Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Wairarapa

We really enjoyed our stay. The interior of the house was spotless. The kitchen and bathroom were very nice and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed using the deck and the swing chair and the views were very nice. We didn't use the hot tub in the end as it seemed this was going to take a lot of time and effort to heat it and my partner was a bit nervous about the probability of insects in and around the water plus the weather was unusually hot while we were there.

This was truly a beautiful location and a perfect place to stay. The house is very new and is fitted out with all the modern conveniences that made our stay a delight, with comfortable beds, plenty of lounge seating and everything you need to make you comfortable. We enjoyed the double sided fireplace and especially loved a quick dip in the hot tub, which was kept in immaculate condition. There was also an amazing restaurant in town that we thoroughly enjoyed called Cypress Tree and would highly recommend guests visit as part of their stay. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Thanks for a lovely stay!

What a great week we had at Nicky’s! The architectural home was really cool, and a perfect setup for our family. The real gem is the property - there is so much to do and explore! There’s a whole separate area down a small hill from the house that is a magical step into the lovely surroundings; so much local flora and fauna to discover! Great house with kids as there was no lack of screen-free entertainment. Would go back in a heartbeat!

The place was very welcoming. It had basic living ammenities, which made our stay way easier, not having to purchase/bring items that we'd use little of, like spices, cooking oil, detergent, shampoo and washing powder. The place was well furnished. We had a relaxing time using the spa, and cooked awesome food on the big grill outside. The water hose was easily usable as well. We really valued the surplus of clean towels and facecloths, as well as the labeling of items across the whole house. The guest book was very detailed and quite informative. We also appreciated the host's tailored recommendations based on the interests of our group. The board games were a nice touch from the host. The checkout procedure was very smooth and painless. The host was accommodating of a friend joining us for one night. She responded very promptly and was extremely pleasant to interact with. Overall, we had an excellent trip, and staying at the host's place was an integral part of it.

We loved staying here - the house is in a quiet street and was perfect for our family group of eight. It is light and airy, clean and tidy, has plenty of space, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen - everything we needed. It was wonderful having the pool and garden space for the grandchildren, and lovely deck area to enjoy a BBQ. It is an easy walk to the supermarket, shops and restaurants, and a short drive to Splash Planet, the fabulous Farmers Market and orchards. The location is ideal for exploring the fabulous Hawkes Bay. Thank you Michelle!

Megs place was perfect for our girls trip. Comfortable and Clean. Lovely beds and linen. Walking distance to lots of cafes and restaurants. The Spa was a bonus. A smart TV would have made the place perfect, but a very minor detail in the scheme of things. Thanks Meg!

Like Philippa stated when villa finishes renovation it definitely looks grand and posh. But still loved interiors tastefully decorated furniture and personal touches. All of us enjoyed something different than normal air b&b experience. Thanks

We honestly can't rate this place highly enough, it was a stunning location which felt a million miles from anywhere, but was so accessable to all the local amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer! Bradley very kindly let us have a late check out so we could soak up the peace and tranquility that little bit longer! The property is done beautifully, and has everything you need including games, books, a walk on the property, the spa, and we didn't even notice the lack of WiFi, we were too busy switching off and enjoying the place! Perfect break away and will definitely be back!

From a host perspective, Huong was very responsive, flexible and accommodating to our needs. We had a group of 10 staying at this location and it was unique and allowed us to stay together for a family wedding. In general, the place was as described. There were a handful of maintenance and cleaning items that could have been improved, but these did not distract from our stay at all. We had a large group and the garbage/recycling was a bit of a challenge without a vehicle the first few days, but we managed that too. The home is distinct and one of a kind, with rich history. The long drive was a great test for us and Uber drivers alike!! The grounds provide its own opportunity to explore and do some hiking and such. The views are incredible. I appreciate the opportunity to stay here. I understand the property remains for sale and look forward to see how this unfolds.

Great spot for a weekend getaway with friends - spa pool was excellent!

What a beautiful spot! Great view from deck, kitchen and hot tub of the volcano and loved having a few different spots to relax depending on time of day. Good distance to the volcano for hiking but also the amenities of the house were great, as well as neighbouring highland cows!

A perfect place for a cozy stay near the beach - loved it. The outdoor bath and BBQ are incredible, and only a minute’s walk to the shoreline!

We had a wonderful stay here. Our kids were really entertained by the creek to play in, wildlife to watch, hot tub and glowworms. It was cosy and quaint. The space is beautifully basic, has everything you need and is comfortable. The bathroom is a little bit of a schlep up the hill but that was fine for us. We really loved our time here and are already planning a return trip. Would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely spot

A wonderful place with a view over the entire Wairarapa. It was warm and stylish with total privacy. The wild deer emerging from the bush in front of the hut were beautiful and entertaining. We also loved the bird life and enjoyed a hot lavender bubble bath In the outdoors. Highly recommended.

This little gem is just wonderful - glamping at its best. Beautifully furnished with everything you need and all the lovely treats for breakfast and snacks made our stay relaxing and care free. Great bonus of being dog-friendly so our wee old girl just loved it too! Thank you Natalia, we’ll definitely be back.

What a beautiful peaceful setting. The lack of wifi and internet connection added to the restfulness. The spa pool was such a treat in the evenings. The outdoor shower provided a warm shower and was a unique experience. An absolutely lovely getaway, very closely situated to Palmerston North. Would absolutely recommend of you want a bit of an off-grid experience!
