Townhome vacation rentals in Wellington

This was exactly what I look for in AirBnB - staying in the home of someone who lives in the place I am visiting and can give you inside knowledge. Also worth noting the photos and description was exactly what I got

Melanie‘s place is located just around the corner of the main street of petone, easy walk to the beach! Melanie is very friendky, communication was very good, the bed very comfortable!

This is my 2nd stay at Susanna's, and it was just wonderful again. Handy location, on major bus routes, and close to cool shopping spots. Beautiful, peaceful and private home. Even though it's a shared bathroom, you have your own toilet and basin downstairs, together with a 2bed bedroom and a little lounge/kitchenette. It offers a delightful courtyard off bedroom. Susanna is the most wonderful host, kind and responsive, but also respectful if one requires privacy. Well stocked breakfast options, comfortable and clean beds and linen. Room is warm, with heating if needed. Susanna also kindly offered to drop me off at the airport after my flight was changed on short notice! She is an amazing host and I will always try booking a stay at her place first. ps. BEST shower ever!

Sue's place was the perfect location for us, and the proximity to the beach and trails was a bonus! The lounge and kitchen area was so beautiful and functional for our group. The beds were comfortable, and the views from the upstairs bedrooms were awesome. We walked to local shops and restaurants easily, and her home is one block from the bus stop to the city. There is no heat upstairs, BUT, Sue provided space heaters and each bed had mattress topper heaters - I slept like a baby every night in cold and windy weather. Her courtyard is like an English garden, and there is ample parking for two cars. She was very responsive when we had a wifi problem. We will definitely stay at Sue's place again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Wellington, with the Trinket Box as our home base. Very comfortable for two couples. The location is ideal — quiet and convenient. We could explore the area on foot or easily Uber. Would love to come back!

Special thanks to Rachelle who went above and beyond to help us with parking of our second car. It was very much appreciated and we felt really well looked after. We could also store our luggage in their office until check-in time which helped a lot as we arrived early morning from overseas and had to wait a few hours until check-in time. Excellent Airbnb and hosts, we can highly recommend it.

Really enjoyed my stay here! The space was excellent and David was so helpful and communicative. The space is very clean, quiet, and had plenty of cool little extras to make me feel at home. Would absolutely stay here again when back in the Hutt. Thanks David!

This place was a perfect spot for colleagues to stay whilst working on a project in mirimar. Highly reccomend. Really awesome host and with everything that you need.

Absolutely beautiful home, clean, tidy, well kept. Had Netflix for the kids and board games for the adults, well worth the money spent. Hosts were awesome, great communication. Had forgotten something at the property and couldn’t pick up till later on in the day, although was an inconvenience for them, hosts had no problem letting us back in the property. Great stay!

A nice clean and tidy place to stay with everything needed for a quick visit. The fans were needed in the bedrooms so really nice to have those available to both rooms.

Awesome location for the price as it's walkable distance to pretty much the whole cbd, very welcoming stay aswell. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful spot. Coming home each night after a day out, we were able to relax and enjoy the peaceful, comfortable surroundings and home. Fantastic location.

This apartment was a very good choice! Great location, really nice view, clean, not huge but everything you need, great terrace. We enjoyed it a lot being there! Communication with Richie was easy and friendly! We would definitely come back!

Can’t recommend enough! Beautiful cosy house in a lovely area. Claire is very attentive and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and at home! Every detail of the house is wonderful even down to how sharp the knives are, and how comfortable the bed is. If it’s available - book it! ☺️

This is the second time we have stayed and its just perfect for our needs. Great location next to supermarket and easy on and off the motorway. The place is sunny and warm.

This home is beautiful and in a wonderfully peaceful area. It’s got that homely feel, with great beds, soft linen, lovely thick and plush towels! There were four of us sharing the house as we were in Wellington for a sports event. I highly recommend the home.

The stay was great and Ben was so kind to gave us a refill for the consumables for our long stay though it is a self serviced Airbnb. Beware of the staircase to access the house if you are carrying heavy suitcases, everything else was perfect. 👍🏻
