Cottage vacation rentals in Vancouver Island

We have stayed at this place a few times now and always enjoy our visit. It’s perfect for a big group, has a well stocked kitchen, a cozy fireplace and a wonderful hot tub with views of the beautiful yard. Will be back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Willow Cottage! The cottage itself was so cozy and clean & the location close to the beach is amazing. It had everything we needed and more, and the hot tub & patio area was the cherry on top! Becky & Scott were welcoming, helpful hosts and we would definitely stay again in the future :)

Beautiful guest home with a cabin vibe and modern washroom. Amazing panoramic view and indoor fireplace. You wont find a hot tub with a better view. Would definitely stay again.

This wonderful retreat is amazing. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our family to spend some peaceful time together. The home is so unique with stunning views. Each window made a frame for the beautiful natural surroundings. There were many fun things to do in the area as well. Loki and Kara are most generous hosts and offered great local suggestions.

Great location in beautiful Cowichan valley with access to great hiking (Cowichan bay estuary and Stony Hill were two favourites). Our house was in a quiet location with comfortable bed and furnishings and a private hot tub for an end of day soak. An excellent stay!

My dad and I enjoyed our stay at Sherry’s place! It was close for us to go back and forth to visit my grandma in Qualicum beach. My grandma was very impressed with the space as well. The hot tub was a nice treat. The place was very clean. Felt private for us to enjoy. Sherry was great to communicate with. I would stay again next time I’m out to visit grandma.

We absolutelly love this place! This was a second time and hoping to come back. Hist is amazing there was a power outage in the whole town and they showed up with some cake and wine! Power, no power it doesn’t matter. The Jacuzzi was hot, fire wood for the fireplace made the place warm and cozy and cooking on the propane bbq made the power outage a breeze :)

The cabin and surroundings are fantastic. Everything was clean and cozy. Our dogs loved having the yard to play in. Great stay.

This was our first experience with and Air B&B and the bar has been set real high! It was the perfect getaway and just what our little family needed. We enjoyed daily walks on the beach and the cozy atmosphere of the home. Additionally, our pets are our family, so being able to bring them along for the fun was priceless.

Booked a weekend away with some girlfriends and we were beyond happy with Louise's place! It was a stunning location, very peaceful but nearby everything we wanted to do. The home itself was gorgeous, and provided lots of amenities. Louise was also sooo responsive! I couldn't recommend her place enough. Thank you!

I could stay there all summer! Such a delightful little home. Just perfect for me and my pup to spend a few days. Quick walk to amazing restaurants and beautiful beaches. Loved every minute!!

What a little piece of paradise! We could sit for hours watching the ocean right in front, and even woke up some time in the middle of the night to watch the moon rise over the water. Very quiet and secluded, away from the beach crowds even though the beach can get pretty busy on nice days. We already wish we were back there! Terence is very communicative and we had everything we needed. Bonus for it being dog friendly!

Kat was super responsive and helpful. The cottage was pristine. I would love to come back. We didn't end up using the fire pit but it looked very private and cozy behind the cottage there. Would recommend staying here.

A Cozy Retreat in the Heart of Port Renfrew My stay at The French Girl's Lair was everything I hoped for and more. Nestled in a prime location, the cabin is the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of Port Renfrew, especially if you're into fishing. The proximity to the water made our daily fishing trips incredibly convenient. While we didn't get to enjoy the firepit due to the fire ban during our stay, I can imagine how perfect it would have been to sit out on the spacious deck in the evening, surrounded by nature. Even without the fire, the deck was a great place to unwind after a day of exploring, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The cabin itself is well-appointed and cozy, with all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked, allowing us to prepare meals easily, and the living area was the perfect place to relax. The attention to detail in the cabin's design made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

We had a lovely long weekend at the cabin. David was super friendly and helpful. The location is gorgeous and private. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay! The place is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by a beautiful forest vibe with breathtaking mountain views. Judith was incredibly polite and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely love to stay here again!

Reef point cottages were adorable and a great little romantic getaway. We loved our private hottub on our porch and the setup. Situated walking distance to town, this was a great spot and we’d definitely come back!

This stay was absolutely beautiful! Such a sweet cottage, in a beautiful, private and peaceful location. So comfy and cosy, at the some time as feeling luxury with the hot tub. Would recommend, and will be staying again! Also, the family of deer that visit are so friendly, just magical. A lot of space to do all of the things I enjoy, fire pit, barbecue and a hot tub!

The Caboose made for the perfect getaway - cozy, quiet and oh so comfortable. The location was amazing, only a short drive away from the heart of Bowen island, and a short walk away from the most peaceful beach. Exploring the nearby area was a blast with tons of hidden gems to see. I highly recommend the caboose for anybody looking for a relaxing getaway.

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

An amazing, well equipped cabin overlooking a pristine lake. The cabin is central to the island making it ideal to stay at while exploring Salt Spring! We were able to cook a full meal thanks to the thoughtful stocked kitchen and amenities! Ashley was a delight to communicate and even before we left we agreed we'd return someday.

Great host, I was busy when they informed me I could check in early and if we wanted the air mattress set up, I seen the message upon arrival. Let them knew we arrived and could set up. Received a message stating they can still set up. Clear and positive communication. We all enjoyed the welcome package, kids loved the snacks that were there for them to eat.

The street was very quiet. I think there was only one or two other cabins that were being used that week, which means we had a very peaceful stay. We locked out it was also very sunny the entire week. The place was amazing with big windows, it was clean, bright and beautiful. Thank you very much Cheryl. We had a wonderful stay.
