Chalet vacation rentals in Vancouver Island

It was a joy to spend 3 nights at Hearts Delight! The chalet is adorable and the perfect size, with two adults and a small/medium dog, there was plenty of space and the kitchenette was perfect. Leah was a fantastic host with quick responses and easy communication especially as we arrived late on the first night! It was a gorgeous area and we will be happily returning in the future!

We had the perfect stay at Jen’s Airbnb for a quick weekend in Whistler! The place was absolutely adorable, so quaint yet spacious enough for our group to fit comfortably. It was spotless upon arrival, and we especially appreciated the hot tub after long days on the mountain. The location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk to the village and conveniently close to bus shuttles that took us straight to the lifts. Jen was an amazing host, responsive, kind, and genuinely cared about our experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and would absolutely stay here again!

Convenient location and friendly host!

We have enjoyed many Airbnb rentals in many provinces and this one is one of the tops. Extremely clean, beautiful neighbourhood, close to the city but still quiet and away from it all. Bear Mountain is a beautiful area. The owners have thought of all you may need for your stay. We hope to return soon.

Mike’s property is drop dead gorgeous! The pictures don’t do it justice. Beds are incredibly comfortable and appreciated all the amenities that were stocked in the bathroom. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to re-booking our next trip to Pemberton here.

Location, location, location. Ski on, ski off. Short walk to whistler village. Hot tub was nice after day of skiing/boarding!

We had an excellent stay at Celtic Place! Such a lovely location for a girls weekend/small family reunion. It was very comfortable and private. Location was a bit remote but the beautiful weather meant we didn't have to go back and forth. Celtic place had everything we needed for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Thank you!!

Stunning place! Flowers on the table made us feel right at home. We loved the location in peaceful nature along the river, exquisite gardens where beautiful dahlias are blooming, the views and fire pit. The bedrooms were exquisite with beautiful linens and wooden king size beds made by Mike himself. Our interactions were warm and lovely. And he gifted us some tasty veggies from his garden. Super lovely!

Laine & Jeff's space was large and comfortable. Would recommend for a larger family or a few families with great communal areas. It's still a drive up to the ski hill but this was an amazing and cozy spot to stay and access the mountain.

We had a lovely stay at the Bluffs. The view is beautiful and the entrance to the ski runs is close by. The house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Leo was quick to respond to our questions. All good!

Had a great stay here for our micro wedding! It was the perfect place for friends and family to gather and such a beautiful property. Lauren was very kind, accommodating, and easy to get in touch with. If you are thinking of booking the property for a special occasion don’t hesitate.

Beautiful private, quiet place that was a short walk to the slopes. The multi boot and glove dryer was amazing for our group of 4!!! Plenty of storage space and garage to park in. BEAUTIFUL views from the master bedroom and peaceful private hot tub. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Would love to stay again and check out other activities in additions to skiing next time. Host was quick with responses to messages before arrival and check in was seamless.

This is the best Airbnb location we have stayed at. Sandy and her husband were so welcoming. The house was immaculate and pristine. The views of the mountains in the area were breathtaking. It’s about a 15 minute drive to Whistler village, but well worth the extra drive to be in such a peaceful area. We appreciated all the goodies that Sandy left for us to enjoy. That bread was DELICIOUS! An added bonus for my kiddos was to meet the sweetest mascot Poppi. Thank you for the recommendations and the hospitality. I would gladly stay here again if in the area. 10/10

We were fortunate enough to book the Holiday Haus for Christmas with our family. We were thoroughly delighted by this accommodation . It was festive, cozy, overflowing with Christmas cheer, brilliantly well stocked (more on that later), and could very easily be the setting of your next favorite Hallmark holiday movie classic. We were super impressed by how well the Haus was stocked. Everything we needed to prepare our meals was there to overflowing. We are an Italian family, so the kitchen is the center of our favorite activities, and given how fastidious we all are--- our wholehearted approval should be given extra notice. We also were impressed by how thick the carpet pad is. It was like walking on comfort. We also appreciated Lauren allowing us to arrive two hours earlier due to an unforeseen ferry booking. If you are worried that sharing the space with other guest would be a problem, don't. Thank you, Lauren, for blowing us all away and adding to our tidings of great joy.

We stayed for a week over Christmas and it was truly magical! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy cabin in the woods and a perfect location for all kinds of bucket list hikes in the area!

Great for a big group (we were 10 adults), with a super location. A big dining room table, lots of cutlery and china, so we could share meals together. We slept well and beds cozy. Lots of work has been done in the garden to make it pleasant for visitors. Clean especially for a log home. Keep in mind there's only one shower so... lots of nooks and The foot massage and back massage equipment was appreciated. Be sure to look at the photos so you know how the place is finished and what the furniture is like, etc. We really enjoyed the games room and the games. Complete hit. Some of the basketball people got a bit competitive! Property is perfect for families and those that want to spend quality time together.

Sean and Katy’s place is absolutely beautiful and they are such kind and lovely people. There were 5 of us and we had ample space to rest and work and enjoy the quirks of this historic house and its surrounding. The proximity of the lake and private dock mean you feel totally immersed in nature- we watched the sunrise most mornings and listened to the birds, as well as doing some swimming even though it was late September! Everything that you might need has been thought of and Sean and Katy were on hand whenever we had any questions. What a magical place. We really hope to come again. Thank you!

Beautiful home in downtown Tofino. Very spacious, incredible views, close to good restaurants, cafes, grocery and liquor stores. Great for big groups and communication with host was very easy Hot tub was a big plus! Highly recommend!
