Ana is an awesome host. She is very responsive and accommodating to our needs. My son got bored and requested if she could find a ukulele for him to play. We didn't expect anything, but to much of our surprise, she bought a ukulele for us at the house. A water bottle and pastry treat is a nice welcome that we really appreciated. Her place is echo-friendly and clean. I would stay here again if I ever came back.

Beautiful quiet house with splendid views of the ocean. A car is required to move around but it is the perfect location to recharge quietly for a few days.

Great quiet place to stay on Sao Miguel! The place is very spacious, and there is lots of room to hang out or sit outside and enjoy the weather and the sounds of the ocean. You are within a 1 minute walk of ocean views. The only difficult we had was getting our 9-passenger van into the small parking area, but we ended up just parking on the street just down from the house with no issues. I would highly recommend as a quiet place to stay!

A beautiful home in the quaint township of Maia! The place was super comfortable - the highlight is the deck and the view - it is so peace inducing and inspiring! The inside of the home seemed much bigger than the pics. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was stylish and everything worked great. The restaurant immediately down the hill below has the tastiest fresh fish and the owners are warm and welcoming - check it out! Fatima was very kind and flexible with check in and check out. It is a good value and I would definitely reccomend!

5 mins walk to beach. Relaxing and very clean! The host was very quick to reply (even when we locked ourselves out of our room)! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Miguel and Silvia’s house. The setting is absolutely beautiful and extremely private. We slept so well listening to the waves all night. As others have mentioned, the drive there isn’t for the faint of heart but it’s fine and we felt safe doing it. There is a very small town less than ten minutes from the house where you can get basic supplies and a coffee but if you plan to cook you should grocery shop in a larger town on the way to the house. It’s a very peaceful and exceptionally beautiful home. We had some issues with power outages but Maria, who is lovely and cares for the house, was very responsive and helpful. She even made us dinner one night since we could not cook. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay, we highly recommend this rental.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We had a car and enjoyed 6 days with Mario’s place as our home base. The island is small and so everything was within an hour or less drive. Although there aren’t big grocery stores or walkable restaurants, we liked that the accommodation is in a small town with very friendly people. We did most of our grocery shopping in Nordeste, which has a modest selection. Note that most things in the town are closed on Sundays. We loved the pool and outdoor kitchen/BBQ.

Wendy was a great host! Our flight landed early and she was accommodating with letting my family and I check in early. She was very responsive with all our needs and even gave us good recommendations. I will definitely be visiting again. If visiting Azores I definitely recommend staying at Wendy’s place.

mariana’s apartment is super comfortable and clean, great view and just some minutes away from a great beach, we had an amazing time there.

The place was perfect for a group of 4 people, the kitchen and dining area allowed the organization of breakfast and light meals. The apartment is situated close to the marina, there is a sandy beach very close. In the area there are many trips to the ocean, scuba diving, canoe, etc. About 20-30 minutes from the airport by car. The place has a parking place. Very quiet area, good restaurants in the area. Recom!

Maria, was a fantastic host - I think the best we may have ever had! She allowed us to check in early after flying overnight from Toronto and she also let us check out late. She was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. Maria's place was colorful, welcoming, cozy and centrally located on the island. She provided us with fresh breads, cheese, wine, jams, coffee, tea and a delicious pineapple! We had a wonderful time and we hope to come back and visit beautiful São Miguel again. ❤️☀️🌴🍍🐄

The kids loved the pool, was quiet place, and lots of space. the beds were comfortable, the location was good. the view from the kitchen was fantastic.we loved that we had three showers and toilets.

The place was beautiful. Actually everything was as described and better . The host was helpful and easy to communicate. We love the place . Just a little expensive . The view was beautiful but to let other customers know the garden and the pool are sharing with other Villa .

What a nice, beautiful typical country house, full of charm, very well furnished and very well equipped. Everything was absolutely perfect. The garden is splendid, with its blue door at the back that gives direct access to the sea! What a breathtaking view! Simply Paradise! A big thank you to Joana and José for your kindness and beautiful welcome in your little "Azorian cocoon"! Very friendly neighbors! The natural pools are very near by walk! Highly recommend!

We are so sad to leave this beautiful place! The house’s description is very accurate to the T: perfect location- you will be able to explore the island easily, 4 equally sized bedrooms with a pullout as an extra, kitchen with all the utensils, pots, glasses, ect. Our favorite part was the rooftop deck with sunrises and sunrises! The host graciously made the reservations for local restaurants and recommended some extra activities that we didn’t include in our original plans. The communication was easy - usually reply came in 30 min. We would happily recommend this place to our friends and hopefully come back soon. Note: the house has lots of stairs that can create problems for people with limited mobility. It was not an issue for us but it might be an issue for some.

Magical little slice of paradise next to the beach, which the kids really enjoyed.

We spent 4 nights in Luís's house and had a really good time. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped. There is a beautiful private patio with barbecue. Luís and his wife were very welcoming and gave us many tips for hiking trails, visits and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet but you definitely need to get around by car to get to the amenities. Communication was always clear and fast. Recommended

It is a beautiful and cozy home in a quiet neighborhood. We were welcomed by Filomena and his daughter and explained things to us in great detail, they even recommended some playita hidden in the area. Miguel is lovely, he explained how he made the renovation of the house and it really looked great! I would already like for me to be like this... I definitely recommend this place.

This place is amazing! The location is in the heart of town and right across the way from the beach. Everything is within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the amenities of this home. Sofia was a wonderful host!

Such a lovely place, just out of town - 20 minute walk to heart of city. Marcio is a very kind host with several treats for us on arrival to make our stay more comfortable. Several other nice touches that made our visit like home. The place is just like pictures, large kitchen, great TV for Euro cup and parking on street was super easy.
