The house is nicely updated. Large, clean kitchen and a nice bathroom. Comfortable bed. located in a quiet neighborhood and just a 7-minute drive to downtown Lexington. Just a few minutes to hang out by the river.

Loved staying in this beautiful farm surrounded by mountains. Just beautiful, with lots of things to keep kids and adults busy. Close to Lexington and the Safari Park. The hosts were super responsive and friendly and accommodating. They gave us free farm fresh eggs! All decorated for Christmas with Christmas music playing! So much for the kids…hiking, swings, obstacle course, toys, feeding and petting donkeys, chickens, and ducks! Fun for adults with a pickleball court and a beautiful setting for roasting marshmallows and watching sunsets! Woke to a herd of deer right outside the front door! Love to visit again.

From the first glimpse of the rolling farm hills and quietly grazing cows we knew we had a good place to get away from our ordinary lives. Brendan met us when we arrived at the quaint location: rambling farm home and adjacent out-buildings close to a lovely stream with weeping willows, wild flowers. Brendan helped us with our luggage and showed us around so we could get the most from our stay. We took walks along the farm roads and enjoyed our time in and out of the house. The outdoor shower was fun and I loved the deep claw foot tub.

We chose Kate’s place because of the proximity to a local Celtic Festival in which I was competing. The location was perfect — private, serene, and picturesque. Kate was extremely welcoming and made every effort to have the house set up to meet all our family’s needs. We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. We’ll definitely be back!!

We had such a great stay! Our family really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub after our days of hiking. We appreciated the great small touches including the s'more ingredients, the delicious brownies, and seperate towels for the hot tub. The backyard is so peaceful. The house was very spacious and clean for a family of 4 that included 2 college aged kids. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much!

Perfect little anniversary getaway. this is our second time staying here and each time seems to get better and better. we can't wait until our next trip back! things we loved: - the outdoor firepit - the chairs on the front porch for morning coffee and reading - the view from the bathroom things we REALLY loved: - the smart bidet - the shower head - the bed - the decor - the walking trails - every. single. animal. I don't want to spoil anything, so you'll have to just check it out for yourself - promise you won't be disappointed! While you're in the area, check out wade's mill, the lavender fields at tantivy farm, devil's backbone brewery, roadmap coffee (grab some espresso for homemade cold brew), and Taqueria Jalisco for some amazing tacos.

We enjoyed our stay at this nice place. The kitchen is well equiped. Cheryl is a nice person who reacted fast and kind. What we enjoyed the most: the absolut comfortable bed at master bedroom!!!

Beautiful setting in the Blue Ridge mountains of Rockbridge County, Virginia. This home is practically brand new. Very clean and we'll appointed. One of a kind spot with a serene creek flowing in the back. Description matches the property exactly. While you are there, ride up the road about 10 minutes to Greenville, Virginia to eat at an authentic German resturant that is absolutely amazing!
