Apartment vacation rentals in Ventura

All in all our stay was very good. The bed was very comfortable. Tano was very receptive and thoughtful. I put a 4 star on price but only because I pay the difference between the Canadian and US dollar...just the way it is these days. Thanks. we would recommend people to stay here.

Right on the ocean was expected, but the beach disappears during high tide. Was quiet for being right on the PCH but that is Malibu. Staff was responsible and fixed a minor issue as soon as the daytime staff arrived. All-round good stay...

My overall 5 star review of this listing is for Peter and his attentiveness and willingness to help and be available to us when we needed. However, I’ve also shared some details worth noting. Pros of the apartment: -location and walkability to restaurants and markets (Trader Joe’s is around the corner and same with Target) - two side by side underground and secure parking. -Great value for location. Cons of the apartment: - very thin walls. Can hear everything. - street noise as unit faces 6th Street. - bedrooms have no black outs so lots of light coming in early (great if you’re an early riser!)

Great place to stay in LA. Only a few minutes from beach and lots of evening life + amazing sunset. The flat is perfect for up to 6 persons, the couch is fine as a bed for 2, at least if you sleep easily (as our youths did). The instructions and information from James was detailed, and made everything easy. Highly recommend paying extra for parking. All in all, a supernice stay!

The place was very nice, as advertised. The one hiccup was a brief interruption of the on-demand hot water that Dawn got fixed as soon as I emailed her about it The location is un-matched, in a very quiet neighborhood near shops and restaurants in my favorite part of LA. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at Rob’s place. “Close to the beach” is an understatement. Its literally steps to the beach! I was completely comfortable and relaxed, and Rob was very attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The check in was super easy, the space was just what I wanted, and the owners are lovely. They take a great deal of pride in their units and really, really want their guests to be happy. We were there over Labor Day, and there was the best kind of energy- families, couples, and locals. The grounds are beautiful and in the morning, the plants smell so sweet! The apartment has a semi private stairway, so you’re not walking past other units. There’s a parking lot (gated), but we found it easier to park in front. There’s a big BBQ, pool and laundry (but you need to download an app). The picture he posted of the burger place is a must! It’s an adorable experience that makes you feel like you’re in the 50’s. The beach is pristine, and the space is relaxed.

M.'s place on the canal was magical. Great location with fun decor including a wonderful book selection and a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Very clear instructions to find the place and had no issues getting in. Secure space and having the parking spot was a huge bonus! The kitchen had the essential items for cooking and bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. The heating and cooling worked awesome and was very quiet for sleeping at night. Really walkable area, especially around the canals and to Venice, Santa Monica, the beach, restaurants, grocery and Abbot Kinney. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks M.!

I think one of the strongest points of this Airbnb is the location, although you have to navigate windy roads, you find yourself at the very top of Malibu; the epic views and peaceful vibe make it well worth the drive. The Airbnb sits beneath the main house; although it is private, you are not detached. I had no issue as the host Nicholas is a wonderful man, a great communicator, and was very helpful. A blissful stay for me!

We absolutely loved Maddie’s house in SB! The beds and pillows were SO comfortable, the kitchen has everything we needed and we felt right at home. We brought bikes to get around and never had to move our car! Super close to the beach too! Maddie was super helpful whenever we needed anything! We definitely will be returning to this super cute beach house!

My girlfriend and I took a trip to montecito and stayed the weekend here and it was a very great experience. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The place itself was very clean, comfortable, and private. Everything about our stay here was wonderful. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.

Genuine mid-Century California bungalow done out in authentic local style. The space is airy, homely and designed and furnished with impeccable taste sympathetic to the architecture and setting. What can’t quite be conveyed by the listing are the lovely finer details and casual yet curated vibe. The complex is of a number of similar units and I was treated to visits from the many cats and dogs living here which was an unexpected bonus not mentioned on the listing :) The courtyard the unit faces onto is so pretty, the parking space was very convenient and the location right where you want to be. The check-in and check-out instructions were very comprehensive, cleanliness beyond question and Sean highly responsive as a host. Without hesitation I will be booking this place next time I am in LA.

We had the unfortunate situation of black mold in our home and had to find a place to stay. We started in a motel, but we needed to be able to both work in the same place, so we needed more than one room, and we couldn't afford a hotel suite. The place is basic, comfortable, and we were heartened by the fact that the TJ's and Whole Foods we shop at, were now a half a block away. We did not want to leave, but we had to. We miss it, and now we have to contend with fixing our home. It was like a vacation for us. I pretended like we were in Paris, with my fresh on foot bagels (not patisserie, but that's ok), being able to get something we needed w/o getting into a car. The space heater was helpful. The kitchen had what we needed, and the bed was comfortable. We are very grateful to have found it at a time when all the fire victims were competing and filling all the Air B&B. We have stayed in many places in the Reseda/Encino/Tarzana area over the past year. This location was convenient for a quick, affordable stay. The only issue might be that shoes are not allowed in the rental so if there are a lot of things to unload into the unit, it isn't convenient to have to take shoes on and off. It also is a second story unit so it would not be the best for anyone not able to easily climb steps to enter, or exit, the unit. It is a minor inconvenience, but notable if anyone has a lot of luggage or supplies for their stay. We have rented multiple times from Joseph and he is very attentive and responsive to any issues or inquiries.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was beautiful and a quick drive to the center of Ojai. Geoff and Annika were friendly and responsive. They helped us figure out the hot tub and cold plunge which were great to have access to after our active days around Ojai. It is a little less private than I realized from the description (you share the space with the hosts), but they have done a good job of making it feel private by putting a gate to a private courtyard and blocking off direct access to the rest of the house. It has the feel of a guest house. The vibe was laid back and peaceful- perfect weekend get away!

This place is the perfect get away! The scenic views are amazing. The area is very peaceful and safe. Mona is a wonderful host. I absolutely loved my stay.

10 Stars to our host and this beautiful space! I had family in and we were able to enjoy our time together and have our own space as well. The backyard was perfect for relaxing or enjoying time together. The short walk to the beach was perfect, and the Jacuzzi was such a treat! Pretty late on our first night we realized the Jacuzzi wasn’t getting as hot as it should and contacted Victor. By the time we woke up in the morning, the technician had come out and fixed it so we were ready to enjoy our time. We enjoyed every minute and will absolutely be back.

Great place to stay. Everything was really clean and organized. If I had to be nit picky about something, I wish there were bigger bowls to eat out of in the kitchen and more trash bags. Besides that, Rajvir was a great host and very responsive. You have access to the gym and pool during your stay and I felt very safe in the gated community.

Although the place was obviously older, they did a great job with decorating it and updating it. Jason was great and very responsive during the stay as well.

Great location, very walkable. And the apartment was a good size and clean. Wish list: more than just one fob to the building would have been convenient. Plus there were MANY lockboxes at the door. There should be an indication of which one belongs to this unit... I wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out! Otherwise, it was perfect!

Amazing Stay – Exactly as Pictured! I had an incredible time at this beautiful Airbnb! The house was cozy feeling, clean, and well-maintained. Every room was exactly as shown in the pictures. The amenities were top-notch, from the spacious living areas to the fully equipped kitchen. You can tell a lot of thought went into making this space not only beautiful but also functional. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Can’t wait to stay again!
