What a great week we had at Nicky’s! The architectural home was really cool, and a perfect setup for our family. The real gem is the property - there is so much to do and explore! There’s a whole separate area down a small hill from the house that is a magical step into the lovely surroundings; so much local flora and fauna to discover! Great house with kids as there was no lack of screen-free entertainment. Would go back in a heartbeat!

What a beautiful place. Went there beginning of 2025 and again for my birthday early February. Absolutely loved it and a beautiful long beach. Good to walk or run on. Surfing spot.

The home was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of 3’s needs. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would reconsider if we were to visit again. Property managers were responsive, helpful and gracious. One minor issue - we felt that ‘there were too many rules’ - this didn’t take away from our overall strongly positive impression, however. Walkable distance to the town and good options for meals - The Cypress Tree and Osteria Ohakune were excellent.

I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The location is incredibly idyllic and quiet, perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. The tiny house itself is beautifully designed, making great use of space while maintaining a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed for cooking, which adds to the overall comfort of the stay. A wonderful place to relax and recharge!

Perfect place to stay for our group of 3 couples and 2 kids. Plenty of space, unbelievably well equipped kitchen (a real boon for our foodie obsessed grou!), sparkling clean, across the road from the beach, and the rooftop spa was a bonus. As was the thoughtful welcome gift of wi e and choccies. Close to Napier and the rest if the Hawkes Bay. Thank you Hayley and Robert for sharing your lovely home with us. We had a great stay.

Absolutely stunning place - perfect to unwind and relax as well as having lots of activities on your doorstep. Quick and pleasant stroll to town and the Carrot park which our kids loved! Would definitely recommend!

Jutta was an extremely welcoming and warm person with two adorable dogs. She was very helpful if ever we needed anything. The apartment was cosy and spacious and we would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay here. Our kids were really entertained by the creek to play in, wildlife to watch, hot tub and glowworms. It was cosy and quaint. The space is beautifully basic, has everything you need and is comfortable. The bathroom is a little bit of a schlep up the hill but that was fine for us. We really loved our time here and are already planning a return trip. Would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely spot

If you’re looking for a peaceful place with no restrictions, this is it! Do whatever you want—no rules, no stress. It’s nothing flashy, but if you just want a no-man’s-land kind of spot, it’s perfect. Great for families, especially if you’ve got a spoiled kid who needs space to run wild!

Mark was responsive and made the check in easy. Awesome set up with the outdoor fire and badminton course. Very close to the beach too.

This little gem is just wonderful - glamping at its best. Beautifully furnished with everything you need and all the lovely treats for breakfast and snacks made our stay relaxing and care free. Great bonus of being dog-friendly so our wee old girl just loved it too! Thank you Natalia, we’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful setting. Sat outside for the evening in front of the fire, enjoying the stunning garden, orchard, faerie lights and stunning night sky fill of stars as no light pollution. Beautiful comfy bed, quality linen. Stunning choices for breakfast, artisan breads and lovely fruit drinks. Cozy and super private. Relaxed and decorated with amazing flowers from the garden. Just loved it. Will be back!
