Monthly Rentals in Wanaksink Lake

My husband and I stayed for four nights in this beautiful, spacious apartment on second floor. As it was on Main Street, I was concerned about late evening/night street noise but it was absolutely quiet and peaceful. The kitchen has a great selection of small appliances that are not alway available in BnBs (coffee grinder, coffee press , electric kettle, toaster) and a wide selection of basic cooking needs, oils, spices, flours etc. Jesse lives on the property, very friendly and responsive to our few, minor requests. An extra added value to the property is Basbousa, three doors away where we enjoyed several outstanding dinners and the Rails to Trails path where we walked 2-3 miles/day. Will definitely be back.

We had a great two night visit ! it was just what we wanted! It was peaceful and helped us relax and unplug. The cabin was comfy and had added bonuses such as the heated floor in the bathroom and hotub. We loved waking up and seeing two bald eagles outside our window!

Such a sweet, well-equipped space. Everything was neat & tidy, and John's place had everything we could possibly need for our 3-night stay. Loved the drip coffee maker (other guests might prefer the Keurig), but the choice was there. Thanks for that option! Wildlife in backyard was just what we hoped for and proved an endless fascination for our dog. We will most definitely book John's home again if it is available the next time we are in the Wurtsboro area.

Jelissa’s place is neat and tidy and worked well for my husband and me along with our 2 year old. I loved that she offered us a pack and play and even had spare feminine products in the bathroom that were a lifesaver!
