful stay with Elaine and Simon, who were the perfect hosts and became great friends with our kids (who want to go back immediately). They were kind enough to take the girls around the farm every morning, which the girls adored (and we also loved!). The barn was perfect - exactly how it looks in the pictures, immaculately clean, perfectly set up with everything you could need. We could not have had a more lovely holiday and are so very grateful to our super lovely hosts.

Our stay exceeded expectations. Ruth has clearly put a lot of thought into the space, with lovely touches that made our stay feel special. - comfy and cozy space - good sized bathroom - well equipped kitchen - fire pit (we toasted marshmallows while enjoying the sunset - one of the highlights of our trip!) - wild rabbits roaming - fantastic area, with beautiful walks and beaches just a short hop away. - host quick to respond and happy to help We had a fantastic and relaxing stay and would highly recommend Little Northside to anyone looking for a peaceful and romantic escape. A beautiful place to stay. Stunning beams in the bedroom, very well restored, spotless modern bathroom with infa red sauna and electric shower. Lots of wildlife can be heard at night. Fantastic wood burner with under floor heating downstairs. Easy walk to Exford. Great village shop with all you need and 2 pubs. We drove to Withypool and walked to Tarr Steps which was an 8 mile round trip but a great excursion in glorious late February sunshine. Lovely view from the garden at the pub at Tarr Steps and the food was good too. We love Exmoor as it is an unspoilt gem with so much peace and nature to surround yourself in. Everyone you meet is friendly which also helps. Photos of this place do not do it justice!

We've had a lovely stay at Honey Cottage - great views, comfy beds and lots of homely touches. Barbara was a fantastic host, would definitely return!

Fantastic !!! Booked this home as part of my wifes 70th birthday celebrations for 6 adults and 3 grandchildren aged 3,6 & 9. Tracy met us on arrival to show us around this wonderful house and pass on everything we needed to know. The house in real life is better than the photos. It is so spacious and as my granddaughter said Tracy has thought of everything there is so much for us to do. Tracy also left us a lovely home made cake. The kitchen was a great communal place with a 10 seater table overlooking the amazing outdoor space via two sets of patio doors. A great way to start the day. All rooms were a good size. Outdoors there is a beautiful large garden with a trampoline for the kids, a gas bbq for the adults a barn with a table tennis table and a host of toys and ride on vehicles for the little ones. Go through the gap at the end of the garden to the very popular tree house Nobody wanted to leave after a fantastic couple of days. This is a great house.

Amazingly beautiful location, it felt so peaceful! The accommodation was perfect, they have clearly put a lot of thought into what you'll need and how you'll use the place. The alpacas are fabulous! They are so fun to feed! Thank you so much for an awesome stay x

what a fantastic place! the cabin is beautiffuly decorated, squeaky clean and very comfortable, fully equipped with everything you could need. both beds are super comfy. the hot tub and fire pit made evenings an absolute pleasure. it was so quiet and peaceful. lovely walks nearby. highly recommend!

The loveliest, most peaceful little paradise for a couple of days away from reality! The house was deceptively big with everything you need for a little stay, and great recommendations from Louise and Andrew on local amenities, pubs etc. Louise met us on arrival, walked us to the house and advised on using the hot tub. Otherwise left us to it but both Louise and Andrew were very responsive to messages as appropriate. The house was done up nicely and very clean, and the farm itself is beautiful and very peaceful. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Spent the week at Michael and Caroline’s cosy barn and couldn’t have asked for a better time. Such a serene location where you’re immersed in nature. It was lovely to hear the birds chirping, the river running and the wind through the trees. The barn itself was very cosy, especially the new king size bed they’ve put in. The underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom was a nice surprise. The host themselves provided clear instructions on how to use the facilities and this made things so much easier. Only a couple of days into our stay we had already decided we’d be coming back.

The Barn is an outstanding property. The care and attention given to every aspect of it ensures you have a wonderful stay. So much thought has gone into making it a welcoming and inviting place to stay. Loved it!
