Monthly Rentals in Vinalhaven

Vinalhaven is a magical place and this beautiful home is a perfect little nest in which to rest, cook, and read while you are visiting the island. It’s walkable from the ferry if you are hearty, the bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is well-supplied.

Very responsive, helpful host. House is well-cared for. Bedrooms/beds are very comfortable; bedding was clean and also comfortable. Dining room holds 8 comfortably. Kitchen stove is remarkable, and the kitchen space easily accommodates two people cooking and another preparing drinks, helping, or just hanging out. Nice neighborhood and easy walk to downtown. Photos on listing are accurate. Highly recommend!

I stay on Vinalhaven often..my happy place. A couple of the spots I typically stay were unavailable so I decided to try something new. George's spot is quiet but very convenient to Main Street and some of the in town hiking areas. I even checked out the little brewery around the corner and enjoy nice conversation there. You always feel welcome on Vinalhaven. While the house could use a little painting on the outside I was pleasantly surprised with the many amenities inside. Everything needed for a relaxing stay was there. I will return

This was our second stay at the studio on the Stone Farm. We have been to Vinalhaven many times, but the weather has never been better. We retraced many of the Island Trust hikes, swam at the quarries several times, ate at Nebos's on North Haven once. New discoveries: Sherry's coffee and breakfast place on Main St. in VH and several food trucks off Main St. with excellent food and service. Amy and her husband work very hard on maintaining the grounds of the Stone Farm. The garden and orchard are beautiful, frequented by humming birds, butterflies, dragon flies and many other critters. Our stay was pleasurable and aesthetically pleasing. Amy and Thomas are gracious, attentive hosts. We had a terrific time! Thank you.
