Waterfront vacation rentals in Waldo County

This was perfect for my solo vacation! It is in a perfect location, close driving distance to Camden and Belfast. But also right across from the beach and next to a great pizza place for the night I didn’t feel like venturing out. It feels private and peaceful even though it is right by the road. I loved having my coffee on the porch watching the boats. Thanks to the thick curtains and sound machine, I slept so well. Loved the tub, the comfy bed, the well stocked kitchen. I will be back!

Andrew was an excellent host. The accommodation was beautiful, in a great location, and very easy to navigate. Perfect way to explore the wonderful town of Belfast (which has sneaky good restaurants), and broader Maine area.

We had a wonderful stay in such a special accommodation. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Even provided snacks and wine that we enjoyed on the back screened-in porch overlooking the river. It doesn’t get better than that! The kitchen was fitted out with new appliances, cooking implements, pots and pans—great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Location was great for visiting the National Park, Bar Harbor etc. An easy 1 hour drive. We felt Jay and Darryl really cared about creating an inviting, enjoyable hide-away for their guests. They really hit the mark!

This place is in a perfect location and the management is top notch. so many things to do in walking distance including beautiful sunrise views.

I highly recommend this property, “Mariner’s Loft” on the historic Main Street of Belfast! Beautifully restored space from which to hike up the rail-trail, explore the waterfront, shops, restaurants, as well as a great food co-op around the corner, accessing great food to cook in the well laid out kitchen for an “at home” relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere with 2 comfortable sleeping quarters in the heart of town! The price was a bit of a splurge for us, but we found its location and aesthetic comforts well worth it! Note: no designated parking is provided; instead free, though time-limited, street parking in front of the building can be found, with a free 24 hour municipal lot a half block away. Our stay here made for a very delightful two night immersion into the enchanting heart and soul of beautiful Belfast!

The home was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. It was unexpected but amazing to have everything one needs to cook lobster and a Thanksgiving turkey and fixings! David and Hannah were very responsive, welcoming and kind. What a beautiful location in downtown Belfast, very walkable with lovely views. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at the Penthouse! It was a perfect launching point for our downeast adventures in Acadia and points beyond. There was a beautiful waterfront view in a charming small town. The space was cozy, clean, modern and very comfortable for our stay. Highly recommend it.

Charming apartment with all you need while visiting Rockport and Camden. Cindy and Stephen were super friendly and helpful, even to the extent of finding a neighbor to jump start our car when the battery died overnight. Great location in a quiet tucked away neighborhood.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The hosts couldn’t have been any nicer. We loved the space was perfect for our needs. It was close to all that we needed but nice and quiet. The extra touches in the house like fresh flowers were lovely. Highly recommend this place.

Tina was a great host, and very accommodating. She was quick to answer any questions I had. The AirBnB was really nice and cozy.

Alana couldn't have been more responsive to our questions and ideas. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The house was wonderful, with amazing views of the water, sunrises and sunsets. All the rooms were clean and tidy. She thought of providing everything that you might want or might have forgotten to pack, from toothbrushes to razors to QTips. There were board games for rainy days, bird books and binoculars. Belfast is a lovely town and this house gives easy access to its treasures. We felt lucky to be able to stay there.

The house is stunning. I stayed here for a work trip. The location and the ambience were perfect to get my work done. I wish I had more time to explore the beach area. But my booking coincided with a lovely snow fall. The house is very cozy. The hosts were very responsive to all of my questions. The interior decor is lovely. And I slept really well on the master bedroom bed. I’d love to know the brand the mattress is. Thank you so much. I look forward to returning on a leisure trip when the weather is warmer. But the snow is absolutely lovely.

Great Location. very peaceful. enjoyed my coffee in front of the large windows overseeing the river and deer having their breakfast. Train themed room/bunk beds was awesome. Lots of space. Outside was very serene. great place to relax, even in the rain.

All the previous reviews indicated we would love this location, the setting, the caring of the host....we were inspired to join Airbnb to just be able to stay here!!! The beauty of the surroundings is remarkable and we admire the care taken to keep it in its refined natural state. We are so thankful we took the description and reviews to heart! We now have another great Maine memory!

Corie was so responsive with answers to questions about wifi and check-in to fun day trips we should try while we are there. The view of the lake is the best and the swimming was wonderful. Plus loved the paddle boat. Very relaxing!!

Enjoyed our stay. The screened in porch was our saving grace due to rainy weather. Very relaxing trip!
