Family-friendly vacation rentals in Warrington

I honestly don’t have a bad word to say about this place. It is so nice I am fully intending on staying again. So a great place with my active dog. Also what a lovely touch with the chocolate and fresh eggs.

We stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas and had a lovely stay. Scott was extremely responsive and helpful, his check in instructions were really clear and everything matched the images on his listing. The hot tub and sauna were great and the property is only a short drive (or walking distance) from the village centre with lots of pubs and restaurants. Thanks Scott!

A very enjoyable stay during Storm Darragh four our anniversary. A homely property with everything we needed and more. Brilliant placwment for Chester Zoo (which was unfortunately closed for the storm!) but only took 10 mins to get into Chester centre too. Friendly, responsive hosts and good communication prior to our visit.

My employeees stayed at Ben's property as a home away from home for a work trip. Ben was a really helpful and friendly, always proactive with responses and very accommodating. The property is great value for money, nice and clean. Thanks again Ben, will definitely book again if in the area

It was a nice get away from the city life! Really rustic living at this farm, exactly what we needed! The fireplace was an amazing addition to the peaceful surroundings.

Fabulous property, and gardens , don’t think the photographs do it justice. Excellent facilities and beautifully presented. Lots of nice touches, a really special place.

We all loved the Shearing Shed. Tucked away in the bottom of the valley, it is a clean, cosy, comfortable house set in beautiful surroundings with amazing views from sitting room, bedrooms and garden. The ground floor was wonderfully light and airy. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was lots of comfortable seating for both sitting and dining. Learning about alpaca farming and meeting the alpacas was an unexpected added bonus! I would highly recommend as a quiet, peaceful retreat with lots of walks direct from the house and with easy access to Buxton.

We absolutely loved our stay. The barn is beautiful and quirky and was absolutely perfect for the four of us plus our dog for a long weekend walking in the Peaks. It is cleverly laid out and has everything you could possibly need plus a fab addition of a pizza stove on the wood burner. We made dough and had the best pizza's - a real highlight.

Forge Cottage was perfect for our family gathering. The cottage is big inside with large kitchen and long dining room along with a small snug if you wanted to get away from the crowd. Five large comfortable double rooms. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cater. The village has eateries and great pubs if you don’t want to cater! Terry was a great host, helpful and accommodating, pointing us in the right direction of local walks and pubs. The cottage is a great place for dogs despite having no outside space as such. The lane is very quiet and walks from the doorstep. All in all a perfect cottage for a large family gathering. We will be back for the next one !!

I had a lovely, peaceful stay at Bridestones Cottage with my dog! It is quite remote, so a car is definitely needed, but it's only 10 mins drive from both Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. The surroundings are beautiful, with lots of walking options and lots of local wildlife. The cottage was lovely- a good size and really cosy, with amazing views across the moors. It was easy to find based on Aisling's instructions; she couldn't have been more helpful and was always on-hand if needed. I would highly recommend Bridestones Cottage for a quiet break in the countryside, close to some lovely towns.

Very quiet and peaceful location. Well appointed flat, cosy and easy to find. Corinne was proactive in providing check in details and making sure all was OK. The fresh milk and tea coffee were much appreciated on arrival due to December weather. Great transport links into the city by bus or train. The nearby Mersey waterside is impressive and only a short walk away. Would definitely return.

Great accommodation. Very clean, spacious and cosy. We enjoyed watching the animals and meeting them. Hosts friendly and flexible.

5 stars all round, exactly what we needed. Really lovely place and well positioned but out of the way if you have dogs. Would recommend and would stay again. Great comms pre arrival too which makes all the difference!

Had a love couple of nights visiting family in the area, felt very homely perfect space for our family base. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Cant fault it

From start to finish, the whole experience was easy. Jo was very responsive to any messages, and helpful whenever I had questions. The house is in a great location, convenient to town center, bars, grocery stores, and major roadways (Lancs, linkway). The home was very welcoming. Large space, with ample seating, laundry, large fridge/freezer, and plenty of TVs to keep everyone entertained. The bathroom was really nice, and my kids loved the bathtub jets. Highly recommend!

A very proactive host, flexible accommodation that worked perfectly visiting family over the festive period. The location is very convenient for Lytham and all it has to offer.

A lovely little house in a really nice neighbourhood. Walked into Hoole within about 12-15 minutes, really good sized Sainsbury’s and some really cosy pubs, The Faulkner Pub was a real find and food to die for. Got a taxi into Chester centre for around £6.50, only a 5 minute drive away. House lovely and warm , comfortable beds and lots of wardrobe space. Most definitely would return in the future.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. In walking distance to many places within liverpool but still quiet at night.

Lovely house in a fabulous peaceful location. Jacob supplied the code on the day of arrival and we had no problems accessing the property. Everywhere was spotless and the kitchen had everything you could ask for. We did not eat in the main dining room as the kitchen table was big enough for us and had lovely views of the garden Chester Zoo and City Centre both only 10 minutes away. We only spent 2 nights there but would certainly recommend and visit again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chrissie's Airbnb! The space was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and felt so homely—definitely a perfect retreat to relax in after a big day out. The location along the canal was stunning, offering peaceful views and a lovely atmosphere. The amenities were top-notch, with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. What truly made this experience exceptional was Chrissie herself. She was incredibly accommodating and a fantastic communicator, always providing reliable and prompt responses to any questions I had. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness really made the stay special. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area—we would definitely come back!

My parents had an amazing 7-Day stay at Louise’s place and they couldn’t help but totally love the place. Walkable distance to city center, serene neighborhood and environment, clean, well fitted and comfortable home with all necessary amenities provided, less than 10 minutes walk to Chester train station, 4 minutes walk to major bus stops (Bus X1 to Liverpool) and has unrestricted parking space. Louise on her part is a great example of a perfect host. Kept clear and constant communication and was always at hand when needed. Generally, it’s a 5-Star rating for this place. I would highly recommend this place for anyone coming into the city of Chester as you all parts of the city are accessible from the property. Thank you Louise! 👏🏾

Nick was a warm and welcoming host. He is very responsive, and he physically came over to help us with the heating when we didn’t understand the instructions. He also recommended some great sights and provided us details on how to commute back and forth. Most important Nick gave us helpful tips on what to expect when we went to Anfield for a LFC match - this helped make the match day even experience special - YNWA Nick. We enjoyed staying at Nick’s and I would highly recommend it.
