My partner and I stayed here too celebrate her birthday - and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! Surroundings are beautiful and the area is lovely and peaceful, with plenty of open spaces to take the dog for a walk. Pubs & shops within walking distance, and the local taproom was perfect for a Friday evening. The animals on the farm gave the place a home feel and the hosts were really lovely - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had spent the most wonderful day and night at the Little Lodge. Abi was brilliant at booking, sharing recommendations of restaurants and walks nearby. She also provided at a tad extra wonderland platas which we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the mature garden surrounded by trees and twinkly lights. The hot tub was piping hot as soon as we arrived, after enjoying that we lit the fire pit and enjoyed the birdsong into the evening. The Lodge itself was immaculate, had everything we needed with an added touch of decoration and fizz for our anniversary! We couldn't have asked for more- will definitely be back for longer next time!!

Very cosy cabin set in spectacular nature including the beautiful forests just across a field. The cabin has everything you need for a short stay and the firepit and BBQ is fab for good weather. We also had the pleasure of nightingales singing through the evenings! A perfect escape from London. Host was very kind and helpful with both the property and local attractions.

We had a lovely weekend at Roz’s Shepherd’s Hut, we were very lucky with the weather and the hut gets sunshine all throughout the day, it was great to relax and cook on the fire pit with utensils provided. We also loved all the animals - would recommend.

Emily and her family were so friendly and kind and Moose and Dave the dogs were gorgeous. The hut had everything we needed for a perfect weekend and Emily gave lots of helpful recommendations for local amenities. We would definitely return and highly recommend a stay here. Really friendly host, went out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable. Really clean shepherds hut with built in bathroom. There was fresh milk in the fridge on our arrival and the shepherds hut was heated to an ideal temperature. There was even a pizza van on site on the Saturday night! Would definitely stay again. We loved our stay. We arrived on the Saturday and didn’t use our car until we left on the Monday. It was the perfect spot to recharge. The photos don’t do the facilities justice, the pool was spacious and the gym was a bonus. We loved the walks suggested and even just wandering round the grounds. We had a great meal at the kings arms whilst playing scrabble 😊

Stayed in the Shepherd’s hut for a weekend away with my boyfriend. We had a lovely stay. The hut overlooks the surrounding fields and the sea - you really can’t beat waking up to that view in the morning. The hut is as described and had basic kitchen utensils for simple meals. My only bit of feedback on the amenities was the water pressure in the shower. The hot tub added that extra element of luxury however you do need to factor the time it takes to heat up into your planning. I do think £10 is expensive to charge for logs and should be cited in the description of the property. If you visit, do go to the local Red Lion pub for a meal - it was superb. Overall, a very lovely stay.
