Elliott house was such a lovely stay. Instructions were clear and check in was super easy. It's in a lovely location and it was spotless clean too. There was a basket eith biscuits and teas/coffee on arrival and the heating was on so it was lovely a cosy (especially handy when it's - 1* outside) the parking is right outside too. We all loved it. With some comments from others with us that the photos online didn't do it justice! The hot tub was a great addition and an added bonus was feeding the animals with Vic too. I'm pretty sure that's a activity for the kids but we (a group of 7 adult women) absolutly loved it. Fresh eggs from the chickens were a lovely touch (and delicious) I'd recommend this place for frienda and family and it's jst as good for adults only as it would be for families with children. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

We have just returned from a weekend at Elliott House and the dairy for my dad's 60th birthday. We all had the best time! Both houses were beautiful and clean on arrival, added bonus that the gardens joined together meaning we didn't feel like we were separated. The kitchen in Elliott House was superb and fully kitted with everything we needed to make a Christmas dinner for 14 people. Rachel responded quickly to any questions I had and the gentleman that does the ground maintenance was super friendly and helpful in finding a good walk for our cocker spaniel. The only 1 small negative we had was "the secure dog walking area" being a lot smaller than we had originally thought it would be. That a side we an amazing stay and would definitely look at coming back again. Thankyou from the Smith family 😊

River hall was a fantastic place for a large group to stay. Fully equipped with great ammenities and a lovely spot to celebrate an occasion. Lolly was extremely responsive and helpful with setting the place up to suit our needs and provided great local recommendations.

What a find- Riber Hall is really set up for larger groups, but we were lucky enough to find it for just our family of four, plus dog. Our boys (6, 9) declared it 'the best house in the universe'! It is large enough and has lots of nooks and crannies for fantastic games of hide and seek. We all really enjoyed the hot tub. It was spotlessly clean, and there were many thoughtful touches including the 'starter pack' and covid safety measures. Riber hall sits in a charming hamlet surrounded by really beautiful countryside. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area (Matlock baths, Arkwright museum, tramway village etc. etc.) for adults and children and many places are dog friendly. The whole trip was excellent and I would highly recommend RIber Hall.

We had a fantastic family get together for Christmas in this perfect place. The children particularly enjoyed themselves, feeding the animals, the decorations both inside and out, and the play areas. Would love to visit again in the summer and utilise the outdoor space, bbq area etc. Overall, very impressed with every aspect of our stay. Thank you.

Two of us had a cosy stay in the annexe with our doggy. It was peaceful and relaxing and the hot tub under the stars was lovely. Would also highly recommend a massage from Mandy.

We stayed for a couple of nights over Christmas and cooked our Christmas dinner at the lodge. The kitchen was very well equipped - the oven was a bit tricky but the hob was fine. The lodge was very clean and homely. Great peaceful location and the most amazing sunsets were visible from the lounge. Caroline was really helpful and on hand if needed.

Our Stay at the miners Cottage was a pleasure. The location was perfect for me and my Son we were visiting family over the Christmas Holidays. The home was very cozy and clean, and Maxine was available via text if we had any questions, which we didn’t as everything was perfect. I would highly recommended this accommodation, if you are looking to stay in the area.

We just left here after a 6 week stay in between a house move and we didn't want to leave! It felt like home immediately and was a real comfort to us during a stressful house move time. The hosts are wonderful, kind people and we are grateful to them for their help and support. Making friends with their dog topped our stay off nicely. Great place and amazing hosts. Thank you.

We have stayed at The Barn for several years and it never disappoints. Great care is taken to ensure you have everything you need and there are some lovely and thoughtful touches e.g welcome pack of groceries, christmas crackers and even slippers if you forget your own. The property is spotless and very comfortable and beautifully furnished. We can not speak highly enough of our host who was in regular conatct to check we had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful property.

Fantastic stay, perfect for what we needed for a weekend. Added bonus was the log burner was lit for us on our arrival. Beautiful surroundings and lovely hosts!

This is such a lovely house, very clean, with books, a spacious loft room, and a garden to relax in. The location is near to a tram stop; shops, Tesco's, Sainsbury's are about 15 minutes' walk away. The welcome fruit and wine added a thoughtful touch to the welcome extended to us. Thank you, Michael and Heather, for a wonderful stay!

As a peaceful and relaxing getaway it was unbeatable. Julie was a lovely host, warm and welcoming, the accommodation was clean and well appointed, and we loved the animals and surrounding countryside. We have given it 5 out of 5 across the board, and intend to return again in the summer! :o)

Lovely accommodation Quite little annexe in a quite location is a little gem On arrival the apartment was heated & welcoming, a very clean & relaxing space, a lovely bed well presented, adequate accessories in the kitchen area, kettle toaster microwave fridge & sink Plus a well stock cupboard including several cereal options, tea coffee & fresh milk& bread The shower itself is quite large within a lovely little spotless bathroom, Parking immediately outside the annexe is a lovely bonus. The village is quite with a lovely pub which we ate at, only a 3 minute walk away, Perfect for a quite little relaxing break And without doubt a great price mall in all a great stay & wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Sally’s apartment was absolutely lovely, really clean and equipped with all the amenities one could require. The bed was comfy in a quiet location and there was a secure car park to park your car for the duration of your stay. However it being close to the station also meant it was easily accessible via public transport. Sally was responsive and really helpful with any questions we had and definitely lives up to the superhost title!! can’t recommend sally’s place enough, thank you so much!!

Marina is a really lovely host. We communicated very well and made everything so easy. The place is lovely with plenty of space for a few nights away. Place is clean and has a fantastic location for town especially if you are visiting for Loughborough fair.
