My family and I loved staying at the Lily Pad for Christmas! We loved walking along the golf course path that was conveniently right out back and there were so many cool breweries to visit nearby. The home was very spacious and accommodated our large family, but still cozy and comfortable. I loved the open kitchen, large dining table, and multiple living room spaces that allowed us to connect without feeling crammed. The kitchen was also VERY well stocked with utensils, dishes, spices, etc which made it super easy to cook and enjoy family meals at the house. Would highly recommend this place!

Enjoyed our stay, took pleasure in using amenities including the hot tub and fire pit on the covered porch. Bobbi was communicative and had clear instructions in place to ensure a smooth and care free stay. It’s in close proximity to wintergreen resort (~30 min), Nellysford breweries (~20 min), and the Natural Bridge (~1 hr). Would recommend staying and will certainly consider staying again in the future.

Susan’s farm house was perfect for enjoying a relaxing getaway with plenty of space for multiple families and kids. All of the spices are very large and honestly it’s better in person than in the pictures. We would recommend it to anyone and return again! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. And it was great being right on the winery.

Penny's place was absolutely lovely! It was the perfect mini getaway and I wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the hot tub, the decor, and all of the thoughtful amenities. I highly recommend staying here and I look forward to returning in the warmer months to check out the pool.

Lots of space for two families to spread out and enjoy Thanksgiving weekend together. The kitchen was great for cooking and the fenced yard was great for our pup and kids. I’d love to come back when the pool is open

We had a wonderful time staying at Wintergreen Resort. The cabin was very spacious and had many amenities. There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the hot-tub, the board games and the PS4. The back porch facing the wilderness and the skiing slopes was terrific. We set in the hot-tub and just enjoyed the view. The artificial snow making machine was working and had a pleasant sound to it, which helped to relax even more in the hot-tub. Who can ask for more. One of the slopes near the cabin was not operational probably because it’s not fully in season yet. It worked out great for us because we took great pictures in the snow. Overall we loved the cabin and definitely recommend it. Thank you very much for the great stay!

My girlfriends and I loved this place! Perfect for a fall weekend getaway.

My husband and I needed somewhere to stay with our two cats while our house's floors were finished, and this was the perfect place. This was slightly more house than 2 people and 2 small pets needed, so we just closed the door to the basement and lived upstairs, which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Miranda had the house ready for us early, and she was able to accommodate a later check out as well. The street and the immediate neighborhood are extremely quiet and low-traffic, and the kitchen is clean and functional.

Though our stay was short, it was perfect! The house was beautiful and exactly as described. The added elegant touches of Christmas added to the charm and was the icing on our Mom Sleepover. We had everything we needed and more and the hosts were quick to respond to any questions prior to and during our stay. Hidden gem that we're so glad we discovered!

The area was beautiful. The cabin was very nice. When we arrived, we had no water. Angela was quick to respond and even offered water to us. There was a water main break and it was fixed within a few hours. The cabin felt just like home. It had everything you could need. The only thing I would change would be in the kitchen. The exhaust fan built into the microwave had a broken door to the filter which fell down every time you would open the microwave. Also the pans left something to be desired but got the job done. Overall a great place and we would definitely stay again! Thanks Angela for being a great host and allowing us to stay!

Awesome house! Very clean, decorated beautifully, had everything we needed and more. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Afton. We felt right at home.

This was the second time we’ve stayed at Dean’s place and it was perfect for our family. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The backyard and windows looking out over it are beautiful. Dean was very responsive.

We loved our stay!! Hunter was extremely proactively helpful and continued to check in with us throughout our stay. We had a problem with overloading some outlets and he resolved it very quickly. Lots of recommendations and very homey. Kitchen was very well stocked and the beds were SO incredibly comfortable!

Stayed at Lazy Acres while in Lexington to run the Chessie Marathon. Everything was perfect from the house to the views. The hosts were friendly and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the space and the amenities. Thanks for letting us enjoy your beautiful space.

We stopped here on a cross country trip with our 2 dogs. The backyard was fantastic to let them run around. The house was spotless and just like the photos. Jamie + crew proactively communicated everything we needed to know regarding check-in/ check-out. Staunton was a cute little town with some great coffee shops. Would highly recommend!

Johnny and Celina were fabulous hosts! We would definitely recommend their home to anyone looking to stay in the area. They were responsive and allowed us to check in early with our flights landing before expected and the house was beautiful! We had a great stay for our friends wedding and hope to be back soon.

My daughter and I enjoyed walking the trail to the river in the back of property, and everyone enjoyed skiing at wintergreen. I was originally concerned about location on main road but was surprisingly quiet and very conveniently located across from the IGA, helpful while cooking for Christmas holiday meals and getting more wood for the fireplace. Our old dog enjoyed spending time on the lawn too.

Rachel’s home was absolutely perfect for my family. We were staying in Charlottesville for my sister’s wedding and had plenty of space to get ready. It was clean, spacious, and very conveniently located (nothing was more than 15 minutes away). We LOVED the hot tub and fireplace.

We stayed at The Shire over the Christmas holiday and to celebrate a family birthday. It was just so beautiful and wonderful-a peaceful oasis in the woods and was such a a treat for even our dogs. The home was chilly when we arrived and took a while to heat up, so bring an extra layer for the first wintery day, but it was absolutely perfect and cozy from then on. We honestly did not want to leave and will be back for more celebrations!

We stayed here for a month during a transition. It was over the holidays and Danielle was so kind to decorate everything for Christmas! We loved staying at her place!

Easy to check in and plenty of space for us, our daughter, our dog, and my in laws. We were about 15 minutes away from everything and having a good Mexican/Honduran place within walking distance was great! We'd stay here again.

We stayed for the weekend bed to attend a wedding in the area. We had 7 people and dogs. The home was very welcoming and spacious. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays. It’s hard to find on the busy road and we did drive past a few times. Mike gave great detailed directions that did help. The bathrooms upstairs were cold as some did not have heat vents but space heaters were available which helped. Definitely would stay again.

We rent a dog-friendly Christmas House every year to provide a place large enough for our combined families (3 generations) from Virginia and Michigan. The Boogie Nights Manor was a fabulous choice! We cooked every meal in the well-equipped kitchen and the dining room table was large enough for 9 of us on Christmas day. Thank you for the coffee bar and the huge variety of k-cups - we all love coffee!! There were so many games to choose from. We played games every evening!! The costume closet was such an awesome bonus and everyone stepped out of their comfort zone to choose an outfit with accessories one night! Thank you, Jeremy, for helping to make this Christmas so special for those we love.
