Monthly Rentals in Walhalla

Fantastic getaway. The place is wonderfully quirky and real thought and care has been put into making it feel more like staying at a friends place than your typical Airbnb. Endless little thoughtful touches and delights. Our little dogs enjoyed it with freedom to enjoy the yard. Best of all the low connectivity meant our teens had a blast with all the games, the bird life and had lots of non screen, old fashioned fun, as intended. We drove up Saxtons road to Downey track, parked at the gate and did the walk to the amazing waterfall. Stunning. We made great pizza - only needed to bring toppings. They aren’t stingy with supplies. Do read the instructions regarding 12v power and its limitations. It’s all explained well, and they have a bible with clear instructions for everything in the house. A wonderful retreat.

I really enjoyed my stay at this cabin. In fact, I have a need to come to the area again soon but it was already booked out!! It shows that I really liked it by wanting to book it again so soon, and how popular the place is. Super friendly hosts, and a super chilled, green and country location. Also not too far from Heyfield for the great pub tucker and/or wood fired pizzas!! I also loved having access to Foxtel to get my footy fix too.

We had an awesome stay. The place is very comfortable and the location is perfect. There’s no better place to stay in Walhalla: the views, the tranquillity and the central location are unbeatable. Highly recommend!
