Monthly Rentals in Ulpha

We had a wonderful stay at High Hurst. The property is warm and cosy, and very well equipped. The fireplace was so lovely after hiking in the lakes in the snow! The garden is excellent for dogs, fully enclosed and plenty of space to run around. Andrew and Robin were so welcoming and friendly, we hope to come back again!

Great little cottage in a very rural location. Ideal for getting away from the outside world and enjoying some walking in the hills for a few days.

The perfect way to start 2025. We spent 4 days at paradise. An unreal experience, what Bev has created here is truly inspiring and exactly what we were after. A complete switch off from the modern world and a reminder of what’s important. The bothy and surrounding valley is beautiful. We spent evening cosied up by the wood fire stove playing games by candle light and exploring the fells and woodlands during the day. The bothy is surrounded by wildlife, watching the birds feed and dipping in the river (if you can brave it!) is the perfect start to your day! This is honestly one of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time. Bevs love for the land and what he has created is infectious, we will most certainly be back. Thank you Bev x

Had such a lovely weekend escape to the cottage with a few friends. Truly isolated with stunning surroundings. Very homely inside and out, particularly with the fire on. Views were gorgeous and it is a great base to explore the often overlooked Western side of the Lake District. There is a hill behind the house which makes for a great quick morning hike (or run). We had a lovely time and would 100% return if we got the chance!
