Kid-friendly vacation rentals in West Bradenton

My family and I stayed atNagy‘s place for four days over the weekend of my father‘s memorial service. We had eight family members staying in the home. We were also able to have my sister‘s dog there. What a beautiful home! It was spotlessly clean, and it was much larger than it appeared in the photos. It was so comfortable, there were plenty of places for everyone to sit and sleep, and an amazing heated pool, which we certainly took advantage of and enjoyed very much! This house was a great value—what we paid for the time we were there and all the amenities that we had, it was completely worth it. Thank you, Nagy for making this trip so much easier for us. It was everything we dreamed of and more!

My sister and I had a lovely stay at El Tropicale. We were attending a yoga retreat in Lakewood Ranch so the location was perfect. Very spacious and the pool is great! All communication was prompt and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

What can we say, this is our third time staying at Blue Agave, in a row. The space has always been a welcoming reprieve from our Northwoods winters. Easily the most iconic space we've ever had the pleasure of staying. 5 minutes from the beach, sunsets are amazing, walking in the mornings and evenings! Publix and CVS are nearby, some decent coffee shops too. Not far from Arts District. Pro-tip: The YMCA at Bardmoor, 13 minutes away, and you can get a family pass for the week for $60! Also, vegans, Good Intentions, a wonderful restaurant in St. Petersburg is only 13 miles away! Alex and Alex are wonderful hosts, you can't go wrong staying here.

We stayed with 3 other couples and had a great time. Plenty of room rain or shine. Nice clean and well kept property.

We had a great stay in Largo! The house was perfect for our two families with little kids. The pool was nice and warm and had toys, life vests, floaties and everything you could have thought of both inside and out. I can’t remember if the pool depth was listed, but ranged 4-7’. Our youngest still loved playing on the steps and with the floaties. We visited Indian Rocks Beach twice and loved it there! It was an easy drive. We arrived to the beach around 10AM and there was plenty of parking at the 17th Ave public beach access (with bathrooms and outdoor showers). Speaking of beach, Danielle truly thought of everything. There were beach toys, wagons, chairs, umbrella and lots of towels at the house for use during our stay! Book this rental for a wonderful vacation to Florida!! Thanks Danielle for being a great and attentive host!

We had 2 small children with us and it was perfect for all of us. Very clean and modern. Only 20 min from Siesta Key!

We chose the “Canalfront Home with Large Pool” at Apollo Beach because we were a group of 8, including 4 children. What a great choice it was! The neighborhood seemed very safe, and we allowed our 15-year-old granddaughter to go running by herself every morning. The living area of the house was a large open area which included the living room, dining room, and kitchen, with plentiful cooking and serving equipment. There were also 7 large-screen TVs. The pool was the big draw. The water temperature was perfect even on the cool mornings. The lanai area around it was fantastic--complete with grill and firepit! The canals made a great place for the kids and adults to kayak safely. (2 kayaks were provided.) Most importantly, Michael, the host, was very responsive to our needs. If a problem arose, he quickly set about helping to resolve it. All in all, we would give the “Canalfront Home with Large Pool” at Apollo Beach our highest recommendation.

We stayed a week in Gwen's cottage while visiting friends nearby and exploring more of the area. We felt right at home and found everything we needed. Gwen clearly goes out of her way to create a comfortable, welcoming place for her guests. She even left some delicious cookies on our arrival. We enjoyed breakfast on the little porch every morning and found the location perfect for getting into town, walking the pier, or driving to nearby beaches; we appreciated the beach chairs provided. We particularly enjoyed Fort De Soto Beach, which is peaceful and more suited to nature lovers, walkers, or bikers, than the tourist favorite of St. Pete's Beach. We found delicious vegan food at World Vegan Cuisine if you're into plant-based food. There's lots to recommend here. We hope that Gwen's place will be available the next time we visit the area.

Monica’s place was very nice and just as described. She was very responsive and her instructions were very clear.

It was lovely to wake up looking out at the tree tops, lovely balcony. Apt beside their beautiful house which overlooks the neighborhood park. Charles and Dan were kind and hospitable and their place is close to downtown which has great music in some of the restaurants and bars. Great place to stay, lovely pool and seating area in the garden at apt also. Really enjoyed

We had an amazing stay! The location could not be more perfect. It’s on a busy road so there’s a bit of noise throughout the day but it’s walkable to some of my favorite local restaurants and just a quick drive to anything you could need. The apartment felt even more spacious than the photos and we loved having plenty of room for our toddler to play.

This is a cute & clean unit. It was perfect for my husband and I. The location was perfect for our travels around the area, near the beaches, restaurants, shopping and easy commute to St Petersburg, Tampa and North of Pinellas. The bed was comfortable, and the furniture was cozy. We will book here again!

Marisa's place was a very comfortable and clean stay steps away from the beach. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the area and Marisa's condo!

We were a group of 5 women, we had a fabulous time! Plenty of amenities for 5 people except for beach chairs which were available to rent on the beach. We had an issue with the dryer not working so we weren't able to do any laundry which was a small issue. I reported it to Franca and she replied right away that she was going to schedule someone to come look at it but never heard anything back from her after that. To get to the beach from the condo you need to go through a gate that is locked at the pool and then through another gate to get to the beach. Otherwise you have to walk around the front and down the public beach access. There were only 2 keys so that was an issue, maybe a lock with a code would be more helpful? All in all the condo was everything that was advertised. Thank you Franca for sharing your home!

Perfect location! The place had everything we needed. The proximity to the beach cannot be beat - just walk out the door and you are right there. Both the beach and pool were amazing and never super crowded. The place is spacious and allowed the 4 of us to have our own space, but also be together in the kitchen/living room area and balcony. There are big TVs in every room, which allowed us to watch our own thing late at night. The 2.5 bathrooms helped us all clean up quickly after a day at the beach. Even the garage parking spot was nice and close to the elevator, which helped when we had luggage and groceries to bring up. The condo even provides luggage and shopping carts in the garage, so we only had to take one trip up. There is a full closet of beach items for everything you will need. There are also several games and puzzles to keep you busy inside. We washed clothes several times during the week. Melody was very responsive for the couple questions that we had during the trip.

Our family with small children had a brief but wonderful stay in Treasure Island. The condo was extremely nice and clean, the building felt safe, and the beach was only a very short walk away. We loved being able to see sunsets over the Gulf from the condo!
