Townhome vacation rentals in Wellington

My only negative is parking. I was meant stay 4 nights, there was parking inside the complex for 2 nights and no overnight parking on street, bit stressful. Anna's house was beautifully presented and i would stay again.

Mélanie is a very welcoming and very kind host. The housing is clean. The bedroom also has space. This location is close to everything as it is right in downtown Petona and not far from the sea. Recommended 👍🏼😊

Susanna is a wonderful host - at all times I found her friendly, thoughtful and helpful making me feel very welcome in her lovely home. Location was peaceful and pretty - easy walk to local shops, close to bus stops to a variety of destinations and not far from Lyall Bay (beach). Accommodation surpassed my expectations - extremely clean and everything I needed was there - a super comfy bed, breakfast provided in a lovely sitting room next to my bedroom, fabulous shower, heaters if cold, hair dryer, great WiFi and a washing machine was available if needed. Thank you Susanna!

Sue's place was the perfect location for us, and the proximity to the beach and trails was a bonus! The lounge and kitchen area was so beautiful and functional for our group. The beds were comfortable, and the views from the upstairs bedrooms were awesome. We walked to local shops and restaurants easily, and her home is one block from the bus stop to the city. There is no heat upstairs, BUT, Sue provided space heaters and each bed had mattress topper heaters - I slept like a baby every night in cold and windy weather. Her courtyard is like an English garden, and there is ample parking for two cars. She was very responsive when we had a wifi problem. We will definitely stay at Sue's place again!

This is a very nice Airbnb. It’s modern. It has a well-equipped kitchen including things such as cooking oil and herbs and spices. The beds are comfortable and the 3rd bedroom with beds that can be configured as one king or two twins is very convenient. The living room and kitchen on the 2nd floor are filled with light even on a rainy day. You can see the harbour from there and the 3rd floor bedroom. It’s very quiet, on a dead-end street above the nearest Main Street. It’s a short walk to the botanic gardens and a short drive anywhere else. The parking area is somewhat narrow but accommodated our minivan. A very good choice for Wellington.

A beautiful spot, perfect for me and my two kids visiting family. The layout of the house / bedrooms is great for privacy because each of the rooms are separated by either a bathroom or an open space. Kitchen was stocked nicely to be able to cook easily for my family. Easy access to amazing shopping and restaurants, loved the reserved parking spot. Quiet at night and easy to sleep. Heating and AC worked well. I loved everything!

Easy location and parking, was clean and tidy

This Wellington townhouse was clean, cosy, and perfectly situated near fantastic cafes. It offered plenty of space and all the essentials, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The highlight, however, was its proximity to Evans Bay – an ideal spot for a sunny walk by the water. A great choice for convenience, comfort, and enjoying Wellington’s vibrant charm.

This place was a perfect spot for colleagues to stay whilst working on a project in mirimar. Highly reccomend. Really awesome host and with everything that you need.

Absolutely beautiful home, clean, tidy, well kept. Had Netflix for the kids and board games for the adults, well worth the money spent. Hosts were awesome, great communication. Had forgotten something at the property and couldn’t pick up till later on in the day, although was an inconvenience for them, hosts had no problem letting us back in the property. Great stay!

Had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay, place was super clean and had everything we needed and location was great close to main shops and shopping centre. Very grateful for the early check-in and late check-out!

We loved staying at Sloany’s place. Check in and out were easy, Sloany and Mike were very responsive and helpful, and the welcome booklet full of useful information. The property is almost new and has been furnished with care and thought and we really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies (my husband loves Whittaker’s chocolate, so that was gone very quickly!). We loved being able to walk everywhere, and how comfortable the home is. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to Wellington.

Rather than just write a standard review, I’ll address the bad ones for anyone who is hesitating. You always need to be comparing what you pay to what you get (that includes the area you are, not just the accommodation) This is a lived in apartment, which is vacant when air bnb guests visit. Lived in means there are personal things around. And that just makes it feel homely. The price is fair. I had looked at hotels before, but needed two private bedrooms and the cost was too much. Plus you wouldn’t get all the amenities you have here, such as a full kitchen, washer/dryer for example. Yes, there are neighbours upstairs. Yes you can here them move around a little. But it’s fine. And it was quiet during the night. I slept great here, comfy bed. Peaceful mornings, with sliding doors open out to the decking and bush. Great location, 1 min drive down to the many beaches. Much better than staying in the city centre. Thanks

The house was very comfortable and very well equipped. The setting right on the beach and the stunning view was something really special. We have never slept in a bedroom with a view like this! Penny was a wonderful host.

This apartment was a very good choice! Great location, really nice view, clean, not huge but everything you need, great terrace. We enjoyed it a lot being there! Communication with Richie was easy and friendly! We would definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was about 15 minute walk to CBD. The flat was spacious and nicely furnished. There was tea and coffee available. There was also a selection of bakeries on the same road as the flat. It’s a perfect getaway if you want something close to the city.

This is the second time we have stayed and its just perfect for our needs. Great location next to supermarket and easy on and off the motorway. The place is sunny and warm.

Lovely central apartment close to the waterfront and Te Papa museum. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Good to have an outdoor space too. Jun was very friendly and helpful. Great for the 3 of us but perhaps would not be a lot of space for 6 people.

Great location and perfect for our needs (family of four). Was equipped with everything we needed. i would recommend. We have a big car, so couldn't use garage - but that was OK.

The unit was perfect for our stay. They have everything you could possibly need. Also a lovely private outdoor area. Ben was a wonderful host!

Highly recommend Aaron’s house had all the facilities we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed our stay there. This house deserves A+ - Good parking area for 2 cars - Quite Neighbourhood - Newly built house
